A World of Progresssive Magic: An Arcane 2100s

Silas von Wainright

Name: Silas von Wainright
Age: 19

Personality: Silas is one of those persons who prefers to be on his own. He likes thinks that he doesn't fit into any category of people, and thus has his own way of life. He acts very distant towards others, and doesn't trust many people. Sile himself is as trustworthy as he thinks others are though, something he is aware of, but doesn't care about. When finding people that he can call friends he acts very careless and laid back, and always follows his own plan. He also won't easily admit that others are right.

Magical powers/ Physical Abilities: Silas first was leanred how to make his magic permanent, before he was thought how to use attacking magic. Something advised because the Law magic was very important. Secondly he was taught some Timespace magic with the first one being Flowmotion. The ability allows fluid movement in the open world making it easier for Silas to dodge and move around. He also was taught Superspeed to make his Flowmotion actions to be performed even faster. Lastly was taught how to use Energy magic. Silas managed to learn several types of Energy magic. Heat which allowed him to create fire out of the palms of his hands, a basic power. Acoustics makes Silas able to send shock waves by only clapping in his hands. He can send sonic booms into any direction, and make some kind of shield around him made of sonic waves. Acoustics also have a side-effect to damage the hearing of opponents. He also knows Polarity which makes him able to control the particles in metals to make them heavier or lighter. Alongside that he can move metal with by making a hand command. Another ability is that he can create barriers to protect himself and others.

He doesn't know how to wield any fire weapons or any other weapon aside from his Kalis. The Kalis is something that he only uses in close combat when he has no other choice. He prefers to keep the Kalis intact as it is the only thing left of Raj. He is very good in melee combat with his fists and feet however.

Flaws: Although he is a strong warrior in battle, he is someone who will quickly act on his own. When a plan is made he will either forget it and just do something, or he thinks the plan is stupid and does it on his own way. Because he only knows three Magics which with he can attack, he will often also rely on his melee attacks. The fact that he often does things on his own can bring him into narrow situations in which he has to think up a detailed plan himself, which is hard for him. His plan often only consist out of point A and point B.

Bio: Silas was born in the family of the Mafia. His father Aldric was your average mafia in the business. Silas never really spend too much time with his father and always was with his mother,Belle, which caused him to become a mama's boy. He was always out with his mother, as, though she loved her husband, didn't want her children to go into the same business as him. Two years later Silas got a little sister who was named Cecilia. Back then Silas and Cecilia were best buds of each other. Aldric spend more time on Cecilia than he did on Silas, as he had given up on his son of becoming his successor one day. This also caused Silas and Cecilia to grow apart.

As time progressed Aldric gained a higher position in the Mafia and was a man of much higher prestige in his branch. But this also made him bitter, Silas was about 14 when this happened. He was manipulating his daughter and treated his son like trash. Belle couldn't take his behavior anymore and wanted him to be like he was when they first met. Aldric had to make the decision between power and love, and eventually chose power as he said: "Love is weakness." Three years later his wife wanted a divorce, but somehow Aldric just couldn't accept that she wanted to leave him. He had her assassinated by someone outside of the Mafia as he didn't want anyone to get suspicious. Silas couldn't accept the death of his mother and hated his father for this, as he knew for 100% that he was the one who had killed his mother.

Silas left the Mafia while Cecilia stayed with their father because she was mentally damaged by him, and pretty much had become his puppet. Silas got a well-paid job in New York, a delivery agency which was allied with the Mafia. Most of the delivery included weapons from the old world and medical goods. Instead of receiving money from his employer, Raj, who he saw as his father figure albeit being only 10 years older than him, he was granted a place to call home, food and special Magic training from him.

The day that Silas turned 19 he was sent on another job, Raj said there will be a surprise when he would come back. However upon Silas' return, he discovered that Raj was murdered. Silas was shocked and saddened that he lost another family member. He discovered that Raj left him a Kalis, the one that belonged to him. Silas never found out who had killed or why he was killed. The only thing he could suspect is that he once was a strong magic user who had a bounty on his head. But further than that he couldn't come. Silas took over the company and continued his jobs.

Aldric von Wainright

Name: Aldric von Wainright
Age: 45

Personality: Once, long time ago, Aldric was a nice man. He could easily make friends and also was one to fall in love with others. He got two children with his "wife". His life in the Mafia began to slowly make him much less likable. He didn't make friends with anyone anymore because no one could be trusted. When he attained a higher position in the Mafia, a very high position, he became heartless. He never smiled, unless it was about killing or torturing someone. He was cold, even to his children and wife. He is an intelligent man, however won't listen to anyone. He loves only his power, and pretty much hates everything else.

