[Paulownia Academy High School]"Hikari Shishido"Age: 15Class: 2-3By name, Jun was able to determine that this was a female student. Her cause of death may have been hanging as, upon closer inspection, a short wire was wrapped tightly around her neck, though broke off. Also, around one of the shower heads was a similar-looking wire..."Poor girl..." Jinta remarked as he surveyed the corpse. He sighed dryly. "Well, there's not much we can do about it... Rest in peace..." He nodded down at the corpse and looked to the door that lead outside. Testing it proved successful as the door slid open with some resistance, though it was mostly fine. "Hey, Jun! I'm gonna get a drink out here. You coming or are you gonna stay here?" He asked, though it seemed likely he wouldn't leave without her anyway.

"...can...c-can we untie her? I think she would've liked it if she wasn't left hanging there," Jun softly whispers.

"I can do the untying, but...well...can you hold her."

Being a somewhat tall person compared to most other Japanese, she easily had her hands already working on undoing the knot in the wire. It didn't look like she demanded help, but she wasn't going to stop for most of anything.

The path straight ahead lead to two ways: one way left, towards a stairway back up to the second floor, and a short hallway that lead the two to a door. Jinta took the initiative to try the door, which, surprisingly, eased open without a problem. "C'mon," he nudged her onward.Inside was a rather rundown-looking locker room. It was extremely dark, only being dimly lit by a lone lightbulb which constantly flickered on and off, providing little illumination. Lockers lined the left side of the room whilst to the right there was a row if showers, all rusted and worn through time. Beside these showers was yet another door, and there was also one by the lockers. Judging by what they could see through the windows, the door beside the lockers lead outside, whereas the door by the showers lead to another section of the school. By one of the showers was a relatively decomposed corpse with a small, student I.D name tag jutting from the students beast pocket. The body was thoroughly broken down and thus it was unable to determine gender nor age, though the name tag would've told them that should the two retrieve it."Man... I've only just realized how thirsty I am..." Jinta muttered quietly to himself as he eyed the showers and the rain outside.

"Jinta," Jun could barely speak.

"...there's..."

She points at the girl's corpse.

"...how long...was...huh? There's something in her pocket, but...wait, an ID card?"

Slowly, Jun takes a few steps, and whilst looking away, takes the ID card. She then, with her eyes closed, bows to the corpse in respect.

"I hope you understand," she quietly whispers.

"Yeah, that seem a little far-fetched to me..." Jinta replied with a shrug. "Though it's still a confusing statement. If they wanted to say wings they could've just said so..." The stairway actually only lead one way: down. From the window, it looked as though they were on the second floor, so it was safe to assume that below them was the ground floor and a possible exit. That was probably all they could be certain of at this point."Well, there's nothing for us up here... C'mon, let's go." Jinta began to lead, though checked partway down to assure himself that Jun was following. Once he was certain of that, they continued down. The pathway down was oddly straightforward and lead to the first corner without trouble, though they soon found themselves at a crossroads. To the left of the two was a door. It was rather large and seemed rather brittle, though as Jinta tried to open it, it just wouldn't budge, as though it were fixed in place as a part of the wall. The remaining two passages lead either right or straight ahead. The pathway to the right got progressively worse in terms of structure, and one could spot more and more holes further into the darkness, however the extent of the damage was unclear. The path directly ahead of the two was perfectly fine.

"I wonder if this place was torn up in the same earthquake..."

Jun takes Jinta's hand, and leads him onto the hallway straight ahead.

"No. When I woke up, I was alone. I walked for a couple minutes and then I heard screaming. Trailing that lead straight to you, and...well, you know the rest." Jinta replied with a sigh, following her down the stairs. "I didn't find anything or anyone up here, so... Yeah, we should go down."The paper couldn't be read effectively between the flashes of lightning, though once Jinta realized what Jun was attempting he shone his flashlight onto the paper. The paper read:"[Victim's Memoirs]""Ohtaki... Mitsuharu, I want to see you again. A ghost told me... Apparently, you were brought here too, but we're in different spaces. Even though we're in the same school, I can't see you. Why did this happen to us? I shouldn't be here! I should be in my Math 1 class at prep school! My sister's going to be really mad at me for skipping. I don't think she'd believe this excuse even if I told her, though! I feel like if I can ever find you, I'll be able to get out of here alive. I don't know why... ...but if we really are in the same school, then I know there MUST be a way of getting in contact with you. And I'm going to find it!""Wait, what? Different spaces...? The hell does that mean...?" Jinta thought aloud as he finished reading the paper.

