Yeah I've heard about that. and I disagree completely. I would read the comics if they created a character more like Starfire from the tv show.

As Layla came to the entrance of her home, Ashli stood holding a little girls hand. The girl had blonde hair in pigtails, like her mothers, but she shared the same brown eye color as Layla. In her right hand was a small plush version of her spirit Plue. She's so adorable!! Layla ran up to the little girl and hugged her. Nashi giggled and hugged back tighter.
"I wish I had Nashi as a sister Layla, she's so adorable!" Ashkii said, envious of Layla. Nashi stuck her small thumb in her mouth and smiled.
"Lwets plway Lwalya!" Nashi cheered. "Me want to swee swpirits!" Nashi, Ashlkii and Layla made their way back to the dinning hall.
"I wish I had Nashi as a sister Layla, she's so adorable!" Ashkii said, envious of Layla. Nashi stuck her small thumb in her mouth and smiled.

After they finished eating, one of the maids came to the table stating the guests were here.
"Guests? Mom are we expecting people?" Layla asked confused.
"Don't you remember Layla? Ashkii was babysitting your sister Nashi. Everything alright dear?" Her mother asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Wait,Sister? Nashi? I don't have a sister though.." Layla mind was swimming with questions but slowly they all left and she was happy again. "I better go let them in! I'll be right back!" She called and ran to the door. She finally noticed she was wearing a pink dress, a tradition in her family. Her grandmother had wore it and even though her mother had ripped it, seamstresses quickly made a new one.

Everyone ate dinner together and mingled. After some thought, Layla thought it was strange seeing her grandmother here but the thought quickly disappeared. Some part of her knew she was here to have the time of her life. Anyway, she had the twelve gate keys! Her mother had told her legends of the twelve zodiac coming together, but she never thought it would happen, especially not to her. "I must be an extremely powerful celestial wizard mom." She said to Lucy. "You leaned it from me Layla" Lucy grinned at her daughter.
