"Ah, yes. The contract, primarily. And the note in itself. You seemed to be extremely prideful in that note to prove who was the better of the two, No? You didn't care about being a stockholder. but as you said, he was a "Wonder kid." You wanted to prove you were better than him. It was a matter of pride, infarct. And considering what occurred, you had lost that bet. He had damaged your pride, and that is why you took your revenge against him. Plus, both of your contracts are extremely similar. I doubt that wasn't a "coincidence". Plus, the phone is circumstantial evidence. Face it, you have to admit it. From your behaviors and the evidence surrounding it, alongside your initial statements about the victim. It's more then clear that you had a strong motive to dispose of him in the end, don't you agree with me?
He walks up to Crane, and says "Hey, were back. Now.. i think you have quite the bit to answer for. We found out that the victim was drugged with a substance similar to the one you admitted putting in your drink, alongside the fact that you have a clear motive, with the race for the position of Greene's stockholder. Alongside that, we have a bet right here that indicates you had been planning to gamble quite the large sum of money. and before you deny it, we have your signature. it'll be easy to confirm or deny if you actually made the bet or not. Alongside that too, you have no alibi- No, let me correct that. Your alibi involves you being close by the victim almost the entire time, so you have nothing to really object to. Alongside that, the Samurai sword came from the casino. and thanks to that list of guests, alongside facial cream on both the sheath and the murder weapon's handle, i think i can be sure that you are the only plausible suspect in this instance. Alongside that too, we have a mysterious set of glove-prints. No gloves were found at the crime scene however, and the scene was secured extremely quickly."
"Alongside the fact he clearly tried to hide the motive, much more then Ms. Kate did- when she flat out admitted what her motive was. However, it is clear Henry had no intentions of spilling it. Plus, he wears facial cream. Something Ms. Kate does not, from what I have observed from her appearance alone. Alongside that however, he was at the party. and admitted that he had the type of drug used to drug the victim at his disposal. so, It's clear that he has MMO. It is now a simple matter of proving him guilty, which should be easy. And confront him at the stock market, getting him called in would give him more valuable time to think of a response. if we catch him off guard though, it is much more likely for him to crack under pressure then if he comes prepared. it is a simple matter of criminal psychology, really. But, I'm getting off on a tangent. call him in, and we'll take it from here." He'd look over at Jones with a look of preparedness, almost as if he had been planning this entire route of attack the entire time.
Charles went back down to the PD, being sure to go in extremely carefully. before announcing his findings to Jones. "So, we got a motive for Henry Crane. Were going to nail him, I can ensure you of that. First and foremost, let us see what they have for us first." He'd go up to Rameriz, hoping that his literal laundry list of requests would have been finished by now. Although he had doubted that the forensics department would be so efficient, he could still hope, right? "We got everything processed yet? i can wait a bit, if necessary. but, I just wanted to come and check in on your progress so far." He had a laid back expression on his face now, as if he had gotten a quite heavy load off his chest. It was almost like confronting Greene met a lot more to him then just simply having a new piece of evidence to one of his many investigations... No, this proved a point that he had been wanting to prove for ages now. that cooperate isn't invincible from the law, that no one is.
"Fine, fine. Thank you for your time. However, we need to know everything. Is there anything else your withholding from us, perhaps?" He'd mumble something into his Radio. "Jones, i'll meet you back at the station. grab whatever you can that remains of note, and I'll be right there." He'd get upwards. "Here, if you think that you "Forgot" anything else. You can contact me from that number, I do hope you don't see this as too aggressive. However, you must understand why I care so much about little details like these. This may of been what I needed in order to prove someone guilty of their entire crime." He'd begin to leave after finishing his little monologue. for a detective from the industrial district, he sure had little to nothing to care for.. Just intimidating Greene like that without the slightest bit of hesitation to it, it was almost... Scary, in a sense. how little of a care he had facing off against someone as powerful as he was.
