I'm dead tired and have an early morning tomorrow, so expect a post from me by to orrow night.

As for now, goodnight, and I wish you all to have milkshakes and cake.
Don't worry fox, it took me a moment too. OTL

Well, it was her first ever mouthful of anything remotely alcoholic. Luro can verse her better in drink afterwards, when they save waterdeep and celebrate. XD
Moe's already panicked state became nearly hysterical.
"Ye Gods! We're all gonna die!" She said, frenzied. Things were happening all at once. The man she had been spying on not minutes before had queried the other two, the man responding by turning into basically the hulk. Without much thought, Moe took off running towards the forcefield, opening a portal as to the other side. She skidded to a stop, seeing the suit.
"Oi, oi! Protect the city!" She called, motioning to the portal. She left it open, but went and took cover behind a tree, peering around it to gaze at the battle playing out.
Thank you for the interest!

If there is anything that confuses you, or you want to know more about, feel free to ask. :)
Sorry I haven't been very talkitive lately, lotso distractions and tiredness happening in my life right now.

Anywho, My post is up!
Danny's smile at her victory faded when she heard cannons and crunching wood. Rushing to she railing of the ship, the girl balled her fists in fear and rage.
"Oi oi!" She bellowed, jumping around energetically. "Come 'ere and fight like real men! Don't hide behind gunpowder and metal! Ya cowards!" She stopped dead when the explosion sounded behind her, the brilliant light of the flare leaving spots in her eyes. The girl was dumbfounded, she had never seen anything like it. The island barely had guns, technology like that was unheard of.
"What witch craft is this?" She lept over onto the Coral Pearl's deck, rolling when she hit the wood and standing up beside Marcos as Luro came over to them, explaining a plan. Danny grinned, taking the bottle from Luro.
"Yes, you sounded like a very sober person. But I'll go hunt down where the loud explosion star thing came from." She took a swig from the bottle, screwing her face up in disgust. "Gods, this is so bitter! How do you constantly consume it? Never doing that again, wow. Its making my belly go all weird. Ugh, I'm leaving, have to find the star shooter. Gross alcohol. Marcos can stay if he wishes or come with, I'd say stay and get medical attention, I saw you get hit pretty bad." She handed ithe bottle back to Luro, rubbing her tongue over her teeth as she moved to the railing, jumping down to the dock and took off running. It didn't take long for her to find the two opposing Captains, with Kai and Nolan joining them. Instead of joining the group, however, Danny swiftly climbed a tree, sitting where she had a clear view of the entire scene, the water, and roads leading there, but she couldn't be seen by Fenn. She crouched, ready to drop out of the tree and move at a moment's notice. She could see that rocks were a minimal danger if the child was dropped, so it was a matter of diving after her. Danny was confident in her own ability to swim, but it would be difficult with the extra weight from not only the child, but the chains. All the same, Danny was ready to try.
I wouldn't think nobles or anything like that, but there are the general classes: High, middle and lower. the city has no "Authority" other than the police force, and even they don't do much. its kind of universal in Arom that it's neutral ground for races, and organizes itself, if that makes sense. nobles from other parts would travel through or take vacation there, though.

and yes, I there would be various guilds and organizations. :)
Arom, an ancient city on the very edge of the sea, filled with wonders and magic. Merchants traveled from all directions, bringing goods from across the dessert to the west, the sea on the east. The dangerous marshlands to the north produced the most expensive and exquisite fruits and plants, while the frozen tundra's to the south brought strange meats and pelts of savage beasts, covered in amazing markings and colours. This isn't to mention the goods brought in from other dimensions. The sea was so close; the city was part of it, the streets surrounding strips of water, boats used as passage in exchange for the horses, mounts and automobiles many other cities sported. All manner of people live and travel through Arom, sharing secrets and exchanging stories. It is a friendly city, one where strange folk could find sanctuary from the dangerous minds of the rest of the globe. A city where the space was thin, and the worlds collided. A plethora of wonders inhabit the city, and it's known for its rare items. the city is a crossing point from all the relms, all the galaxies, all the worlds. with this being so, every imagnitable thing can be found in at one time or another in Arom. The city welcomes you, and its people wish you a good time.

I plan for this to be a sandbox type of roleplay, since there is so much freedom with the mechanics. players can be any race with any looks and any abilities, on the condition that they aren't overpowered. There can be magic and extreme technology, and sometimes the two overlap. boats are the main source of travel, but scooters, small mounts skateboards, bikes and other small things like that can be used in the footpaths on either side of most of the canals, and bridges curve over the waters to let people cross onto the other side.

basically interact with other characters and explore the great city of Arom, (Which is based visually off of Venice.)

If you have any questions, concerns or inquiries, please feel free to tell me. :) the idea is loose and I'm a scatterbrain.
Danny smirked when she realized the pirates didn't understand the situation, going as far as assuming the blood on Marcos's shirt was his own, despite how much there actually was. The tiny girl stepped forward, opening her mouth to respond when Luro whispered to her and Marcos. Raising a brow, Danny watched as the older pirate started drinking with them. Was he going to out drink them all? Wait until they passed out? Was it secretly poisoned or drugged? Shrugging, Danny moved onto the other ship, grinning to someone who looked like he did inventory.
"Since we're buds and all now, you wouldn't happen to have obtained coloured ink?" She asked, confident. The man nodded, smiling disbelievingly.
"Yeah, the stuffs cheap, costs only a bit more than black. We've got some-"
"-kill you and steal everything you own!" It was still for a second, before the words sunk in and everyone around the girl drew weapons while Luro continued rambling, shooting the first kill of the fight.
"Danmit Luro!" The gurl bellowed, dodging attacks and planting hits. "Leave the lies to me next time! You're too drunk to tell the difference between a lie and a fact! I nearly had my goal!" She growled, viciously dragging her nails down a man's face before turning to punch another one. Soon, she had obtained a sword, though one shaped like nothing she had seen. It was long and flat, with only one side sharpened. The hilt was long too, wrapped in a type of cord. Had the girl been more worldly experianced, she'd recognise it as a katana. As she cut through the groups of pirates, she furrowed her brow, concentrating on the movements of her stolen blade. Finally, as many of the blades she used did, it got stuck, this time in someone's side. The girl pushed it forward, letting the body fall onto another pirate. Picking up the next sword she saw, she found a short sword. With this she continued around the deck of the other boat, until there wasn't anyone directly coming at her. She stood straight, looking around. It seemed as if Marcos and Luro had finished with their own groups, the rest running into the streets like so many spooked rabbits. Turning and glaring at Luro, Danny shook her fist, though she couldn't hide her smile.
"Luro, you drunk! Always stick with plan B! B for best, A for awful!"
