Current If your ears are burning, it means someone is talking about you. Usually they're saying "He's on fire."

Notice: I'll be going away from the 9th to the 19th, I might still be able to update at least partially, but I can't confirm this, so expect me to be absent.

This land is littered with lunatics and killers, they smile like crocodiles while they beat you like gorillas.

The sword wielder went for him in a lunge motion, which his roll thankfully avoided whilst the war hammer wielder swatted the torch away when he threw it. His sword hit the ankle of the warhammer holder quite well and it went about halfway through, just like the prior statue's wrist. When he turned away, the war hammer wielder was on him first, raising its hammer up high and swinging it down at him.
At the end of the corridor, he emerged into a larger room, another square shaped one with torches on the walls. A door set on the far well was ajar slightly... and curiously, he could hear noise not too far away. Something of a whistling sound followed by a clank of metal on stone.
However, his way was blocked by two more statues, these two making no attempt to appear still and were making their way toward him. One held the standard sword and shield he had seen before, whilst the other was two handing a heavy iron warhammer.
The shield was iron in an oval shape with a city's seal upon the front, strangely in a bell shape of some sort. It was decently large, not quite a kite shield in size but easily above to cover most of the arm. It was a little heavy, but considering the statue had wielded it with ease, he would most likely be able to as well.
The statue was knocked and it crashed into the wall, causing it to stagger momentarily and it gave him a chance at a hard strike on the neck. His blade dug in beyond halfway and it seemed that was enough as natural cracks formed after the statue's neck was broken into. The entire hulking stone soldier fell to his knees and pitched over forward, cracking into fragments and leaving only its shield behind.
The statue took a while to react and as the blade came down, its sword hand came off and clattered noisily onto the ground. Now wielding no bladed weapon, the statue took a deft new approach and decided it would use its shield as some kind of battering ram, holding it out and rushing at Eldarin, intent to smack the rounded metal into him.
His attack and better range forced the statue to defend itself with a block of its shield. His feint worked superbly as his blade hit the wrist of the statue, sinking in and cutting almost halfway through the limb. Whilst it was clear this hindered the statue somewhat, it was still active as it moved in close and lunged at him with its blade in a counter attack.
The statue took the moment to return to posture and advanced upon him, holding its sword up and its shield in its other hand as it approached him, slow and stocky but with a very deliberate step, helmet tilted toward him slightly. The stone of the statue looked dusty but still pretty new... but, something he could spot quickly was the stone used to make these creatures was not the same stone in their weaponry. A weaker stone was required for the spell that had been cast to create these guardians, thus, it would be easier to break with some well placed strikes.
As he walked past the statue, he heard the slight shifting of stone and he could even smell the dust shifting slightly. One of the statues heads turned toward him and suddenly lunged out with its short sword. The blade was stone but it would still hurt if it hit him.
My lips... err, fingers, are sealed.
The opening in the hall led to a corridor stretching onward for a decent ways, his feet echoing off the marble floor and ringing around the empty walls of the temple. Two more knight statues, bearing short swords and shields, stood either side of this narrow corridor, a little too close for comfort. The corridor stretched beyond them, nothing but dim darkness ahead.
