CorrectI'm going to try and post as fast as I can. I kind dropped the ball yesterday and now I have several roleplays to post in over three different sites.

Lucky.

I can't find any rps I'm interested in anywhere! (Besides this one, which is now my only active one.)
Mayt looked around the guild and spotted Sasha staring into her drink for a bit before going to the message board. Mayt put his sword away and headed over, sliding into the seat next to Sasha and ordering water before looking at her. "Tad late to be looking at jobs isn't it? Especially seeing as we're probably going to use most if not all of our magic tomorrow, judging by how everyone around here anticipates our encounter with the Magic Council going tomorrow." He lets out a long sigh. "It's a stupid plan. I don't care how good or bad our chances are, it's stupid in every sense of the word." He glanced up at Damian, and then at Master Jamie, before turning back to Sasha. "But everyone's going along with it, so it'd be just as stupid to keep going against it I guess." His words seem half-hearted and hollow, as if he's just coming up with excuses for things no one asked about.

When you say this arc, do you mean something related to Melina and Mithera or do you mean something related to the magic council?

I believe she means magic council.
Mayt sighed and nodded. "Alright, and last I talked to Mithera she was falling asleep outside Clover Town. But I'll come." Mayt moved to let Master Jamie speak with Damian privately, heading back into the guild hall proper, and sitting in the back by himself. He pulled out a rag and began polishing his sword, ignoring everyone around him. It had been so long since he had seen his mother, he had no idea how she'd react when she saw him, or of she'd even recognize him. He sighed. So far the guild had been a mixed blessing, but something had to be said about the seeming loyalty everyone but him seemed to have. Mayt put a hand to his temple, starting at his sword. What was going to happen tomorrow is all he wondered about now, he knew it wouldn't end well. Even if no one died.
Mayt sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "If we go to get her now, we'll both be tired tomorrow. It's already late." He let himself relax, leaning against the wall. "I plan on going tomorrow, so I don't particularly want to be tired for that." Mayt fidgets with his sword idly, and once his anger leaves him he's just tired. "And if... Melina wants Mithera back, then she'll just have to wait a few more days for her."
Mayt calmly sheathed his sword and followed Master Jamie, his arms crossed. He still seems to be seething about the argument, but he doesn't say anything to Master Jamie about what happened in the main guild hall. His entire posture suggests he wants to fight something or someone, and his energy is moving around him erratically. "Yes Master Jamie?"
May looked at Sasha before sighing, letting his shoulders drop. "Fine. But I don't agree with sending multiple people, possibly to their death, to try and save one person who may already be dead himself." He turned around and walked over to the corner of the room, sitting in a chair and leaning back, letting everyone else argue and bicker should they choose to. He let himself breath a little, and calm down, not saying anything more to contribute to the conversation. He drew his sword and put it on the table, letting it be something he could stare at while he listened. He still looked angry and adamant, but he obviously wasn't going to come back into the conversation, save murmuring, "Either I've accidentally stumbled into a cult and no one told me anything or this guy was pretty damn special."
I feel like feces are about to hit the fan...
Mayt pushed his way forwards, calling out. "Master Jamie, I'm sorry but your plan isn't fair for the rest of the guild, and I can't agree with you at all." Mayt cruised his arms. "You're risking the reputation of everyone in the guild as well as Phoenix Wing itself. If this attack fails, or succeeds and they find out it was us, they will do everything in their power to hold everyone in the guild in contempt and disband it if possible. As well as, you're suggesting attack on the entity designed to stop magic. I don't know if that's the best idea. And calling them the same as a dark guild isn't fair either. You can say just about any governing body is just trying to gain power, and if they can do it with magic, only the most stubborn won't. Are we gong to fight nations now too because "All they want is power"?" Mayt was having a hard time controlling himself, his voice angry. "I don't think it's fair to risk the guild to save one person."