"No, but considering this is a company smartphone. I'm sure that the Tech Department would've had to be the one to put the password on this thing. And guess who's in charge of the entire company, and could easily pull up these documents? I'll have him begging for mercy by the end." Charles sounded SUPER pissed now, more so than before. Going all the way over to the elevator. "You finish going through these files, and try a few codes out. for now, i'm gonna go and confront Greene on his lies." He'd press the button, the document still in his hand as the elevator began to go upwards. Once the elevator hit the top, he knocked on the door and entered briskly. putting both Henry Crane's and Samuel Ryes Document. 'Tell me, what is this. If you had NO CLUE on who Samuel Rye was? You were about to be his client, right when he mysteriously died. OH, and you held a potential motive from us with Henry's document too. You do realize the seriousness that withholding this information could bring, correct? I'm not the bad guy here, but you have to understand."
"Well. Greene did say that we had full access to his casino and permission to investigate anything that seemed off. So.. I assume we can easily search through these files without any real objection. " He'd start to organize the folder back together, the one that was ripped in half. 'Jones, search through the other ones. i'll work on restoration and the like, It should be pretty easy. Even if it would be a bit time consuming to reorganize all of these various pieces.." He'd realign as much as he possibly could with his current tools, trying to at least make the document decipherable. 'Hm.. Check around with the phone too. It may hold some valuable contents regarding the victim's stock movements. Which seems to be a centralized part of the case at this rate, considering Henry Crane's obvious motive for killing the victim being based around the stock trade. We just need to find something to nail him, and maybe it can be proven that he had committed the murder.
You see him stare over at Jones for a few moments. 'Go and get that scanned. Alongside that, get this piece of paper to Forensics. It could hold extremely vital evidence. Use that... Err, thing. i forget what it's called, but its that restoration toolkit to try and salvage what was once on this message. use everything. UV Light, Restoration tools, I don't care. Just find a way to get the thing back to it's former state. Oh, and get that sword checked out too. If were to find anything on it that may lead us to the killer, it could be our decisive evidence. one last thing: This list, check it for any fake names. It shouldn't take too long, it should just be a quick database scan. Don't ask why, but I have a odd hunch if my theory is correct that things might go more than well for our investigation in the long run. However, we should go and check out the Dealing room." He'd wait a moment more, for anyone to say anything. before letting it drive off.
He gave Jones a look to keep a eye on Harry, before going back over to where Kate had previously been, taking another taxi in order to reach the police station and walking into the interrogation room to question her. "Hey, we have a report that you were trying to break into an abandoned subway last night. Conveniently around the same time our victim was a little more than dead, if my account is correct. I think that's a bit more than just "Staying at the casino and having a uneventful night", no?" He'd look at her with a...pretty intimidating look, one that could strike fear into even the most hardened of sociopaths. It was like he had just had enough of this case already and wanted to put a close to it as soon as he physically can. "So, are you gonna give us answers or are we gonna have to get the exact documents to show you as proof? I mean, I could extremely easily do that if it's what you desire. However, I think it'd be much easier for everyone if you just ended up confessing the truth about what you REALLY had done that night. I think a fine is a bit of a big detail to leave out, don't you agree with me?"
He'd let out a sigh, for a second. Looking at Henry Crane with a bit of.. Distaste. not enough for him to notice, but enough for Jones to pick up Chris didn't like the vibes coming off from him. "Anyways, do you happen to know anything about what had occurred this night? Your late partner had a rather... Unfortunate death, per say. Did you see anything strange? Mainly from him and the people around him, of course. We don't wanna be chasing smoke and mirrors." He said in his most polite tone possible, trying not to come off as too hostile to this man. Despite his clear Suspicion on him already, which were.. Admittingly completely unwarranted, no evidence was even starting to point towards this man in particular. "Ah, do you happen to use facial Cream. By the way? I know, that question is completely out of left field. But listen, I can ensure you that it is extremely, EXTREMELY important to our investigation as a whole. You do not have to answer, but it would be highly appreciated.
