She thinks about something then walks to the warehouse again, approaching quietly she fingers the hem of her sweatshirt.

She walked outside the apartments and sat under a tree, trying to make a rough draft for an apartment. She sketched designs and thought about pairing people together. She wasn't sure how she felt on it, but she knew it was necessary to continue the human race. She sighed and her mind wandered to back before the virus.

"Ok," she nodded and looked at Axel and nodded as well, "Good insight, I guess I'll go back to the apartments." She turns to leave and then looks back "And Liz, I think you're right about it being their choice." She walked back to her apartment, put her paints in her bag, and then walked around the apartments trying to find someone who wanted their room painted. (My name's Candi, by the way xD)

"I see what you mean." She sighed, "It's hard to decide, I'm only fourteen, I know I'm young, but if you need me to do anything I'll do it. You seem like you're stressed, is there anything that I can do?" She asked. She stood up straight and looked into Liz's eyes with loyalty.

Her eyes brightened along with her face, "Yeah that'd be a great idea!" Then with a pause to think she said, "I know you'll make the right decision. I mean, it makes sense, they're so few of us." She sees Axel and smiles "Hi Axel"

"Hey, um, Liz." Candi said, "Sorry to bother you, but I sort of painted the walls of my apartment." She bit her lip, scolding herself in her mind not to be so rash, "I painted it so it would remind me of what it was like before, and I didn't even think to ask you, but is it ok?" She looked up hopefully and seeing Liz's troubled face, she asked, "Are you ok?"

Candi took some home-made paints out of her bag and looked around at the dull walls of the apartment. "Hmmm," she said to herself. Then, she started painting the walls. Green forests exploded onto the walls with rivers and lush flowers. The sky was blue with puffy clouds to keep the sun company in the sky. Best of all, there were people on the walls, people enjoying life, people talking, picnicking in the sun, that was what Candi wished for. She finished painting and looked around her. The once dull room was now full of life. She smiled, then slapped a paint splattered hand to her forehead, "Oh my gosh, I didn't even ask Liz." She bit her lip and went outside to the warehouse to find Liz.

"Oh, it's fine. This is probably the best I've had since it happened," she said and smiled gratefully. She entered an apartment and looked around the room. She set her backpack on the mattress and sat down next to it. She closed her eyes and let out a sigh of relief, for the first time in a long time she felt safe
