Pyro, it's fine, was just making sure haha.

Nytefall, Cynric has one eye?

I see 6 ft girls once in a while in the clubs in Manhattan, I'm sure there's one somewhere around in Mirhandia.

Jayda is accepted.

I realize that but, it is more than likely that we could have more coming at any point in time. Plus, our group shouldn't need too many healers considering our size. One is enough. I also consider healers to be practically the same as any other mage.Anyway, quick question. Would it be possible to be both a sapper and a mage with the control over the shadow warren? Considering that a sapper is practically a ranged fighter they wouldn't be in danger quite as often as a Marine of Heavy.

Well, Sappers are still usually in the fray. Crossbows with cussers on them can only go so far. Sharpers/crackers can only be thrown a certain short distance as well.
A sapper can have some warren talent, yes, something very subtle, but I rather they don't.

If we get about twelve or thirteen people I'm guessing I can split it in two.

Good warren practitioners are pretty rare, which is I'm trying to limit the number.
And we have a sapper!

Ana, accepted.
Only comment I have, however, is on Ana's armoured picture as I believe that's a World War 1/2 gas mask.
Cynric, Zyre, Iver, and Merek accepted into the Fifth Echelon.
I got to take care of some stuff now, all these profiles look amazing though. Will check them in depth when I get back.

One thing - Nytefall, lightning is fine but we wouldn't you being able to rip through squads of soldiers and blow holes in walls with your lightning bolts off the bat, eh?

Like I said, as we go along and become more powerful you could reach a point of calling down thunderstorms on battalions, as Tal shrouds them in utter darkness.

How about being able to stun opponents with lightning charges for now? Could be especially dangerous in combat as most fighters use chain mail/plate armor. It can even possibly chain between enemies.
If you would like to make a marine, that's completely fine.

We are, after all, a "Marine regiment." Whose main strength is their versatility, so the squad tends to have a few Heavies in the mix as well in order to stand ground if needed.

Completely up to how you envision your character.
HeySeuss, Enalais, welcome to the beginning of The Dark Company's journey.

Both perfect characters, couldn't have thought of better.

I will edit in the roster of our squad with your characters soon.

Edit: HeySeuss, do you have any nation/part of the world you would like to have been from? Every kingdom/nation/empire has some variation of the city you described.
Edits made to Warrens and added Wind/Air God.
Ok! Edit to previous post.

Fog wouldn't be bordering the Ruse Warren(sea) and the Thyr Warren(light)

It would be bordering the Telas warren(fire) and Ruse Warren.(sea)

I rather separate fire and light.

I'd like to create a mage that specializes in using the natural terrain to his advantage, enhancing it in various fashions to the tactical benefit of the unit, rather than some fireball slinger. If forced to pick a specific single ability, I'd go with either rapid plant growth or the summoning of a fog. If you give me a better sense of the scope of initial abilities, I'll be happy to conform to that standard. ;)Barring physical alteration of the landscape, I'll happily play an illusionist. I can go several ways on this, but the mage I envision is almost an avatar of "By way of Deception, thou shalt wage war." So perhaps an affinity for shadow is pertinent here.

Love the way you're thinking!

Well, the different warrens can be used with different things.

For example, by being a practitioner of the Earth warren, you will be able to transform parts of terrain for your units advantage. That's one handy skill.

Fog - that could be the Warren of Seas, as you will be able to summon water.

Illusionist - That would be a specialization of the Shadow warren.

You can border more than one warren. For example, fog would be the Seas warren, bordering with the Light warren. As you would have to heat up the water to get the fog. And as long as you're just trading on the border of a second warren, not delving completely into it and shooting fireballs, that's fine.

These obviously won't be your limits though, we are just starting off and I would like some character development as our potential and skills increase.

I'm also going to go ahead and name each Warren, so we don't have to say stuff like "Warren of the Seas"
