Always that one guy who makes me regret everything with simply their character app.
Mayt pushes against the three, literally disarming the king before dispatching him, then the bishop, then simply decapitating the queen. Once he's done with them, he stands there panting for a few moments before charging the person trying to let the other ninja out. He would try to tackle her, aiming to bring her down to the ground and pin her, possibly with his sword if she proved too much trouble. He would kick, punch, and slice to get her down, and hold her there. Refusing to give in, and knowing if he defeated her, Sasha would be alright.
Mayt jumped out of the way of the King, grunted, and pressed against him, forcing him back against the bishop and the queen, and then keeping the pressure up, pushing as hard as he can to finish all three of them. Slicing, hacking, and fighting more akin to an animal to a man. He would obviously withstand light injuries in this encounter, but anything that could end up being fatal he stops, and uses the now awkward position of his enemy against them. Also using the injured state of the queen and distracted state of the bishop. He was going to win this fight. As each strike nears or hits his opponents, he draws as much heat as he can from their bodies, further weakening them.
Sorry about slow posting, I get distracted easily and I've been playing console games recently, which reside in a different room than my computer at the moment.
Mayt had spent this time locked in combat with the swordsman, stopping his every attack, and unable to land a good blow. He didn't notice when Sasha was being ganged up on, noticing would lead to thinking about it which would distract him. Getting him injured or worse. He would work on forcing the King to take a bad position, though he knew someone this skilled would never, and Mayt knew he would ultimately lose. What was saving him now was his magic, not his skill at his sword. He did notice when Sasha was next to him, but didn't quiet know why until he managed to force the King to back off for a moment, and looking up.

Mayt, seeing the woman jumping at Sasha, beat her there, taking a few running steps and jumping, blade heated to the max he dared, and sliced at the queen, aiming to either remove her leg or through her stomach. In a moment of cleverness, he stopped the queens movement, reflecting it onto itself and forcing her to fall to the ground, right to Mayt. He began striking out at her, aiming to kill, and getting closer with every strike. They. Will. Not. Hurt. Sasha. Were the words that ran through his mind as he viciously swung at the queen, moving towards her with each slice.
Okay well, Missed BlackCat's post originally, so had to go back and edit it, fun. Now my post should fit, and be react-to-able. (On a side note. RP GUILD! Y U NO HAVE THUMBS UP SMILEY!)
Mayt moved in front of Sasha, holding his sword out at the new attacker, keeping the edge of the blade hot. He let out a long breath, then lowered himself into a stance to strike, sword out in front of him. He waited a moment, before kicking off to the side, and using his magic to redirect his movement towards the one in front of him, striking at her side with the blunt of the blade, then forcing himself down and pushing off the ground back towards Sasha. The strike was mostly experimental, seeing how she would react to a person who could change their motion in mid-air. But he couldn't give her too long.

Mayt launched another attack, charging then dropping down, attempting to slide her feet out from under her and grabbing with his free left hand at an ankle, hoping that, even if she jumped out of the way, he could grab her and bring her down. Should the motion succeed, he would immediately let go and quickly push to his feet, rotating to face his opponent, and attempting to put a foot on their chest. Should he fail, he simply pushes himself to his feet and readies himself for the next strike. He was going to make sure no one was going to die. And if anyone was, that it would be the ninja.
Gah, posted in the wrong place.
Mayt quickly moves over next to Sasha, drawing his Katana and putting all the heat he can into the blade. He waits for the ninja to make his move before doing anything, hoping that her abilities would be enough, but doubting it. "Okay, this is good, he's down, for now. Should I try to transfer some of my magic over to you?" He looks at her for a second, then looks back at the person they're supposed to fighting. "Nevermind, no time, I'll try to circle around. Distract him, talk to him, find out what he wants. Hopefully we won't have to kill him." Mayt ducks back into the woods, then quickly runs around the radius of 'Ice floor'.

Mayt keeps an eye on his surroundings as he quickly moves, sword tucked close at hand. Once he's made his way around the 'Ice Floor' he approaches the supposed ninja from behind, sword raised. He closes his eyes for a few seconds at the edge of the ice, before moving slowly onto it, focusing so as to maximize the chance he can stop anything thrown at him, well, almost anything at least. Mayt would attempt to move close to the man and grab him in attempt to drain his magic from him, but not if he makes any move to threaten him at all. Keeping his sword hot and ready to strike.
Mayt smiles and chuckles. "I can only imagine how much we'd get paid if we fixed that problem. Not just us, I mean like, go back to the guild at a later time and get more people, we could make a killing." He chuckles at the bad pun, and winks at Sasha. "But as for now, yeah, keep an eye out for the murder guild." He lets out a long sigh, letting go of Sasha's hand when she made to draw the plant. That was a good idea, instead of just having to go by look or flip through the book for every foot-high shrub they came across. That would get tedious fast, and very very boring. "And keep away from main paths." He added as an afterthought, motioning that they should go ahead and go off path here."

"Actually, how likely do you think this herb will actually cure the townspeople? And I still don't git why there isn't some gardener or herbalist somewhere in the city who grows a bunch of rare plants. My old town did that. Weather they were useful medically, pretty, or food. Mostly pretty. Flowers and such, you know?" He smiles, and looks up at the sky, trying to determine the time. And he was beginning to wish already that he hadn't eaten all of his sandwich, but he pushed that thought out of his mind and began looking around for ninjas and plants. Keeping a hand on his weapon at all times.
