Hey, Meta. It's IMPOSSIBLE to do magic with soul protect one, which means Zyrik has to have it off. The closes in the Anime to magic done with soul protect on was Medusa and her snakes, which only worked because she was so powerful that her magic lasted even when her soul protect on, but even SHE could not use magic at that time, she was just relying on previously casted spells.
