Sorry guys xD We switched internet providers and our wifi was super janky. Now all is well and I will be posting shortly xD
We need more IC posts! I am loving this so far :D
"Hey, Tollnak. This is kinda out of the blue, but what would you say to me trying to repair your eyes once I've gotten a bit better with my mutation?"

Tollank had no idea what to say. He had never had sight, nor had the thought of the possibility of ever gaining it. With his sonar he was able to see things that he felt people with sight would never pick up. Tollank never missed slight change in body language, and hitting him in a fight was damn near impossible. But he was sure that there were things he missed, he would never know the color of his mother's eyes, never see the color of a dress that a woman painstakingly had chosen for a date. Tollank loved rain, the sound of drop constantly hitting the ground gave him what he felt like was the closest to true sight, but he had never actually seen the rain. On the other hand he had never had anyone offer anything of the magnitude to him, such a sheer act of selflessness.

"I....I.....I have no idea what to say Leon. Don't take this the wrong way, I have never had anyone offer anything like that, but what if sight is too much?" Tollank shifted in his seat so that he completely faced Leon. "What if on top of all of this sonar information my brain can't handle having action sight? What if my mutation stemmed from having a part of my brain free, or worse what if I lost my mutation?" Tollank prayed that he hadn't offended Leon, as Tollank was quickly considering him a friend. Suddenly Tollank felt the train shift beneath him, and lurch causing a shockwave that allowed Tollank another complete view of the holocar. He saw a couple of people seated near the door, and assumed one of them must of been the friend that Leon was talking about. "If you need to go see him I completely understand dude, I will stay here and keep Aeria company!"
Tollank smelled Vanilla before the felt the breeze, a gentle ebb that flowed over his body. The breeze rustled through the holocar, kicking up dust and moving a couple of scraps of paper. Almost like a sonar, Tollank was able to see along with the breeze. He could see the last few people filing in and taking their seats, some were choosing to stand, leaning against the support poles the dotted the center of the holocar.

Tollank was practically beaming. "Wow. That was awesome. Thank you so much Aeria, and if I may say that Vanilla scent was beautiful." He could see the girl cross her arms and look away, he hoped that he hadn't overstepped any boundaries. Tollank turned to face Leon, "That was a great idea man, and thanks for thinking so highly of my gifts. I am super appreciative of them, but sometimes its easy to forget when you are surrounded by people who can do almost anything. Its nice to hear someone else remind me for a change." Suddenly Tollank felt a slight change in Leon's demeanor, his cheek sank in a slight amount, Tollank assumed he was biting it. "Is everything okay Bowtie?", Tollank asked concerned for his newfound friend.
"No, nor have I heard any stories of things like this. Perhaps its not the works of the gods yet. Perhaps just another creature that has been displaced because of their meddling." Kawaru looked down at the scale. It was flawless, not a singe scratch to mar its slick surface. It didn't appear to be sharp, meaning that the only way it could have been embedded into the tree was by the sheer speed that the creature was moving, or by its massive girth. "Either way I agree that its a safe idea to make sure the villagers stay close, hopefully the scouts return soon with some news."

Kawaru had just finished speaking when a cry rang through the hall. "Hey you lot, it's chow tim... What's with the long faces?" He recognized the call as the voice of Nonna, the cook. Kawaru looked up to see the young lady approach him and Garoth. She had only recently joined the Guardians, and Kawaru could still remember the night that the village became acutely aware what powers she possessed. No harm was done though, and it sure kept his father busy for a while. She proved herself loyal to the town, and more importantly she was a AMAZING cook. Kawaru clasped the pair on their shoulders, "Well there is no use fretting over all this on an empty stomach, and I am sure at this time of the month the food will be something special!", he began to lead the two towards the mess hall.
Sorry xD I didn't mean for it to be so jumbley :p
Tollank shot a large smile at the two other people that he currently shared the holocar with, "Leon, Aeria, its a pleasure to meet the both of you! You are absolutely correct Aeria, I am Tollank." He really enjoyed the company of these two, unlike the mass of people outside they seemed at least comfortable with the whole situation. "I am really sorry if I interrupted anything, I saw Leon earlier and I was quick to latch on to a familiar face." Tollank softly tapped his foot against the ground. There were not nearly as many people in here, and he found himself reverting to the old habit of making small sounds in order to "see". "My mutations are not as nearly outwardly helpful as your guys. Controlling the wind must be awesome, and having the ability to heal people is far more helpful than mine. Don't think I am not thankful though, if it wasn't these I mostly likely would be nothing more than a beggar back home," Tollank snaps his fingers on his natural arm, " I can see through soundwaves, I get outlines and shapes. The more noise the finer the detail. with all the people back there I might as well have had functioning eyes. I can see you have a bowtie Leon, but I couldn't tell you if it was black, white, or has polka dots." Tollank looked down at his cybernetic arm. He could feel the frequency they it was emitting, all electronics do it. In time he learned to match these, and eventually could control the simple ones. He held out his artificial arm, "I can match my brainwaves to the frequencies of simple machines, and control them. Doctors said when they grafted this on there was only so much medicine could do. I would be able to lift a bit, maybe twitch a finger with enough time and practice, but fine motor skills would be forever out of my grasp. No pun intended." He returned his gaze upwards towards his new companions, "My mutations don't really help other people so much, but they sure have changed my quality of life for the better."
*shudders with anticipation* The IC is up....it has begun
Kawaru was standing in a large crowd, watching a heated game of chess go on between Kelrod and Mia. Kelrod had been playing skillfully, with a defensive strategy that Kawaru himself liked to mimic when he dabbled in the game of wits. However Mia was a juggernaut, willing to sacrifice her own pieces to achieve small gains. At first it seemed reckless, almost without thought, then suddenly Mia had the obvious upper hand. Victory came swift for her, almost as swift as the look of defeat that appeared on Kelrod's face. Kawaru joined the crowd in a whoop for Mia's victory. He was about to sit down and ask Kelrod if he was in the mood for another game when Garoth called for the rooms attention. Even though Kawaru was a few yeas older than Garoth he respected him more than most, and was honored to know such a fine man.

What Kawaru heard stunned him. Had the gods finally set their sights on the village, or was this some unknown threat? Either way it did not seem good. He had heard stories of the terrible creatures that the gods were capable of dreaming up, and it took dozens of well armed men to take them down. The village barely had enough arms to supply the Guardians, let alone form a militia with the townsfolk. No. Kawaru visibly shook his head to chase away the doubts. The Guardians could handle this, together.
Thank you Marx XD I really appreciate the use of "4" instead of for and the y in life xD The only way that would have been any better is if it appeared in a hashtag like #Ellexkir4Lyfe
And that makes sense, and I will post once you post.
