The first few eps are probably the weakest in series, imo. The best thing about avatar imo is how the characters bounce off one another, so when they're still being introed it isn't going to be at it's best. All of the characters are multi-dimensional from the start though. Even Zuko is showing several sides to him which you only really can appreciate when you've already watched the series before.

Sokka is easily my second favourite in the entire series. I wouldn't call him powerless though. Without bending sure, which yeah does make him an underdog in this world, but not powerless. He's just a great guy.

And yeah I got the same box-set as Pach did, and it's got the same quality issues. Looks like it's a duff release :[

I can't stop laughing at the waving bear Pandy posted every time I see it hahahahaha

Los Pasaisos: Pellagio Hotel - Moira and Syed's room
She missed the keyhole a couple of times in her fuzzy-minded state, but Moira managed it in the end. Thankfully once she turned the key that awful banging against the door stopped. She gave herself a second to rest her poor, hurting forehead against the door. Okay? Okay.

With that, she wrenched the door open that fast that it sent air buffetting back into the room.

Yep, it was Lucien and Dylan, although the former went beetroot and quickly hid behind the latter.

She put her hands on her hips, staring coldly at the two men stood before her in all her bare, hungover glory. Her pale, somewhat sunburnt skin was covered in scars both old and new, a very visible reminder of her many years working for the Guild. She had one hell of a bed-head, although that was most likely due to sleeping in the same bed as Mr Static over there. Damn, she needed to put her heels on. She felt tiny here.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS IT?!" she roared, fixing the both of them with her piercing gaze. There had better be a fucking fire else she'd be pissed! Her shouting made her own head feel like someone was constantly doing drumming practice with a sledgehammer on her skull, but she was never the sort to take that into account. "Argh, fuck! Shouldn't have done that... aaaaaand you two look like shit. Ha! 'Bout time!"

Welp, anger forgotten.

Syed meanwhile positioned himself just behind the door so he was out of sight. He was in no real state to be seeing anyone right now, although he knew he didn't really have much choice in the matter here. The least he could do was at least give the appearance of not being an absolute wreck, for the others' sakes. Especially for Lisette, who looked such a mess that he could only guess they must have roped her along at some point. Hooo boy, that mustn't have been pleasant for her. Especially if she was there... He rubbed his face one more time, partly to make sure and partly to try and clear his head. Damnit. He needed a shave.

"You ok?" he whispered to the archer, still not all that willing to bring attention to himself. He glanced over to the bathroom once more, hugging himself again without realising what he was doing.

"Actually..." Moira thought aloud, frowning a little. She readjusted her bra in the process, without a care in the world. "Either of you know what the time is?"
Good morning everyone! How is everyone today?

I've uh, edited my post. It's only a line, but I guess the fact that I saw Danni's post last night but not Tae's says it all. Luckily yeah, it was only a one line edit. I was expecting to have to rewrite lmao, although that'd serve me right really. When I was on my phone and I realised I have never gotten out of bed so fast in my life.

From now on I need to scroll up and make sure the last post isn't the only post uuuuuuuurgh I miss the stalker wall the old forum had *dissapears into the shadows in shame*
Blargh Buns is an idiot the musical sorry just editing out something woop woop woop

P.S. Sy right now is probably pretty resistant to hugs :P Puns though...

Los Paraisos: Pellagio Hotel - Moira and Syed's room
Syed didn't say anything else as Amy left. Neither did Moira's throwing up and following exclamation really register for him. He was so overwhelmed by pretty much everything that he just felt numb.

Instead, he reached down and grabbed the nearest pair of trousers he could find (luckily, his build made it fairly evident which were his) and stumbled and fell into a wall as he tried to pull them on. As much as he felt he needed a shower, right now he just wanted to cover himself up a bit. Feel less exposed. Then, still without a word, he rubbed at his face again with a sniff and began rooting through the draws in the bedside cabinets and tables.

Meanwhile Moira groaned, pressing a hand against her forehead in an attempt to sooth her banging head.

"I don't feel so good..."

"You and me both, kid," Moira grumbled, "I feel like death.". After a couple of seconds however she seemed to suddenly have an ephiphany. "Eyyyyyy, you don't normally drink, right? Congrats!" She suddenly grinned and slapped the poor girl on the back. Probably not the best move. "Must have been a good night, I don't remember a thing!"

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!

Oh what the fuck?!

“Guys are you in there? It’s Dylan and Lucy!”