Magical powers/ Physical Abilities: To everyone in the Mafia and further it is believed that Aldric has no magical powers at all. Aldric is a strong man and is very good in hand-on-hand combat and also knows how to wield his fire arms. He however prefers using a simple revolver or pistol. Just something small he can hold in his hand. He doesn't like the bigger guns and can't handle them very well. Secretly Aldric does possess magic but only one type: Mentalism. This way he also was able to control his daughter, while the public just thinks she is loyal to him. He also knows how to create illusions, but almost never uses it.

Flaws: As mentioned above Aldric is a bit clumsy when it comes to bigger fire arms. So he doesn't really use them. The flaw on the side of his magic is that he rarely uses it. And duo to him rarely using his magic, it has become a bit stiff. His mind control is very good, but most of that is used on his daughter, so he can't use it on anyone else. His illusions are always very great and strong, but there always is that one flaw in the illusion what makes it easy to break. But it is hard to find it.

Side: The Mafia

Bio: Aldric was born in an average family. Aldric hung out with the wrong people according to his parents but he continued to hang with them. During his older years he also met a beautiful girl, her name was Belle, a name fitting her appearance. They quickly fell in love and stayed together. It turned out that Aldric's friends were from the Mafia, and that Aldric was allowed to join them, which he did. During his early years of being in the Mafia he got two children with Belle; Silas and Cecilia. Unfortunately Aldric was very busy with his work which caused Silas to become a mama's boy. Aldric decided to leave him be and decided to concentrate on his relationship with his daughter.

Aldric worked very hard and eventually outranked his friends and became head of his branch in the Mafia. This power had risen to his head and he liked it. It changed his personality completely (as seen above) which worried Belle. She eventually gave Aldric an ultimatum which was power or love. Aldric chose power to which Belle's response was a divorce, which also meant that she would get the children, as they never married. Aldric couldn't accept this and searched for an assassin. He found the Maiden of the Mist, the best assassin that there was. He ordered her to kill his wife without leaving any tracks, that might lead to people thinking it was him. The mission was carried out successfully and Aldric hired Jack, as he later learned, as his personal assassin.

Shortly after Belle's death, Silas left the Mafia. Aldric however had used his magical abilities to control his daughter into staying with him. He made is possible for Cecilia to also learn magic, but she was only able to learn one ability. So he instead put her in sword training and replaced her arm with a robotic arm. It was however not the only part he replaced with robotic parts. Aldric currently is still the head of the New York branch of the Mafia. He is trying to find more about the whereabouts of his son (which also lead to having Jack assassinate his new father figure Raj) and tries to keep an eye on him, as he got some interesting plans with this world for which he needs a strong group of individuals.

Cecilia von Wainright

Name: Cecilia von Wainright
Age: 17

Personality: Cecelia is a really nice and kind girl. She loves mocking people and has fun messing around with them. However after her father began manipulating her her personality changed. She has become an empty dusk to say so, a nobody. She shows no signs of emotions most of the times, and when she does it goes to the extremes. She suddenly can have a big anger outburst, a mental breakdown, spontaneous laugh and so on. The only thing she really has normal emotions for is her brother, but even that her father is trying to corrupt.

Magical powers/ Physical Abilities: Cecilia is trained with swords to the point where is has become an extension of her arms. Literally. Her father replaced her arm with a robotic one that can transform into a blade. There also have been little rockets implanted into the heels of her feet so she can move faster on the ground and in the air. She has little magical ability. The only magical ability she has is Poison. The poison is flowing through her and she can inflict a poisonous status to her opponent when she hold them for long enough. With enough effort she can also bring this poison to her blade and immediately hurt the opponent with a cut of the blade.

Flaws: Her emotions are the biggest problem for Cecilia. Although she is a skilled fighter, her emotions during the battle often cause trouble. She can't handle her emotions so also can't properly fight. Sometimes the emotions do work in her favor, but most of the time it will not. Because certain parts of her body are robotic material she might malfunction when in contact with a big amount of water (a few drops won't have any effect).

Side: The Mafia (forced)

Bio: Cecilia's youth is exactly like the one of Silas in the beginning. Once her father decided to spend more time with her she and Silas grew apart. She also didn't have much time with her mother anymore, who did always want to spend time with her. Unknowingly she was being controlled by her father, until the point that she couldn't really think for herself anymore. After her mother's death she was devastated and her mind was an open store on a Sunday. Aldric took advantage of that and completely controlled her. While Silas moved away, Cecilia stayed with her father. She was trained in the arts of the sword. However her father only saw her as a puppet who needed to become stronger. So he decided to make a puppet of her.