"...Maybe there's different wings of the school," Jun considers after a long pause.

"Or...sorry if this sounds like a bit of a stretch, but maybe...like in those 'em-em-ou' games Takamoto-san invited me to play...well...it's like what the note said. I couldn't see Takamoto's character until he joined the same 'Insta-'

No. That doesn't make any sense. We should all be in the same place."

Jun looks at the stairways.

"We could try looking around up or downstairs."

"Hey, just...don't think about it, okay? You don't need to say anymore..." Jinta replied as he comforted Jun for the time being, constantly on alert for any other dangers all the while. He kneeled down beside her and rested a comforting hand on her shoulder, letting her cry and sob and...get it all out. Once he'd thought Jun had calmed down, he began talking once more."Alright, well it looks like you're okay physically. Here," he offered a hand to help her up, "we gotta find a way outta this place. It's-" he paused, and as he hesitated, Jun could see a lot of uncertainty in his eyes. "It's not safe. We can assume that much, at least."The hall around them was relatively nearby to a staircase which was leading downwards. Rain could be seen pouring from the window nearby as thunderclaps echoed with restlessness. The other way was from where Jun and Jinta had came - the way that lead to the large man - and was darker the further one looked down its halls. Beside the staircase was a piece of paper lying on the ground, which was unreadable as of now due to the darkness.Speaking of darkness, Jinta revealed his flashlight, the very same one that had been used to tell scary stories not so long ago. It shone like a beacon in the darkness and he occasionally turned it off to conserve power, stating so himself.

Jin picks up this small slip of paper, and also stuffs it into her breast pocket.

"I-if we came from there, then that place must be empty by now...

...should we go down the staircase? Maybe our friends could be around..."

Just before she dies that, though, she goes up to the window, and attempts to read by the varying flashes of lightning.

"Did anyone come with you, Jinta?"

The zombie-esque man was now slowly and steadily coming towards her in his signature style, bloodied metal pipe in tow. His grunting and groaning seemed to grow even more agitated the closer he got, giving Jun the impression that he probably didn't like her very much. Yet, above all, those cursed rhythmic scrapes were the worst of it all...*Thump**Thump*His distinctive grind of a walk gave off the very essence of uncertainty, and if he weren't in plain sight right now - perhaps like he was a matter of minutes ago, in the halls - it'd make one fear for if that rhythm stopped just outside their door. The grotesque monstrosity paused as he reached the table that Jun was laid upon, as his red, glazed-over eyes began dripping a similarly coloured liquid. He was bleeding from his eyes! Or...perhaps he was...crying?However, before Jun could even begin getting to the bottom of that peculiar sight, the large man began to raise the metal pipe. Perhaps she might not have noticed it before, but the man was evidently shaking as he lifted the pipe, even once it was fully raised over his head. He stood in that very position, arms in the air and both hands gripped tightly around the base of the pipe, for what felt like an eternity. This was it. He was about to do the same to her as he'd just done to that poor girl on the desk just beside her..."HAAAIIIIIYYYYAAAAARGH!" All too suddenly, the large man jerked aside, as small droplets of blood fell from his head to Jun's. He stumbled aside, moaning and groaning as he was sent into a nearby wall. His head had been twisted a full 90 degrees, if not more, and even though Jun didn't have a full view she could see that blood was pouring from a large area that had been caved in near the back of the mans head. Standing in the mans place was Jinta, wielding a crowbar that was now dripping lightly with blood."Don't worry, Beaumont-San! I'll get ya outta there!" He said in a fiery tone, revealing a pocket knife at his hip which he immediately used to slash apart the ropes. They fell with little resistance, and it was a blink of an eye until Jun was taken from that cursed science room to the outside hall. Jinta continued to run at a steady pace, carrying Jun the entire time, though after a good minute or two he set her down in one of the halls."S-sorry for, uh, carrying you. I just acted on impulse and didn't know if you could walk or not. Hell, I didn't know if you were alive up until I cut those ropes! You OK? No injuries?" He spoke with an edge of franticness in his voice, indicating his concern and general shock. "I'm probably being a pain in the ass right now, but..." He trailed off, shaking his head and failing to continue, reverting back to his former question. "You OK?"