"UUUUUUUURGH!" Moira groaned. Every time they banged on the door, it felt like her brain was trying to excecute a backwards triple spin pike dive out of her skull.

"Don't answer it."

She turned to see her partner. Fucking hell he looked like an absolute state. Waking up not remembering the night before wasn't that bad. Nothing to start bawling your eyes out at, that was for sure. "Why not?"

He opened his mouth, his eyes darting from Moira to Lisette (with some alarm at the sight of the archer) then back again. Whatever he was going to say, he didn't seem able to vocalise it. Instead he seemed to get himself upset again, shrinking back a little before quickly turning back to the chest of drawers he was sifting through. His knuckles paled as he clenched at the handle.

Moira was just confused. She fished around in her bra, pulling out a key which was big enough that it must have been bloody uncomfortable sleeping with it. No wonder she instantly knew where it was. "It'll stop them trying to fuckin' break the door down."

She didn't even care that she was still only in her undies.
Fox you have no idea how happy I am to hear that hahahahahahaha! I've been aiming for feels, so YES MISSION ACCOMPLISHED :D :D :D *dances around the room for like, an hour*

I've been adoring everybody's scenes. Don and Selan are hilarious all around and I can't stop laughing at the thought of where the hell did they get a baby??? Dylan and Lucien are adorably awkward. Dylan is a pretty guy, what can I say. I don't blame Lucien hahahaha! Thunderhawk and Aria and Xan oh my god. I can't. This scene I fucking can't. Naked guy and girl dressed in dude's clothing and the saddest clown why why do you do this :P

Los Paraisos: Pellagio hotel - Moira and Syed's room
There were no assurances, no words of comfort. Nothing at all. Did that mean they did? That had to mean they did, right?

The arcs of electricity grew, jumping from him and travelling across the walls, across the ceilings. "No, no we can't, we can't..." he whispered, becoming more and more frantic by the second. "I never would have..." His mind span and span and span, not stopping for even a second. He wanted to have a shower, to scrub and scrub and scrub until he could actually feel clean. He wanted to be sick. He felt the need to just purge himself somehow, as much as he knew it wouldn't help. With his bond to Moira, and her still being asleep, he could do neither.

Amy still looked scared, she still looked so scared. He wanted to try and say something to calm her down, but how could he do that when he was just as panicky himself? How could he do that when he wouldn't believe his own words?

He felt cold, he felt invaded right through to his core, but seeing her reactions - seeing her wrestling frantically with the door - she looked even worse than he felt. She looked desperate, she looked horrified, she looked vunerable. Had he done that to her? He fell to his knees, hugging himself tightly. He must have, he must have. But it made no sense to him, none at all. How could he do something so completely against who he was? Tears finally began to streak down his face. He didn't understand. He couldn't understand.

"I'm - I'm done. I don't want to play guilder anymore. I'm done. This isn't fun anymore. Where's Trixie. I'm done. I can't do this anymore. I'm done, I'm done with this, I'm done."

He looked up again slowly with reddened eyes. He didn't blame her for wanting to leave. He certainly did. Although right now she needed something to assure her - more than probably any time he had known her before. He swallowed. He only just realised quite how dry his throat was.

"Y-yeah. Yeah, this kind of stuff is never on the pamphlet."

Idiot! Idiot! How is joking supposed to help?

"I-I mean, I mean I never wanted to sign up anyway, but it's not like I had any choice," he added hurriedly. Wait, how was that supposed to help either?! If Moira were awake she'd be punching him out by now. "What am I doing, you don't want to hear this now, what am I doing... I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..."

Breathe. Just breathe. Calm down now, before you bloody set the place alight. He scrunched his eyes shut, sniffling. Just breathe. Just. Breathe.

The arcs of electricity slowly began to die down, the rattling and buzzing which filled the room quietening to nothing. He was in no fit state to try and calm her down, so don't even try. Just don't.

"I'm sure Trixie's fine," he said finally, sparking up a little but nowhere near the degree he was a moment ago. Well... he hoped she was fine. He was still shaking all over, he still felt disgusting and terrible and his voice still cracked. But the less he thought about that the better. "The door's probably locked, Moira's really d-defensive about her stuff. She never leaves doors unlocked ever." He absent-mindedly attempted and failed to remove the ring again, before he caught himself. He wiped at his face to try and dry it. "If... if you want, I could look for the key while you use the bathroom," he offered, averting his eyes towards one of the piles of clothes on the floor. "Save you going out there like that..."

