Background:
Sara grew up normally, eight years after she was born she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. This fazed her family-she was fazed by it too, how could she not be? It scared her. Things were better for the next few years, until she was once again diagnosed with a condition. She now had diabetes, and she had to take insulin, needles everywhere. That had been the year her mother decided to have a baby, now that Sara was fifteen and her emotions were under control all would be ‘fine’. Her mother almost got an abortion after the news. And so, Sara’s life has been full of ups and down, she handles it but it is of course hard…she hopes for something better, and usually spends her time online where she can separate from the world.
