Groups B and C
There was barely even the time to thank Kapi, when oof!

Moira was so suprised that she brought her fists up - if any of them had landed on their feet she would have probably instinctively punched them. But no, they all landed in a pile on the floor, squashing her partner while they were at it. Well Lucien soon got off Syed, who groaned as he too tried to get up, putting a hand gingerly to his jaw. Ow ow ow ow ow!

Soon Atlas and Dylan were both asking questions, the latter firing them off like a machine gun. Moira blinked a little, somewhat overwhelmed. "Uh... I think we're okay?"

Syed had gotten up again at this point, and was holding out a hand to help Xan up too. "Yeah, yeah we did get them. And no, we're still looking. He's been gone for so long now, it's pretty concerning..."

"...Is anyone hurt?"

Syed immediately stiffened a little as Amy spoke. He was sore thanks to Lucien landing on him, but - "I'm fine, thank you."

"Can yer look at my hand, I kind of picked up a burning Firon," Moira said much like how one would describe how they went to the shops, pulling off her gauntlet and holding her red and swollen fingers out for the cleric to see. "Tah."

"Atlas thinks we need to head up to the seventh floor," Syed explained. "We were going to look around as we go up though, in case Marcus is here or in case there's something we should really know about before going up there or whatever."

"Yeah, we should get a move on." Moira agreed as she stepped forward towards the door. The sooner this was over the better, she was gagging for a drink.

She didn't see the painting behind them with a gloating look on it's face, holding a key in it's hand.
*screams incoherently*
Group B are already on the first second floor as of Fox's post, but depending on what the others decide we can always have a work around.

I'm actually suprised I'm still (joint) second most prolific poster, I've felt I've kinda been flaky lately. Woo? I feel I should say though that I did have a lot of fun in the last section writing with both Kathi and Tae. Even though it was only the three of us since Fox was away we all picked up the slack and bounced off one another and I loved it. I always have fun interacting with Lisette, plus I feel it's given me enough exposure to Aria for my characters to have a good solid opinion on her, which I know was a concern earlier for everyone's characters. So yeah, having loads of fun! *Don thumbs up*

The Tower: Group B
This place immediately seemed wrong.

The noise from outside was shut out completely. Absolutely nothing. Neither did the doors budge. It was like... like they had ceased to exist.

And now they were here, walking down a bending corridor on the second floor. Moira trailed a hand on the wall, partly to look nonchalant but mostly because she was just exhausted. Atlas barely gave them the time to rest, and Moira spent much of the trek up the first set of stairs still coughing and spluttering away.

Syed was hugging himself, looking quite distressed as his eyes darted from one picture to the next. His mind was flicking from one worry to the next so fast that he was struggling to concentrate on any of them. Where the others were, if they were okay or if they were still out there, what this tower was, if he could keep control, the paintings which watched them, what was waiting for them up ahead...

And then there was that horrible energy in the air, which only seemed to strengthen as they climbed higher. A good part of him screamed to get the hell away from it, whatever it was it was no good at all. But then again... he had no idea what else they could do.

He turned his eyes back on Atlas instead. Mostly so he wouldn't have to look at the pictures, which creeped the hell out of him. "How do you know all this, Atlas?" he asked, his tone gentle but manner quite clearly probing. It was as clear as day that he still regarded the Magician with suspicion. "Shouldn't we really check everywhere on the way up? I mean, there's a good chance Marcus might be here too, right?"

"...Shit," Moira grumbled. That was true, they still hadn't found him either. And as much as she was certain Marcus could handle himself better than most, quite a long period of time had elapsed by now with no sign of him. Instead of finding him, they seemed to have just lost everyone else.

She looked back to Lisette and Aria. The problem was... where would they even start? It didn't even look like there was a door in this corridor - just huge hideous creepy paintings, some of which spanned right from the floor to the ceiling. It did look like there was a second flight of stairs up ahead though. "Do... we even have time to look?"
I'm all for daily posting as ever. Tuesday nights are pretty much impossible for me these days, but I can usually manage Wednesday mornings instead (and will make an extra push to do so if I think people are waiting on me, like last night). That's fine when Pach GMs, but it might become a problem in the future in the co-GM chapters, depending on the timezone the co-GM is in and their posting time. And it might be a pain in the arse for everyone else when we get to mine. I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Group B
Moira wore an expression of annoyance, while Syed's was of open horror. The Mother Firon was now scrambling clumsily as it squeezed through the alleyway which was really too small for it, knocking dumpsters and trashcans flying as it went. The younger firon began to howl, some of them buckling down and snarling at them.

