not at all! everyone has a driving force or motivation. If you look at like my character, for all of his skills and bassasery, he has no real motivation. Nothing really drives him so (once we start) he is going to be more lost with out orders to tell him what needs to be done. So even if he is motivated by money it doesn't mean he is a shallow character. In some regards he would have more depth then mine. but it would work well, since we are all sort of mercenaries at this point and we need money and have to get it some how.