No, Jun was probably not OK, as she was still breathing raggedly wrong the shock. In between small sobs, she was trying to say something, but most of it was incomprehensible until she made a deep breath and calmed down, if only for a little bit.

"...I had t-to watch...a girl die...crushed by him. He was using that pipe...

...I...th-think there are students from a-another school here with us. Her u...I-I don't know, he-er face was already...br-broken wh-when he brought her in..."

Her breathing becomes more ragged again as she begins to recall the memory a bit more.

"A-and...i-it was a sc-science room...i-is this another school...? Th-then wh-what was with that...man? He had blood dripping down his eyes and nose, and he looked paler than a dead man..."

However, no matter how hard she tried, the ropes just wouldn't budge, as though they were made of metal or were a part of the desk itself or something. The scraping drew nearer and nearer, before stopping right outside the entranceway to the science room...The door swung open with incredible force, and there, standing in the doorway, was what could only be described as a monstrosity. A man, who towered even over Jun, with zombie-like features, bloodied, pale skin, and a large metal pipe that seemed to be the cause of the scraping sounds, stepped into the science room. He didn't seem to take much notice of Jun, despite her panic and obvious positioning atop a bench, and just continued to walk inside......dragging someone else in with him...The man groaned as he lifted the poor girl that he'd been dragging, not so much out of struggle but rather because of some kind of instinctual moaning. As with his body, he sounded just like a zombie, with a monotone that could almost be described as inhumane. Jun could now also hear the faint whimpering of the girl that the zombie-man had dragged along as he prepped her up onto the table, clamping her down with metal chains......and letting the blood pour from her head onto the cold, dry, floor below...The girls head had been quite visibly smashed in on the right side (the side facing Jun), where a large dent had caved in practically half the poor girls face. Her eye had become nothing but a white-grey mush that blended with the blood that pooled from various body wounds. Loose pieces of grey matter could also be seen, to Jun's horror. And yet, this young girl was still alive..."Uuuuuuaaaaaaaagggggggghhhhhh..." The man moaned as he lifted up the metal pipe. It rose well above his head, only falling short of the ceiling by a matter of inches, as the girls whimpers turned into screams."No... No, please! NO! NOOOOO-!" Her words just became agonising cries after that, as the huge man swung down with impossible force, cleaving both the girl's legs in two and even leaving a dent in the table! Bones were crushed as he made slow progression on her body, destroying her arms, legs, and chest, all the while with the girl screaming in absolute pain and terror. No doubt if her face weren't so best up Jun would be able to see tears...The screams seemed to echo on forever, however with one final crushing blow, the girls head was nothing short of obliterated, sending chunks of flesh flying, even with a couple pieces landing on Jun. Her entire body had been pulverised -- essentially a melted human marshmallow -- soaking the desk and floor beneath in blood and gore. The sight was sickly - absolutely horrifying - though the worst was yet to come......as Jun saw the man had turned his attention to her, now...

"NO! SOMEONE HELP! HEEELP!"

Jun could scarcely realize she was screaming as she was tugging on her bonds as hard as she could, but every step he took, the more hopeless she felt. After all, even if she did get free, where else could she go to?

Who would be there to help her, if there anyone was here?

How would she get out?

Moreover...why? She still had plenty to do in her life, and she was just on the verge of finding out what her mother had been hiding from her for all those years...
Jun frantically looks around for a sharp object as she begins to flail around in her struggle to break free, all the while letting a flurry of curses in her panic. She tries to pull in wrist closer to see if she could bite her bonds, and failing that, attempt to try and rub the rope off the dull edge of the table.

What caused her to do that was beyond the minds of your average high-schooler, mind you.
I have a feeling Jun's going to die first for being the tallest...

Like she tries to jump over a gap and gets impaled, or a flying pot snags her face because she can't duck so well, or a drawer gets dropped on her...oh joy, the possibilities...
Jun, with her glutes up in the air and a hand on the ground, looked like she was doing stretches. Regardless, she had refused to be grounded, and for that, she was spared some minor bruising on her knees.

Slowly, she stood straight up once again while brushing the hair away from her face.

"...everyone alright?" she asked. "There's still people outside cleaning up, right? We should check to see if they're safe..."

She approaches the window, and looks outside.
