The Academy

"Great, thanks." she said with a smile, "This is Addilyn, by the way, now let's get to breakfast, I'm starving." she said and scribbled out a note on a scrap piece of paper for the others who hadn't woken up yet that they went to the dining hall. "Alright, let's go." she said and walked out into the morning. The sun shone down on the path and on the academy. She lead her group into the dining hall where the scent of pancakes, eggs, and bacon wafted around. "Go ahead." Lauren said with a smile. She waited for the others to get to the dining hall, she would have to tell everyone about their jobs.

Lauren looked up as Thomas entered the living room, "Hi, Thomas, how'd you sleep?" she asked pleasantly.

Addilyn nodded and set her jacket on the armchair. "What does this school have?' She asked curiously, she wondered if they had a swimming pool.

"A track, a pool, woods, a feild, an open air pavailion, and...I think that's it for cool stuff," Lauren said with a smile. "Do you do any sports?"

"Like a rock," Lauren said with a grin, "We'll wait for the majority to get down here then we'll head out."

"Fine, thanks," Lauren said with a smile, "How'd you sleep?" she asked. She leaned on one of the sofas as she talked, relaxed and smiling. She was genuinely excited to start the day.

Escape the Past

Scott smiled, ""C'mon, I know you don't really mean it. Take a ride with me." He said with a grin and a flick of his wrist a gust of air sent May tumbling onto his air cushion. He gripped May's wrist and flew over the valley, grinning wildly, with merriment in his eyes, "C'mon isn't this fun?" he asked her. He wanted to make her happy, she seemed too alone, and he knew she really had a good heart.

All the doors on campus clicked simultaneously around the school at 11 pm, ending the first day at the Academy for the students.

The sun rose softly over the trees the next morning. Light streamed through all windows, an announcement came over the speakers at 7 am, "All students must be in the dining hall by 8 am." The automated voice announced, and all the doors unlocked themselves for the students. Lauren got out of bed and went into the bathroom shared with three other Halcyon girls to shower and get ready for the day. she yawned and hopped into the shower, then went into her room to get changed. She pulled on black jeans, combat boots, and a green button up shirt with her favourite aviator's jacket. She combed her hair on her bed and went downstairs to the living room, waiting for her faction to assemble.