"Don't shoot!" Syed exclaimed, diving back forward now the flames had died down to put a hand on Lisette's arm. "It's not your fault, trust m-" he froze, eyes wide. It was right upon them.

The Mother Firon snarled, it's teeth bared, the heat it was emitting immediately overbearing. The space was too small for it to use that vicious tail, but that wasn't to stop it using it's other pointy end. In a flash it snapped towards them both...

Something furry suddenly span through the air past them and the Mother was struck across the face... by one of it's own cubs. It seemed to shock the Mother Firon as much as everyone else, it's teeth stopping mere inches away. "RUN!" Moira bellowed, seizing another Firon by the scruff of it's neck (and swearing when it ignited and burned her) and throwing it towards it's brothers and sisters to get them out of the way. The Mother Firon screamed once more, the heat becoming stronger...

They ran. Stumbling and dizzy from the heat - they ran anyway, as fast as they could. They had to get out of this alleyway, pronto. It looked like there might be an exit right after the scaffolding which clinged to a building up ahead. Wait-!

"Keep back!" Syed shouted out, his hands immediately moving swiftly and precisely. Right on cue vivid flickering arcs of electrical energy began to envelop his body. As soon as they ran under the framework and got to the corner, Syed span on the spot, eyes glowing a vivid yellow and his hair crackling with electricity as he held his hands in the air.

He swiped them out to his sides, and suddenly the columns which held the nearest part of the scaffolding gave way as the steel was electromagnetically pulled apart at the joints. A portion of the scaffolding collapsed with an almighty crash, forming an extremely temporary barrier to buy them some more time.

Syed proceeded to throw up.

Moira's chest heaved as she gasped for all the air she could get. She hated running! She wiped her sweaty brow with her armoured forearm, looking up to the sky...

Only to gape as the massive skeleton loomed over them, sword raised. Oh.
Group B
The group dived into the alleyway not a moment too soon - the murderous house continued to thrash and gnash, it's wires and pipes extending to grab them before they got away...

CRUNCH

Wood splintered and slate smashed as the massive sword cleaved the house right in two, the wires and pipes falling limply to the ground. The skeleton straightened once more, it's eye sockets glowing brightly. Nearby, the Mother Firon had it's nose to the floor.

It had their scent. They couldn't escape.

"I hope you know where we're going!" Syed called breathlessly to Atlas as they ran, although with how the streets were shuffling it probably didn't make much difference. They could no longer see the tower over the towering walls which surrounded them. For all they knew-!

His eyes widened. Was that-? He barely had the time to shout for them to get down, grabbing Lisette and pulling her down with him when a massive column of fire erupted above them, setting every roof of the buildings which surrounded them aflame.

"Shit!" Moira exclaimed. It had caught up again already?! She pushed herself back up, looking back to try and see where the thing was.

Howling. Not from the Mother Firon though. Instead they were coming from in front, and she turned to find a pack of five smaller unlit Firons stalking towards them. Her children. Syed backed off slightly. He could remember fully well how when every Firon was harmed it only enraged the mother further.
Happy birthday you old fart :P
I love the tops too, you look brilliant in them! Where did you get them from?

I need to buy a new... entire wardrobe, lol. But clothes shopping on the high street makes me want to gouge my eyes out I hate it. Online's good, but you never know if it's gonna fit quite right D:
My blood type is one of the few things I do know about myself, although that's only because I've donated blood before. It's A Rh-, and only ~7% of the UK population have that (in contrast to ~35% having A Rh+) so it makes me feel special haha! Idk, this'll probably sound wierd but I've always had an interest in blood and how it works and the genetics behind it. Blame my mum for taking us to blood donor sessions when I was like, five.

And then in some countries you've got that wierdass thing where they associate blood types with personality types. I guess it's only as wierd as associating personality with astrology, but lol I don't get it. I mean, let me get Type A up from the ever reliable source of wikipedia!

"Type A
Best traits: Earnest, creative, sensible, reserved, patient, responsible
Worst traits: Fastidious, overearnest, stubborn, tense"

...oh.
