Candi followed after her and whistled happily

She shrugged, "There'll always be haters right?" she laughed, "I'll head up to the top floor," She said and ran up the stairs. She set her stuff inside the first room by the door and came back out, "So, what can we do now?" she smiled

"Woah! It's like a resort!" Leah said with a gasp and her eyes widened, "What are the rooms like?" She said and smiled, "Is there a pool? What are our jobs? Which floors can I pick from?" She smiled and walked inside, trailing her finger on the fountain outside before walking inside the luxurious lobby.

"Trying to form some sort of alliance with them," Lauren said, she didn't want to lie, so only gave a small bit of the truth. "Anyway, after lunch we have to do some type of sport the Sedition picks out for us," Lauren said with a smile. She knew Addilyn would be excited.

Candi picked up lots of paper and art supplies to stuff in her bag, then for practicality she got a hammer and nails. "Alright, I'm set." She said, her bag bulging behind her and she held her hammer at her side.

The Academy

Lauren sighed, then entered after Roxy. She grabbed a sandwich, then sat down next to Addilyn, "Sorry about that." she said and ate her lunch. She hoped everything would work out, and that they wouldn't have to fight when the time came to escape

"I ate before I came, thanks." Leah said with a warm smile, "It's great to see people though, I mean that truck ride was horrible!" She said and made a face, then laughed. "So, where do we sleep?" She asked

"Sorry!" Candi said and hurried inside. She browsed through the supplies, "It's amazing this place still has stuff." She said as she ran her fingers along some supplies.

"Makes sense, though no threats." Lauren said, "I don't want the Halcyon to be afraid of you." She said, "I mean, they already are, but don't make it any worse. Anyway, we should probably get out of here before anyone gets too suspicious," Lauren said and was about to open the door. She now had some reassurance with Roxy, though she knew Roxy was unpredictable, Roxy was somewhat reasonable.

Candi thought of what it would be like if her family was still around, she nodded and walked behind Caoro. She couldn't help but stare at the houses as they walked past, wondering what lay behind the closed doors
