Lily smiled when the text came in. She had just arrived at work and was sitting in her dressing room. She saw the picture and grinned, it was Derek. She quickly replied, Hi Derek! :D What's the dog's name? she hit send then immediately saved the number to her phone. She wondered if he had a dog, or a pet of any kind. She'd swing by the shelter on the way home. She started looking over the script for the movie to refresh her memory. She ran her fingers through her blond hair and heard the others coming into the shooting area. She knew she still had almost ten minutes before prep, she always got to places either a bit early or a bit late.

Lily grinned to herself while she ate her bagel. She finished up and stood up to leave, she did have a shoot to go to today. She made eye contact with Derek and smiled quickly. With that, she slipped out of the cafe and into the bright morning sun. She was almost walking on air, he was so sweet. She couldn't stop thinking about his curly hair or his nervousness. She giggled a little, then walked to her apartment to get her bike. She loved biking to her shoots, to have the wind streaming through her hair and to feel the slight ache as she pedaled on it. She got on and rode off, hoping Derek would text or call her soon.
