I'm okay with this. books said something about fixing the time issue, too, but I guess we'll see what she'll come up with. I hope it won't be a long pause, though, so we won't lose interest.

Edit: As it is right now, Cyrus and Lillah are outside the building debating going in, and then Doc just kinda went in after this was established. So we're way, way behind (by about 5 pages now that I look)...

Heh, maybe Jim and the Doc would see Lillah and Cyrus on the way out. That way Doc's gonna get more hostility, lol.

"If he comes back to kill us though I will have to say I told you so." Steph said.
"If he comes back to kill us, he would be shot on sight." Jim said. "We're gonna need guns, Steph. I'll take both the beretta and the stinger." he continued, taking the weapons from Steph. "What did you say your name was? I'm Jim. I'm gonna give you your weapon when we're away from them, alright?" Jim made sure the man's clothes did not have any weapons and tossed them to him. "You'll be untied when we're on the bus."
"I'm leaving my bag here. I'm only taking the bat, two bottles of water and a can of food. The rest is yours, Steph. Let's go." Jim said, as he led the man towards the stairs, but Spencer soon opens the door.
"Woah. I am not going to let you go alone with him, Jim." she said.
"Spence, I have to do this. I'm not letting you go with us, either. Both you and Steph will be safer here, away from him. I promise you, I'll be back." Jim said.

"Alright then. I personally don't want to decrease the population any further, anyway. This is a bad, bad idea. This whole day is a bad freaking idea, but I'm doing it. Mister, wanna go on a field trip with me?" Jim said. He didn't trust the guy, but no matter what wrongs he did, even if he was lying, he still deserved a chance at redemption. "Will you and Spencer wait for me?" Jim asked. He may end up on the bad side of this decision, but he will never regret having helped a person live. Even if it will never bring back those lives he took, this was the way he believed that he will be redeemed.

"Maybe we can drive, drop him off somewhere far. Then he'd be too far away. If he did come bakc for us, well... I don't think we'll be staying here anyway." Jim said.

Jim wanted to follow Spencer, but he didn't trust the man enough to leave him alone with Steph. Jim, though, was alert to sounds, in case Spencer needed help. "Your call Steph. You did say he wasn't worth killing."

"By that logic, if you recently picked up a knife, you would want to kill as many as possible. Smooth. But I think we should let him go. Bad idea, I know. But we've nothing to gain if we kill him, or let him stay. Unless he'll try to stab us in the back again." Jim said.
