Bio

Rain pattered dismally against the office’s windows, made liquid brass by the faint glow of the streetlamps below, and streaked against the glass like tears. Once, the words “Jennofski & Jennofski” had been painted in gold across these jalouises… but now there was only an outline, a ghost that had lingered, long past its time, when the acid rain had taken the rest to its grave.
The Octo P.I. could sympathise with that.

But as long as he remained, those names would never be forgotten. Not in this, the office that had been his home, his sanctuary, and his prison.
A perfectly preserved memory, kept sealed within the bell jar of personal tragedy.
OctoP.I. sighed, deeply.
“Of all the octopode's profiles in all the world… you had to read mine.”

Hi all, Jenno here! Or Captain. I'm your resident blues harpist, and part time octopode! (But let's keep that between you and me, eh? Nobody suspects a thing.)
If you want to know anything just drop me a line via DMs and I'll get right back to you!

Oh hey, groovy!
I can't say, then. Perhaps it's just something to do with having comrades? At the academy she'd almost have been forced to make friends, moreso when she was actually assigned.

The spindly thing is intentional. I mean for her to be both intelligent and athletic but still be a realistic member of the B-Team. Thus my original thought on that was 'she did it out of boredom'. I made it a bit more sad than that though. She joined up during a very damaged mental state that was elongated by locking herself away from everyone else so really, it's meant to not make sense. I mean, try locking yourself away with nothing but some random paintings and abstract sculptures for four years and see how sound your decision making skills become. I also believe that she can realistically stay with the B-Team seeing as how that is the way she reintegrates herself into society. Even though I am being a bit defensive about it, I would definitely be willing to make some minor changes to it to have it be more believable if you are willing to help me out in some small way. I'm a bit exhausted from writing that much so my brain has sort of melted.EDIT: Also thanks for complimenting the shield thing, I enjoyed the idea myself ^^

Well my worry was precisely that such a weak reason for joining wouldn't have seen her through the academy years. Perhaps if she did it for some hollow sensation of heroics? I've known people to perform philanthropically for their own benefit as opposed to that of others.
If you're happy with that biography, though, I'm sure I'll get over it.

Wait, somebody else has a shield? Should I change mine? It's kind of an easy fix, I didn't really care about the weapon choice anyway. The closing statement of the weapon description is the main reason why I picked it :/

No, you're fine to keep it. Moderators can have similar weapons. I wouldn't say his isn't really a shield, anyway, it just seems to be a little all over the place. Like I said, I love the idea that her shield is actually more of a hindrance.
This is the part where things get a little worrisome, however. All of the colours have been claimed, meaning that I'm going to have to decide upon whose profiles make it into the roleplay and whose don't.
I'd take this time to make any alterations you can, and within the next few hours I should be able to tell you who's staying.

I think the reason for her becoming a moderator seems a little... spindly. I do like the character concept, though, especially the idea that her shield is actually more of a hindrance than it is an asset.

While he would be average intelligence-wise, he didn't learn anything in his normal school or the Moderator academy because he couldn't remember anything. He has absolutely no clue what on earth to do in most situations, aside from just simply attacking. For his scroll, he can disable most viruses by binding them in cloth. Due to its strength, it can also be used to block attacks. With the bio, I'll change it until there aren't any issues.

I'm afraid that you can't use the scroll, then. Because that just sounds like a method of using the bind modifier without actually having to take it, and you can't carry a shield unless it's actually a shield, because that's sort of the role your armour plays, at least until you unlock a Modifier for it at lvl 2.
Remember that this is The B Team, the whole point is that they're second rate. They're not smart, strong and deft, they're either, or, or none, y'know? Part of the fun is the fact that they suck at their jobs.

[MODERATORS PROFILE]Name: Camen LeloucheAge: 22Gender: MNationality: AmericanModerator ID No.: 107Moderator colour code: OrangeInitialiser: Modifier Chosen (lvl 1): FlightModerator Weapon and Description:Cloth Scroll - A foot-long scroll that spews out a long sheet of strong cloth, which is usable for either disabling or defensive purposes. The cloth is a composite of strong, woven wire and data.Moderator’s Appearance: Standing at 6'2", Camen is a tall and particularly slim figure. As if he weren't already the easiest person to find in a crowd, it's made even more so by his disheveled mop of long black hair. Ironically, his clothes are neat and clean; it is often considered a mystery by regulars at his café, considering he wears . Even on his black pants and green apron, not a spot of red jelly or even some flour shows up(people also wonder about the apron). Camen has fair skin and deep, dull black eyes that seem to pull in light. Camen tends to terrify others unintentionally when he spaces out because of them.Moderator’s Bio: Of his life, the most memorable moment was also the worst. In his late small city, Camen didn't have any real ambition or interest in anything. Lax and worry-free, he spend a large amount of his time staring up at the clouds. After years of doing it alone, Camen became somewhat introverted and spacey. What little education he remembered was cooking. Outside of that, he.... didn't care too much.At about the age of 14, one of the worst virus outbreaks occurred, with his town as the epicenter. With the nearest Moderators several miles away, Camen took it upon himself to defend the town; practically unarmed and untrained, He barely escaped with his life, as the Moderators arrived to eliminate the viruses. Unfortunately, the rest of his family had no such luck, if "luck" were to describe it even remotely. Orphaned and injured, he was taken to a medical camp set up, where his injuries were fixed with data. Frustrated by his helplessness, Camen swore to become a Moderator himself. After settling his life in Proto-City, Camen enrolled in the Moderator Academy; physically, he was perfectly fine. Intelligence-wise? About as smart as anyone else, except with the attention span of a dumb-as-bricks goldfish. Unsurprisingly, when testing came around, he barely passed.

A bit concerned by this profile, because it seems to me your Moderator might be a little too capable to be in the B-Team.
He's tall, he's strong and he's moderately intelligent, and I'm not seeing a short attention span as a particularly debilitating handicap when it comes to fighting giant monsters who are definitely going to keep your attention regardless.

Also, the worst virus outbreaks were over 120 years ago, since then it's been relatively quiet save for recently where attacks have very gradually been growing more severe.

Also, what do you mean by "disable and defend" when it comes to the scroll?
Well the rifle is significant because it fires data, not bullets. But sure, you can keep the silencer: Be my guest!

And aye, it's 7:33am here, I ought to hit the hay myself.
Sorry, my mistake! It's Blue-102. My apologies! Mis-remembered.