Her arms and heels were replaced by mechanic parts. Her arm was now an arm that could transform into a blade and her heels were rockets. Cecilia also was to train in magic, but she just couldn't master any magic abilities aside of the Poison ability. This was because deep inside she had a caring nature and actually only was able to learn Life magic. But her father wanted her to learn offensive magic. And the only Energy magic that came close to Life magic was Poison. Currently Cecilia works for her father as one of his soldiers. Begin his most prized one alongside Jack.

Plot is coming along very nice. I think the group in the kart factory will go to the Cola Mountain, so what's the plan for the other group after they found the hive (they already have but yeah...) Because eventually people will notice Belle's absence.

Calhoun nodded interested as Thomas explained that the Heartless came from their game. "Ah, you come from an RPG game. Not many of those around here. But I do wonder why enemies from other games are attracted to this one." Calhoun questioned. Oner afterwards said that he had an idea and suddenly shot a beam of energy straight into the sky. Calhoun already knew that this would not help them in finding the hive, as the hive is filled with eggs and eggs can't react to what Oner just did. Or was it Reno, it stays confusing for everyone. Nothing much happened. "I already thought so." Calhoun said. "We can expect some Cy-Bugs or Heartless here soon, but we got to keep moving." she said.

"S-Sergeant." Felix said and pointed to the hole in the ground in the distance. Two spider-like legs just came out of it, shortly followed by the rest of the creature's body. A large Cy-Bug appeared out of the hole. It had completely merged with the environment of Sugar Rush, almost making it look like it belonged here. His legs were made out of two Pocky, two pretzels and two candy canes each with a chocolate dip and a different topping, white chocolate, peanut and sprinkles respectively. It's backside was a huge waffle cone with chocolate dip tip. One top of the body was a mint chocolate chip ice cream ball with a chocolate topping with hard candy sprinkles on top. The only thing left of the monster to recognize it as a Cy-Bug was it's black beetle face with glowing green eyes.

"Seems like it worked after all. And I now have an idea where the hive might be." Calhoun said. "But first lets kill this thing!" she said and ran towards it with her blaster ready.

"I'll stay here!" Felix shouted as everyone headed off.

Ralph and Ascot successfully managed to sneak into the kart factory. As they joined up with the others of the group, Ralph looked down to Ascot. "Thank you guys so much for helping me. But have you gotten any closer to finding your thing?" Ralph asked. Meanwhile Vanellope was waiting on Ralph and shouted. "C'mon let's hurry! I want to make a kart!" she said excited.

Calhoun and the others were still walking around in the Sugar themed game. Calhoun was getting a bit disgusted by the environment, as she was used to the dark themed first person shooter of which she was part. The change of scenery was nice for a while but she already had enough of it. Everything was candy and as bright as it could be. Along the way they have fought some more Heartless and Cy-Bugs, but it was notable that the Cy-Bugs were becoming candy monsters as the time progressed. Calhoun looked back to the boys, of whom she kinda get the idea that they were her new soldiers in this mission. "Hey! Do any of you guys know what these other dark creatures actually are? I've been wondering that for some time now." she asked.

The Corridor of Darkness opened again on a whole different area. Belle was thrown out by Gula and found herself in a place filled with giant pink cakes. Belle quickly recovered and took her distance from Gula, not wanting to be surprised by her anymore. Belle immediately grabbed her dagger and held it in front of her. Gula also stepped out of the corridor and chuckled as she looked at Belle. "You really think that tiny blade is going to defend you from my attacks?" she said, Belle only looked back with a serious face. Gula took a look around. "Hmm... shall we stay in this sweet theme?" she showed her hand which had a mouth inside of it, as well as in her other hand. The mouths were chewing on something and then blew it out of her hands. A big pink bubble of taffy was blown out and formed a bubble around her hands, acting as giant boxing gloves made out of gum.

"What did you just do?" Belle said somewhat surprised, but still paying attention to everything that might happen. "She is a member of the Six Senses, so that must mean she has one of the senses as powers. Oner told me that Mika had the power of scent and seeing as she just chewed something out of her hands, that must mean that she has the power of taste. And seeing as she also isn't very thin..." she concluded.

Gula laughed once again. "You probably already discovered, right? My power is Gustation." she said with a grin. Without saying or explaining anything further she rushed towards Belle with the hard bubble gum gloves aiming for her. Belle threw one of her daggers towards the bubble, it hit, but the bubble didn't pop. In a hurry Belle quickly grabbed her Kotetsu and blocked the bubble fists of Gula. Both Belle and Gula jumped back immediately. They charged at each other some more times until Gula realized she had to do something else. At this point Belle still was just defending herself and not attacking. She didn't know her abilities so she didn't want to get close. Gula on the other hand knows quite some things about the whole group.

