Moira... was not expecting the hit to be quite that hard. There was a flash of darkness as her idiot partner already started screwing up, then suddenly before she was even aware of what was going on... POW!

Her head snapped back as the powerful uppercut struck under her chin - causing her to lose her balance and fall backwards to the floor. Geez, it was a good thing she was experianced enough to keep her jaw clenched in a fight, else she might be loosing yet another tooth or her tongue or something. Ohhhhhh it had been a while since she had faced an opponent like this - a real hard hitter, an equal.

She rolled out of the way of a second blow, jumping back up to her feet. "Heh..." A large grin spread across her features, although it didn't spread to her wide eyes. "HahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" She staggered a little to one side, before launching herself towards him once more, fists pulled back for another blow. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Not that she cared that it hit anymore - hell as expected he was already moving to dodge it. This was just fun. Plus, he was doing exactly what she needed him to do. He was focusing on her, the most physically powerful member of the group.

But in doing so he had taken his eye off Estelle, the strongest. That was what Moira was counting on.

Syed wasn't entirely sure Lute and Fabian rolling around on the floor was an improvement.

"Amy?" he turned his head to face her. "Could you take over the lighting?" She'd do a better job anyway - she certainly seemed to have a better grasp on her control. Which... wasn't really saying much.

He then stepped forward, the gestures abruptly changing as he ceased one spell and started another. The sword trembled a little on the floor, before being magnetically pulled across the floor and further out of reach.

Syed then dropped his hands to his waist to untie his scarf - the one Trixie had picked out for him. "Sorry, but I think this has gone on long enough," he said with an apologetic smile. "We only need to restrain you, that's all."

Well, Xan changing the shape of her arm was certainly interesting. Jay was fairly curious how she did it - was it a sort of magic, or was the arm some pioneering technology? The world was certainly making leaps and bounds in that way right now, not that he knew much about it.

He bent back, this time just managing to dodge the blow. Just.

"Please, like kids at a place like this even know what hardship is like," he hissed, spinning on the spot to aim another kick - one which Xan managed to block with her arm. The pair were locked together for a moment, each trying to gain the upper hand of strength from the other. "They're rich people, darling. Nothing is a loss to them. Not like you or me."

Suddenly he jumped back, his powerful legs allowing him to go some distance, before running towards the boy. The woman was a skilled fighter, that's for sure. But she was a Guilder. So really, her weakness... would be him.

He reached out to grab Angel in a choke hold...
Sup peeps. Got home not too long ago, threw up a post. Exhausted. Sorry if that came through at all. Sister didn't come with, turns out she injured her back or something idk.

Hope you have fun climbing a mountain in the middle of the night Kathi... what the fuck if someone asked me to do that I would punch them in the face and tell them to fuck off.

And yeah I chatted to Rex first thing, got the class just need to set up a character around it now lmao. I take bloody forever with character creation usually, I think Jay is the first time I've created one quickly since... since I created Marc Syed, lmfao. I'll try my best!

Next thing Jay knew he was getting a good intimate look at the carpet.

He gingerly pushed himself up. Aww dang that headbutt gave him a nosebleed. Blinking against the pain, he looked up... only for the world to seem to slow to standstill as he saw a metal fist heading right for his jaw. He scrambled back, but the blow was just too fast... catching his nose for the second time in about half a minute with an audiable crack.

She'd broken his nose. She had broken his nose! He clutched at his face, staggering back, blood by now absolutely pouring. His poor, beautiful straight nose! "Argh!" he cried out. She sure was frisky. And usually, he would all be for frisky. But this...

"You've gone too far, my dear," he said lowly, his voice once more nasal. He lowered his hands as he got into a fighting stance. He looked very, very upset. "How am I supposed to seduce the ladies with a ruined nose?!" he whined, throwing his arms in the air dramatically like he had been shot or something. "You've ruined everything!"

Forget it. Forget his rule. He leapt forward in the blink of an eye, and was quite suddenly flying through the air with a powerful leg extended, aiming to kick Xan into Angel and send them both flying...

