Name: Kevin "Sully" Sullivan
Alias: Zer0
Age: 28
Super Powers: Cryokinesis; allowing Sully to have the ability to reduce the kinetic energy of atoms and thus reduce temperature, can be used to control, generate, or absorb ice.

Bio: Sully was your average, everyday "metropolite" before the fall of Veridian City. After the events that took place albeit 5 years ago there were some wounds still left open from that fateful attack. Both of Kevins' older brothers and his parents were lost in the catastrophe. Events like this would probably turn your normal human into a cold, vengeful person. This effect became far too literal for Kevin as he soon found out. If he loses control of his emotions he begins to turn the world around him into the frozen, dead wasteland that his heart has become.

This makes it difficult for people to get to know him, which is why he has only recently started doing something, hell, ANYTHING with his newly found powers. It started mostly as a solo act, stopping muggers, saving damsels from creepy back ally horn dogs. Nothing spectacular, until Kevin found out his powers couldn't make him immortal, and after being on the business end of a .22 he found himself recovering in the hospital.

Upon recovery he heard about a group of disbanded and defunct "superheros"... The Crusaders.... Kevin didn't think much of it until then but maybe he needed to find some people who could watch his back, while he watched the cities.

Personality: Sully would be the prime candidate for the "Calm, Cool, Collected" superlative. Chill doesn't even begin to touch this guy, as he has been through quite a lot over the years and has developed quite the thick skin. Some would describe his personality as "cold" but anyone who truly knows him (and you cant count many that do) could say he warms up a tad when he lets you in.

Weaknesses: Spicy food, A fine woman and anything that reminds him of what he has lost in the past, does not like to have control of his emotions.

Appearance:

I need to run the fam to an appt fast, should shave my sheet and first post up by tonight if im accepted, cant wait to start this.
right on, and please people get creative with race and a good origin story. the more fun and creativity the better
i just started a high fantasy rp The Guardians of Sa'Renak. if you're interested check it out
I was thinking a late 20s male who loses his family after Wolfgang destroys Veridian, this tragic event then causes my character to have his "metamorphosis" allowing him to discover his formerly hidden powers. Still not sure what direction I want to take those powers specifically.

Is OP going to be playing a character? if so what direction, scope will you be taking?
Def. Interested
The Guardians of Sa’Renak

The moon cast an almost purple hue across the midnight sky; this eclipse would truly mark a turning point in the coming age of the kingdom. The air was cold and crisp, the autumnal breeze bit at the trees and what leaves had remained. Smoke billowed from the chimneys as villagers vigorously attempted to stay warm and cozy. This was the coming season they had expected here in Alo-Quin; a bitter winter approached as was foretold by the shamans, and their faith was rewarded with a bountiful harvest to prepare for the frost. You see, this is a time when magik and gods held power over man and beast. Many a race came together in these lands, forming cities, villages and settlements. Large and imposing temples were flocked to daily to make tribute, markets bustling with consumers, vying for the finest wares from Dwarven metals forged in the hottest fire to Elvish wood carved and cut from the strongest and finest timber. These times were quite prosperous for the kingdom of Sa’Renak and all its small towns and large cities flourished because of it.

......

However, dark days are on the horizon. It has been foretold that an army of undead and unwanted are growing not only in numbers, but in great power. Led by an Evil Necromancer, the Vile Cult is one that must be stopped, at all costs.

That is where you come in.

Your character has found out (that is to be determined in you “origin story”) that they have been called on by the ruler of the kingdom of Sa’Renak to travel to the northern capital city, Alo-Quin and provide aid to the kingdom in repelling this menacing force. Once you arrive you will be assigned to a group of fighters, mages, rouges, rangers and other such folk to stop the Vile Cult and their evil leader before they decend upon the kingdom and all is lost.

Okay so should anyone be interested I’ll post a copy of the character sheet so we can get some people signed up, please submit any interest you have. As long as you aren’t trying to be OP as all hell I’ll probably allow it, this is a High fantasy/mythic RP. Let’s have fun and try to make this an awesome storyline.
Obviously Ben could sense the power this armored stranger possessed. He had no real care as to who helped him achieve his goal, do long as the job was done. Sanguine was far too hot headed and ignorant to form any kind of plan. Ben figured the best way to handle this was to form a strategy. He was rather concerned that he hadn't been aware to any sign of the rune knights that the magic council had sent. Why wouldn't they have arrived yet? What were they of all people waiting for. If anyone thought Sanguine showed little patience the council made her seem sloth like. Ben couldn't focus on that now, the boxes had all been buried and he began to pick his things up and get ready to move on, in pursuit of Sanguine. Before he did so he had to make sure this guy couldn't be of some user to the cause.

He turned to address the man in armor. The things he said and the way he spoke made Ben curious as to where he hailed. Having the first from his hands and trousers he looked up and address the gent in the helmet.

"I know she doesn't seem like good company, and she's not. But we can use all the help that we can get, even she is smart enough to understand that. So what will it be? Are you okay with helping us find out what's causing all this havoc?"
Tiny pieces of dirt landed at Ben's feet. The rhythm of the shovel breaking and tossing fresh soil was almost hypnotic. As he contemplated helping this strange knight his thoughts wandered. Coincidence that this guy arrives in Haven same time as some great evil is killing innocent people, doubtful. So Ben came to the conclusion that this guy IS the horror, or knows more than he is letting on, either way Ben figured he should try to make nice.

There were so many boxes. Large ones, and some small, but every one of them felt wrong. The sense Ben received was that this hulking individual knew more about this evil haunting Haven than he did, which was next to nothing. Their shadows stood long on the ground, stretching out as the sun began to sink being the sleepy horizon. Ben drive the head of his shovel into the groom free as the list few hours were being buried.

"So, seems ride of me to help without introducing myself, I'm Ben, and this lovely lady calls herself Sanguine." The darkness began to consume the field as dusk settled upon the strange group. "And it's gettin rather dark, so you have a place to stay? I'm sure we could all grab a few rounds at the local tavern and crash there, unless you prefer calling in the great outdoors. Either way, I feel as though it is in our best interest to aid rather in solving what seems to be a common goal. Care to grab a drink and maybe fill us in?"
Ben wasn't sure how long he had been out of it. He felt as though the town of Haven cast some sort of sleepy spell over him. He was engaged in his own thoughts so much so he hadn't noticed Sanguine. He hadn't noticed much of anything, really. He just walked, carried by his feet to an unknown destination. With no sign of Reaper, Ben felt as though he and Sanguine were most likely on their own. The exuberant blast of light that the nearby field was so stunning it took Ben a moment before he realized Sanguine had run of without him. Finally, some serious action. I'm glad this town isn't as sleepy as it seems.

Upon arriving at the source of the disturbance Ben could hardly understand where he was. Some strange field with a few freshly dug graves and a large, towering presence in foreign armor. It seemed as though the large presence was attempting to converse with Sanguine. As Ben approached he could make it an accent that was unfamiliar, and definitely foreign. Ben certainly wasn't one to stand oddly by without introducing himself.

"Why have you come to zis place?" the figure asked.

"Hey, we're from the Fairy Tail guild, and this place? This place, is Haven and we are here cause some serious stuff is going down. I honestly could ask you the same question buddy." Ben cracked a playful smile. "So what is it pal? Why are you here mister strange armor guy? And what was up with that loud noise and very bright light?" Ben rested his arm playfully on Sanguines shoulder, shooting a smile at the helmet, hoping whatever was under it was friendly.
