"Maybe it's because I don't like people following me. And thanks for the complement on the gun. It was a momentous from the only person who really cared for me," she responded. With her other hand Shade reached into her jacket and pulled out the hair pin, putting it in her hair. The hairpin was one she usually wore. Shade just yet to put it on today. Everyone she had met since she started living on the streets would recognize the hairpin. It was an object that made Shade easy to identify.

He then decided to make his presence known to Shade."You must be pretty good to have noticed someone who's been sneaking 'round for a long time. What's your name?" he said.

At the sound of someone's voice behind her she turned, gun in hand. The gun was against Vindle's face.
"Kumo, the spider. That is my name." She told him to answer his question. From where he was Vindle would be able to see that on top of the gun was a carving of a spider. And it wasn't a very cute carving either, it was scary. It's fangs bared, it rage filled eyes, it gave if a look that, if looks could kill, would have.

Vindle caught a glimpse of Shade. Taking one last bite out of the apple, he threw it below which hit Johnny. Vindle then silently snuck towards where he presumed the girl went. he thought.

Shade picked up the presence of someone following her. She still didn't know who it was but she had to be safe. Her hand slipped inside her jacket, curling around the pistol. She felt the spider designs and the name Kumo carved into the gun, before putting her finger on the trigger. She wasn't planning on shooting, but if someone tried to pickpocket her then they got what they deserved. Though it probably only going to be a gun to the head and not a bullet.

I love the fact that the only girls are an assassin and the daughter of a mob leader. Mess with either of them and your on the fast track to the hospital.

Li closed her eyes, her crazy hearing kicked in. Fennec Foxes have good enough hearing that they can hear creature underground, that was what one of Li's textbooks had said. And she guessed that it was true because she could hear everyone of their breaths, including her own. So Li sat regaining her breath, and listening to everyone else's breathing.