Syed certainly felt the pole collide with his body, causing him to recoil a little, but thanks to Amy's spell it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

He wished it was. Convulsions tore through Fabian's body as he was sent flying back, crashing into Lute. Syed could do nothing but stare in complete and utter dismay. He didn't listen. Of course he didn't listen. Why... why didn't he just drop the defensive spell? Then he wouldn't be hurt. But he was one of the thieves, and he had given him warning. Even if he didn't listen.

The lights began flickering once more as he struggled to keep his emotions - and by extension his control - in check. A couple of times they even went out entirely for a second before he got a hold of himself again. It wasn't like he could pull him away from the danger. Not when the danger was him. Not when he was bound to this spot thanks to his partner. He swallowed, trying his best to calm his shaking hands. Focus. Just...

Was Lute now having a slapping match with him?! Okay. Okay yeah that sure put his mind off his mental dilemma, replacing it instead with the overwhelming desire to slap his forehead. Which one was the kid here? He'd seen six year olds deal with disputes with more maturity than this. He watched them for a moment, that precisely honed stern look quickly developing on his features. It was already starting to get out of hand. Well, they had to stop the thieves, and if this was Lute's... bizarre way of oh hell who was he kidding he wasn't dealing with this.

"Right!" he shouted sternly, stamping his foot to get their attention. "That. Is. It! You're both acting like a pair of kids! You tell us you're not a child, then stop acting like one Mister! And Lute, you should really know better. How is clawing at one another's faces even going to help?! Just... stop and think about what you're both doing! I mean it!"
Bad Girl is a good track too... but not one I'd play on speakers, lmao!

Sorry for wierdly timed post. I was gonna post in the morning as I tend to on a Wednesday, but I've just found out we're visiting my Nana tomorrow (now technically today) so I wouldn't have time. Wish me luck... I think my sister is going too. If I'm the one who ends up dead after the encounter, I'm sorry lmao :P

Jay was getting a little sick of the air mage throwing him about by now, as he landed pretty much perfectly on one of the seats. Shame the speed he was going meant he bounced right off it again, rubbing his backside as he went.

He looked up. Well, maybe he hadn't been that unlucky, that girl with the metal arm was here. He certainly wasn't going to complain about her. He crouched back within the chairs, guaging whether she had seen where he had landed or not. She certainly looked like she knew he was nearby, but she wasn't looking right at him. And the girl who could track people didn't seem to be nearby either. Bingo.

He touched his fingers to his comms to communicate with Frances-chan, whispering as he kept it as short as he could. He just didn't have time to explain. "A lot of them have powerful magics, be careful my dear."

He moved quickly and silently forwards, finally emerging as Xan was looking the other way. He quickly shuffled behind her.

Then he very quickly checked her pockets, his deft, skilled fingers completely undetected. Of course, his skills weren't too much use in a situation like this. Great for disarming people who are unaware, but when everyone's on red-alert and weapons drawn like this? He sure fucked up this one.

There was nothing of any significance there, other than her communications device. Her arm must be her solo weapon then. Great, no hidden suprises. Okay then. Take her down. He removed a drug-soaked cloth from his pocket.

He suddenly seized her prosthetic with one hand from behind, and already had his second hand - cloth in his grasp - moving quickly towards her face. "I'm sorry about this gorgeous..."

"Oof!" Moira was sent flying. She felt her blood begin to boil. She was having one hell of a shitty day and she did not like it in the slightest.

Meanwhile, Syed's face was an absolute picture of suprise and dismay as he found not one, but both thieves leaping for him. The lights flickered for a second. Thankfully his teammates had his back. That didn't stop the kid though, who had... a metal rod?! And looked upset as hell to boot. Seemed he had hit a nerve.

"Nobody's questioning your abilities-" Syed's expression of dismay only became worse. First Nikki, and now this kid! "What are you doing?!" he exclaimed, dodging backwards. There was no way he could keep dodging this though. Not without dropping the spell which kept the lights up at least. That pole was long as heck, and he had a very limited amount of space he was able to move in. But he couldn't... he couldn't let him... "If that thing touches me it'll hurt you!"

Moira meanwhile had her eyes on only one man. Ohhhhh this was IT!

She leapt forward once more, taking advantage of Estelle's attack. This man was fast, he was good. But hell, someone sweeping at your legs would distract almost anyone. She didn't draw her greatsword, for the same reason as Estelle struck with the blunt side of hers. Instead she drew back a fist, focused all her power... then drove it right into the man's side.

