You know, Damian and Lazarus are supposed to fight...Angelo will fight whoever wins Scier's and Wes's match.

.... I'll just go with Mayt doesn't know/remember that detail, because I failed to remember it as well.
Mayt groaned and sighed, sitting up. "Fine. We're at the Guild, I'm Mayt, I never quite caught your name. Today we've been doing a tournament to determine two S-Class wizards, talk talk talk talk talk talk." He paused for a moment. "Right now I feel kind of tired, and I kinda want to fight Angelo. Since I know he thinks he's better than he is, and his easy win with Sasha would've merely reinforced this fantasy. But I'll probably not get picked to fight him, as he and Lazarus have both won. So they'll go up against each other, and Angelo will most likely lose. Lazarus has some sort of emotional investment in Sasha, so he'll fight harder to try and make her feel better about losing. Not to mention Angelo's lightning only works if he can aim it properly at the target. Lazarus is fast." He looks at Jarvis with a bored expression, suggesting 'are we done yet'?
Mayt headed to no particular spot on the bar and asked for a drink. He had told Sasha his head felt fine, if it did hurt a bit. He gave her a thumbs up as she went off to talk to Lazarus. His thoughts wandered. He didn't have anyone in particular to talk to, or anything to say. He already had plans for almost the next week, most of that.would be resting and hanging about the guild of course. He leaned back in his chair, hoping a little bit he might end up fighting Angelo. But since he had a win and Mayt didn't, that was an unlikely matchup. He just yawns and sighs, waiting for his drink patiently. He eventually leans on the counter and puts his head down, feeling oddly tired, and closes his eyes, letting out soft little breaths.
Mayt nods to Damian. "I know, my original plan was to go today, but that's not possible anymore. By the looks of it we'll have to go next week. Also, Damian, I would quite enjoy if you could teach me how to use my sword better. I could be called a hobbyist at best in my swordsmanship without magic. So, that could be good, would that be okay with you?" He let go of Sasha's hand and sat all the way up, looking over at Damian. The hit on his head seems to have actually made him a good bit friendlier, but he has an odd glint in his eye. "And I don't like having to rely solely on my magic." He gives Sasha a smile. "So long as we go easy at first so my head doesn't get worse."
Mayt sighed. "The more people, the more likely it is to bring trouble down on our heads. And Lazarus isn't exactly subtle, and neither are his abilities. Ice isn't as much, but your abilities are good at protecting both of us." He sighs again, obviously trying not to just outright say what he planned. "But if he can be silent, not bright, and walk without making too much sound, fine." He leaned back, and smiled. "He is a damn good fighter, and can fly pretty fast. So, he may be helpful." He sighs, and decides to let out, and he leans towards Sasha a little. "I'm planning to scout out that dark guild near the City Without Sound. You could provide good backup, and so could Lazarus. Which is why I was asking about communications to the guild earlier. I was originally planning to go alone, but after that knock on the head, I don't trust myself to not suddenly get dizzy and collapse into a crowd of ninjas. That wouldn't be very good." He paused, and pushed his mouth all to one side of his face, then back to normal. "You still in?"
Out of curiosity, is individual magic a thing? Like, are there non-mechanical magi in this world, even if they're just weak ones. Would help simplify something I have.

Edit: Also, updated the country info post so it can be discussed more.
Mayt sat back on his heels and nodded to Damian, and gave a meek smile to Sasha. "Guess we both got knocked around in our fights, eh? I wonder who my next one will be against, if I get to do another." He holds himself up on one hand as he moves into a cross-legged position. "But, I mean, if I go into another fight, I may not be able to concentrate well enough." He rubs his cheek. "Angelo isn't that bad, from what I've seen so far, he certainly should be one of the people for S rank." He was just talking, not entirely sure what was coming through his mouth, to distract Sasha from her injuries. "Seems though, you've been unlucky in your matches so far. But, what I don't see, is how lightning beat Ice so easily. Water has an affinity with electricity, sure, but not Ice. He must've thrown a lot of energy into those bolts to shatter your ice so easily." He chuckles. "I still find how you people declare what you're doing funny. Even if it makes it more powerful." He gently takes Sasha's hand, and squeezes it.

"Once my head is feeling better, and some of your cuts heal, I want you to accompany me on something. Shouldn't be too big, but it does have the potential to be dangerous and taxing." Mayt looks up at the two about to duel, he knew neither of their magics, and so couldn't guess a winner simply by magic types alone. He shook his head, figuring it's better not to guess the winner simply by areas of control. In theory, Mayt could easily beat Angelo simply by holding any lightning he throws at him in his sword, then get in close and use it against him. Mayt thought about that for a moment, and shook his head. Him ending up against Angelo was a slim chance, and he doubted his magic would be as reliable as it was in that first match a second or third time. "But it also may lead to a good bit of trouble for the guild."
Mayt heard Jarvis call for Damian's help, and was curious. He stood up slowly and followed. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Sasha. He closed his eyes for a moment, then came over. "Is there any way I can help?" He slid to his knees next to Damian, only partially of his own choice. "I can keep her warm. I could... Cauterize the injury." He wanted to make sure she'd be aright, and he looked over the other two, then up at Angelo, his eyes showing anger, and he mutters a promise to himself, so quiet only he can hear it, he then turns to Sasha. He started gathering heat around him from various sources. Other than Damian and Sasha of course.
One thing I'd like to ask, Jangel, could you pretty pretty please use periods and commas? When I read your posts I feel like I'm listening to someone who talks a mile a minute due to the lack of breaks.
Mayt sighs. "Let's not check my teeth... I like to believe they're all there. But yeah, it was a hell of a hit. He threw so much effort into it he went right through me and into a wall. On top of that it really did some damage. Gah..." He rubs the ice pack against his face some. "And from the other stuff, my entire body just hurts right now. He's definitely not one to overlook for S rank. What does S rank even give you besides special missions and prestige anyway?" His eyes have returned to focus, mostly, so he could make out the world around him somewhat. He recognized the faces around him, but he couldn't put names to a lot of them. It was odd.