"NNNNNNNNNNRGH!" Moira groaned, as good timing as ever. What the hell was with all these lights and this noise and the odd movements under the bed? Everything hurt. She knew hangovers as well as the back of her hand, but this one was probably a medal winner. "Fuckin' hell..."

She slowly sat up, but even then the movement was a bit too much for her. Bile quickly rose in her throat, and the next thing she knew she was leaning over the bed ejecting her stomach contents onto the floor. Uuuuuuuurgh this was a bad one, this was a really bad one.

Wait a minute.

"What the hell are you doing under there?!" she exclaimed, shuffling a little to finally release the archer trapped beneath.
That's fine by me, I can wait! I know it'll be worth it :) Character trauma for everyone!

And lmao @ me and Danni's freaky esp thing we got going on

I'm loving this so much too, I ended up laughing so hard at so many of these posts lmao

Los Paraisos: Pellagio Hotel - Moira and Syed's room
He expected anger. He expected to be hit, maybe once, maybe many times. But what he didn't expect was... this.

Sure, there was anger in her eyes. Of course there was. But it was secondary to fear. She looked scared out of her mind, wide eyed, shaking and tense, like a feral cat trapped in a cage. Staring at him with her mascara stained face like he was a monster.

He didn't really have time to react, although he wouldn't have really known what to do if he did. All he could really do was stare wide-eyed back, becoming somewhat frightened by her reaction. He wasn't expecting this. He wasn't expecting this at all. Last time he saw her this upset was back at Vandrell...

Once she had finally stopped scrambling, having armed herself with her whip, he very slowly raised his hands above his head. "I can't," he said slowly in response to her repeated demand, but in all honesty it was pretty much a summary of everything right now. Carefully, he stepped off the bed while facing her all the while, backing off as far as he could away from her before his bond to Moira stopped him. "This is as far as I can go Amy, you know that."

His hands were shaking too, a couple of sparks arcing from his fingertips as his mind whirled on. She looked terrified... terrified of him. He couldn't bear it. Please don't look like that, please! He didn't understand why, what did he do? He couldn't remember a thing, not one damn thing. What the hell could he have done to suddenly get a reaction as extreme as this?! "What happened...?" he muttered, his eyes darting around for something. Anything! "What happened? I don't... I don't understand..."

Suddenly he spotted the piece of paper pinned to the wall. He took a couple of steps towards it - keeping his hands above his head the entire time in an attempt to try and not alarm an already jumpy Amy - before he suddenly froze. He could read it from here just about, and it made his blood run cold.

This is to certify that Amaranth and Syed Dyjani were united in marriage...

If this were any other circumstance, he would be interested to discover what was presumably her real name. But now...

Marriage. As much as the rings were a dead giveaway, it was only reading the certificate in cold dry ink which hammered the point home. But right now, he wasn't particularly concerned by that. Instead his mind finally leapt to the implications. After getting married didn't people... did she think they... you know?

The trembling spread from his hands, travelling down his entire body. He almost looked like he was shivering, but it was far too warm for that.

Did they? He didn't remember sure, but he wouldn't. He just wouldn't. There was a lot of random games scattered across the floor, so maybe they just did those?

He looked down. He was wearing his boxers sure, but that was it. What... what if they did? Amy was covering herself completely, so...

He suddenly felt disgusting. Filthy and disgusting and wrong and like he was going to throw up. The thought... it horrified him. Suddenly, her reaction seemed a lot less extreme. Maybe he was a monster. He certainly felt like one now.

He choked down a sob of his own, great electrical arcs beginning to form around his body. Spinning and flashing and whipping at his hair and causing a light show of his own to rival her blindingly bright whip. Small pieces of metal scattered across the room - such as jewellry, equipment, even his pendant which he as always wore around his neck - began to rattle and shake. No, no, he'd never... right? He never wanted to. He could never really relate to the comments his friends would make in college. His one past girlfriend split up with him over it. It was just how he always was, so why would he do something like this now? Even if he were drunk, it wouldn't change his sexuality... right?

He brought his arms around himself tightly and hunched himself down a little, his vision blurring with tears. "N... nothing happened, right?" he asked desperately, his voice cracking. "Please... please say I'm just being paranoid again... please..."

"Urgh... pack it in..." Moira groaned sleepily, rolling over to her front and burrowing her face into the pillow. What the fuck was with all these pissing lights?!