"Never take your eyes off the Berserker, arsehole!"
D: Dang. Can you get on any other sites or programs? I'm sure one of us could post it for you if you sent it to one of us?
Your music link reminds me a little of a song my parents play all the time... urgh can't think what it's called bleh. If I think of it I'll say.

Well well well. It seemed they had changed their minds. The blonde in the jacket pulled out what looked like a slate... oh what the hell?! It was him!

Jay was sure it was the dark haired and clothed girl who had created the cage. But it was definately him. Hell, as the giant battering ram was conjured into existance, his own cage began to flicker and fade. Well, with magics as powerful as that, he was not suprised in the slightest to see he had already hit his limit.

No time to think.

He grabbed hold of the top of the cage and began to swing, kicking at the sides. He could feel them giving away when they felt completely solid before. One, two, three... BAM!

The cage broke open, and Jay wasted no time in leaping out of the horrible thing. It felt like he had spent far too long in there! His eyes flicked this way and that, considering the next plan of action...

When he suddenly became aware of the blue haired slightly murderous man swinging at him. "Dang!" he hissed, dropping back into an unarmed fighting stance of his own. He was at a disadvantage, with everyone aware of where he was and no magic to fall back upon. Must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. Still, he caught sight of something... something familiar. He smirked, putting his hands up. "What's two attractive guys like us gotta fight for, eh?" he stalled...

The Academy of the Arts - Northern Sector (Outside Hall)
Being quite slow, Moira and Syed were overtaken by Trixie and Lute. But it was no problem, as they turned the corner, huffing and puffing, to find Estelle standing angrily over the thief pair.

"IT'S ROUND TWO, MOTHERFUCKER!" Moira screamed, fists clenched at her sides. "Who you gonna save your pathetic shit this time, the little brat?!"

Syed simply glowered at them. "I can't believe you dragged a child into this!" he shouted abeit without the volume of his partner, turning on the spot as he began to gesture. Electricity began to spark across his body, a small measure of self-defence should he be suprised again. But mostly...

The lights outside the theatre lit up. He was powering them himself, his hands moving all the while. Let's see them hide when there's no darkness to hide in. He gave a quick look to Moira, a signal he was ready to move.

Moira glanced towards Lute. "Do what you do best, kid," she growled, before giving a brief nod to Estelle. And with that she leapt forward, aiming to grab the big man's arm and pull it back to restrain him quickly.

Ah. If there was one thing you could always count on the boss being able to do, it was make a grand entrance. He turned the practice into a fine art.

Heh. How ironic.

He chose to say nothing, instead simply glancing around at the others in the room. They all seemed to be giving up, which... well, he wasn't expecting. He always thought Guilders were stubborn and hard-headed and self-rightious... his ex-wife certainly was. Was the boss' plan just that good?

Whatever. "Hey, boss," he waved a little sheepishly from his cage. "Sorry I got caught out."

???

"Can you... huff... track him? With your radar thing?"

"...If he's close enough, yeah. Whatever his... his trick is, it doesn't affect my magic."

"...Good. I... hack... I need you to be my eyes and ears then."

Moira and Syed sprinted down right after the thief pair, huffing and puffing as the air tore at their lungs. Moira especially wasn't in a particularly good state, staggering on occassion as she ran after them. Amy's last spell had done the trick, just about. But the cuts from the glass stung, her ankle hurt like hell, and her skin under her armour burned a little. However.

She was not going to let them go again. Especially not the big man. He had pissed her off personally. A pathetic, snivelling coward. The worst kind of person. And since he had the brat on his back, it meant she could see where he was just fine. It would have been nice if Syed would just shoot them down, but thanks to the brat he was refusing. Fantastic.

She didn't care. She was going to stop them. Even if it meant destroying the building around them to do so. She was not going to allow them to get what they wanted.

Fuck them all.

"Where the fuck do you think you're going, you piece of shit?!"
I can't really contribute to this convo lmao, this is the only major RP I've been in (believe it or not I'm not someone who enjoys RPing normally, Tales is just an exception to the rule) and I haven't played enough chars to pick a favourite. Even including the minors though, Tales has them all beat in both categories. All three of them. Two of which had characters I've carried over to Tales in anyway.

Eh.
