Mayt blinks, surprised. "It's Sasha's birthday next week? She never said anything about that..." He mused for a moment, rubbing his chin. "Should I give you my address, or just wait for you here?" He looked up as she got up, putting his hands back on the table. He hadn't even touched his drink yet. "And I look like death because I haven't washed since yesterday, which was when I had my round. I was too tired to bother last night and I was distracted this morning." He looked down at himself, admitting he should've taken a shower, and he rubs his head. "Yeah... Sorry about looking how I am." He bites his lip. "I need to get home. I live a couple streets over..." He gives her his address, pointing, and starts to stand up, much more stable now. "Thanks for the drink." He gave her a slight smile.
Mayt sighed. He personally would've preferred if Penny was a little less helpful. He knew the list would be suspicious. He thought for a moment, then pulled the letter from his pocket, flipping to the third page quickly, talking as he does so. "Lack of a Guild doesn't mean nothingness. And you can get jobs without a Guild. I have experience with that. Though the help part is nice, it's simpler to take jobs you can handle by yourself for the most part." He paused, biting his lip, and speaking quietly to himself as he looks down the list. "Have that, have that, got that, I'll get that tomorrow... Okay. I need something that can channel magic, chalk, and..." His eyes run over the paper, looking for something he trusts penny to get. "That seems like it." His voice sounds a little tired and worn down. He folds the paper up and puts it back away. "I don't think Sasha knows you exist though, she's never said anything about having a sister, so it'll probably surprise her... A lot."
Mayt shrugs. "I guess it can be fun being in a guild at times, and as far of the fights go, they look like complete messes." He looks over Penny, as if not entirely convinced she's related to Sasha. "And you don't have to join a guild. Honestly, I've gotten hurt more times in a guild in the past month than I've gotten injured in the rest of my life." He figured that was at the very least mostly true. He had broken a few bones as a kid, and hadn't since he joined Phoenix Wing, but he figured the fight with Lazarus, the fight with those people back on the island, and the job to the City without Sound, it all about added up to almost equal if not in favor of the guild. "Are you really related to Sasha? You two are opposite in everything but, uh, gender."
"Ice mage... Sasha?" Mayt murmurs, and bites his lip, then shakes his head a little. It wouldn't be impossible, just ironic she seemed to control fire and Sasha controlled Ice, that they may be related. He looks up at Penny. "And I got a concussion in a competition." He figured that was a good way to put it. Hopefully she wouldn't harass him for something like that. "The guild was holding a competition for S-Rank wizards. And I was in the unfortunate position of fighting one of the toughest people in the Guild." He hoped that that had explained it all and that she wouldn't ask any further questions. He leaned back, glad she was ordering the drinks, he had nearly cleaned out all the gems he had on him, and the remainder was to pay for things he planned to buy later.
Mayt sighed. "Fine... Fine." He pushes off the wall carefully, managing to balance, and indicates for Penny to come and help him stand. "Nice to meet you... I guess." Once she begins helping him, he limps with her towards the nearest place he can sit and have a drink. "And... Who are you looking for?" He says as they walk over, ignoring her asking if she could help him. "The guild would be a great place to start looking, if he or she has magic." When he reaches a chair, he sits down heavily, making a thump. He looks over at her, and motions for her to take the seat across from him. His vision has cleared by this point, and he's obviously feeling a little bit better.
Mayt sighed, he hadn't meant to cause a scene, and had hoped to girl would've thought he was somewhere else. "I-I'm fine... Really... I-I just have a c-concussion." He rubs his head to indicate this, and he starts to push himself to his feet, using the wall as a guide. "I-I thought y-you were someone.... Someone else, sorry, I'm fine. I'll be okay in a moment." He rubbed his head, everything was still a bit blurry. "But... I'll take take a-an offered drink." He held out a hand in her general direction. "I-I'm Mayt." He's shaking slightly, and his body is in a balanced, and if need be, a defensive posture. He glances over out the entrance of the alleyway. "But I can't do it f-for long, I have to get s-some things for someone." He slides a hand into his pocket slowly, trying to look like he's perfectly fine now.
Mayt was in the market place, he looked up at the flame in the sky, and almost panicked when the fireball landed to reveal a girl. He had half drawn his Katana before stopping, letting out a relaxed sigh, and putting it back, giving apologetic looks to those who were worried about him doing so. He has a large satchel around his shoulders, and it seems almost filled to the brim with things. While not a large satchel, a candle sticking out pops up the edge enough to allow sight of a knife and an old book. Mayt looks over Penny carefully, trying to determine what she's after and why she's here. Keeping a hand on his blade, he started trying to move away from the market, heading back towards his house. He didn't want to deal with whoever that was or why they were there.

Some luck god or goddess decided that today was not his lucky day, and he suddenly felt dizzy, and he crashed into someone, who fell into another person, and he ended up bringing down a good number of people. He tried to stand up, holding his head. He managed to push himself to his feet, and stumble out of he market and into an alley, where he leaned back into the wall and breathed heavily, hoping no one would recognize him when he came back some other time. He wiped his head and slides down until he's sitting. His eyes unable to focus properly. "Calm... Focus... You need to at least get back to your apartment Mayt..." He held his head with his left hand.
Mayt is around town, at the moment, buying things.

U What I propose is moving this to Casual-RP section and dropping the nation stats. You would play as one or as many of your characters as you wish in a unique fantasy world.

Sure, It doesn't paticularly matter to me, as I can still control the country and what it does based on its 'personality' but I can't guarantee everyone here will agree.

We would have to better define the state of magic use so no OP characters would come along. OR we can continue on with this NRP.

I say we take one of these approaches:
1, Spells can only be used if you both have the natural talent and a tome or stave (Staff) of the spell. (Fire Emblem)
2. Spells are in the words of an ancient language where knowing the name of an object in that language allows you to control it. (Like Eragon.)
3. Magic is an inborn ability, but requires training to master, and each person who has magic has an affinity for one particular kind of magic, instead of all magic. (Common)
4. Magic comes exclusively from trinkets, tomes, wands, or scrolls. (Rouge-Like don gen crawlers)
5. Spells must be memorized, and then so long as you have the energy to draw on, you can use the spell whenever. (Skyrim.)