Gula again ran towards Belle but this time punched a few times before she was even close to Belle. She launched gum bubbles at high speed towards Belle, who in turn cartwheeled out of the path from the projectiles. Gula however didn't stop and continued firing them, forcing Belle to continue cartwheeling. Belle quickly discovered the pattern in the firing of the bubbles and dodge rolled into the direction of Gula. Belle jumped into the air and performed Wishing Edge. Unfortunately the attack was blocked again by Gula who held the bubbles in front of the hit. However the attack was strong enough to pop the bubbles. Belle jumped back again and threw a dagger which hit Gula, but didn't inflict that much damage. Gula grew a new bubble, but only on her left hand.

"What are you planning?" Belle asked suspicious. Gula looked back with an irritated look. "Just wait. You know there are more tastes right? I'm only using sweetness now." Gula attacked Belle again, who in turn jumped over her and performed a Thunder Dash, which hit Gula and pushed her back. "Doesn't matter. Almost done." she mumbled. Belle rushed towards her this time wanting to do another Thunder Dash. She did so and again and almost hit Gula, but got slammed away herself by Gula. She used her aerial recovery and landed on the ground. She looked at Gula as a sword slid out of the mouth of her right hand. It looked like a metal sword, but that wasn't quite the case. She noticed that there was something different about it. "What is that?" Belle asked.

"Let me introduce you to my second taste. Saltiness. Salt contains many metals, so it easy to create a sword from it. And it is hard to break." Gula said with a smile. "Seems like this battle won't last very long." with one bubblegum hand and a salt sword, Gula charged at Belle. The thief reached towards her pouch of kunai's and shurikens and saw that there weren't many left. She forgot to restock after the fight in Twilight Town, after the fight with Amaya's father. She threw some of her shurikens and then ran out of Gula's path. Gula stormed at Belle and prevented her from running away by firing gum bubbles in front, and behind her. Belle threw her remaining projectiles to hold Gula off, but they were as effective as last time. She wanted to block with her Kotetsu but it got slammed away. Gula smiled as she approached Belle and smacked her with the bubble gum glove. Belle was thrown to the side against one of the cakes. The overweight woman approached Belle and readied her salty blade. "Seems like the King's warriors aren't that strong after all." she said and slashed at Belle, who shut her eyes and could only pray now.

Belle opened her eyes again, noticing that she hasn't been hit. In front of her was a silver colored keyblade with a tip that looked like a giant shuriken. Belle was really surprised, but so was Gula. Belle however quickly realized that she was in a battle and quickly performed a Thunder Roll to get away from her, while also inflicting some damage on her. Belle jumped on top of one of the cakes, shortly followed by Gula. "I'm not going down so easy." Belle said with a smile showing off her new keyblade.

The Gamers (A Videogame Themed RP) (Reboot)

Genji told Sasha and Silas that at some places, some like school, work and sport would be save. Probably because it is normal for you to be there and because there are often a lot of people around, which would make it somewhat harder to open a pseudospace. Gaia can make it look like they always have been there in some cases, but Silas didn't think it would be the same that if everyone looks at you and disappear that Gaia would fix that too.

Their mentor had a bit of troubles with the concept of an RPG game. Weird though, you would expect that most boys would have played at least one RPG, or at least a game in which you level up to become stronger. "Everything you said is true. We level up with experience points and get new skills." Silas said while leaning against something. Genji then wanted him and Sasha to show what they already could do. Silas had three active abilities: Deflecting Strike, Energy Strike and Chain Attack. It would be the easiest to show his Energy Strike, as he didn't need to have an opponent for that. Silas first opened his inventory by saying the command to open it. Genji then also would know that they could carry stuff with them. Silas grabbed the Bokken for once as his racket mastery was already at a high level.

Like his Squash racket, Silas held the Bokken in his left hand. One would maybe have a better grip and stronger slash when holding it with both hands, but Silas was used to always hold his weapon in his left hand. Which also was his strongest arm. Silas slashed around with it a bit, he still hadn't used the Bokken that much, but he could handle it easily. Silas did a few steps forwards, as there wasn't anything close, who wasn't an ally of him, to hit. He then performed the Energy Strike. He wasted a bit of his MP but that was only 3 out of the 57 so that wouldn't matter too much, he hoped.

The black circle is place we landed.
The yellow circle is where Joshua, Thomas, Reno/Oner, Calhoun & Felix are. Although I miscalculated the location in my head.
The green circle is where Ascot, Amaya, Jake, Ralph & Vanellope are.
The red circle is where Belle and Gula are.
The blue circle is the location of the Cy-Bug hive.
And the purple circle is the location of the sign.
