Mission Time

Seeing the two ninken approach him, Shikaroku eyed them warily. He knew of the Inuzuka clan and their animals, and he knew just how unwise it was to try and treat them like simple street dogs, or pets. Bowing politely to Mia, he spoke briefly, "Your animals are quite impressive." After listening to Hiron's brief speech, Shikaroku nodded his head, grimacing on the inside. He hoped that he wouldn't let his team down, but he knew just how debilitating his migraines could get.

As they all headed out to the main gate, Shikaroku followed close behind. Hearing their mission caused Shikaroku to smile a little. It wasn't that he found it funny, nor did he think it was going to be too easy, but he was confident that this mission would not strain him to the point where the crippling pain would come back. Or, at least he hoped it wouldn't...

Dew Islet

Takeshi watched as his third student sauntered slowly up to the islet. From the boy's pace it was obvious that he was taking his time. Letting out a small sigh, Takeshi shook his head. He was going to have to change that. Laziness was not to be tolerated, unless of course it was by him... then it was okay. Turning his attention back to the two fighting students, Takeshi noticed that they were stopping their sparring match. So they had noticed the other boy show up. Sighing to himself, Takeshi stood. I suppose now is as good a time as any he thought to himself as he began moving through the mist towards the islet and his new students.

As he moved forwards, a thought occurred to him. Smiling devilishly, he gathered lightning in his fist and sent a low powered chidori spear towards the student who had shown up late. The attack would miss the student, by a hair, but it would certainly startle him. With that, Takeshi continued on his way towards the islet.
Sounds pretty sweet to me! I'm game!

The pain was intense.

Shikaroku was nearly doubled over as the migraine sent a new wave of pain crashing through his head. Once again he vomited violently. This had been one of his worst migraines in a long time. Steadying himself, Shikaroku wiped the vomit from his face. The pain subsided ever so slightly and Shikaroku finally managed to stand. His legs shaking underneath him, Shikaroku made his way to the door of his room. He was supposed to have met up with his new team already, but he had stressed himself out, and as a result, the migraine had coming sweeping in. Not for the first time that day, Shikaroku considered taking the special pills that he kept hidden in his pocket. It would remove the pain he knew, but he also did not want to rely on the medication, especially when he was meeting his team for the first time.

Pausing at the door, Shikaroku calmed himself. The migraine had dulled to a steady throbbing pain, he could handle that for now. He'd have to. Leaving his room, Shikaroku grabbed his tools and equipment, and headed out the door of his home.

Making his way down the streets towards the training fields, Shikaroku tried to keep his thoughts flowing, rather than focusing on anything in particular. It usually helped to stop the migraines. By the time he had made it to the fields, his migraine was almost entirely faded. Stepping out he noticed his whole team already there. Shikaroku looked around sheepishly at his new teammates and his sensei. Raising a hand he spoke briefly. "Hi, I'm Shikaroku Nara. It's... nice to meet you all." He lowered his hand slowly and waited for them to respond.

Dew Island

A small smile touched his lips as Takeshi watched two of his new students, Ryu and Natsume it looked like, prepare to spar. He had been sitting on the water for some time, simply watching as his two students spoke to each other. Takeshi thought about getting up and introducing himself, but he instead decided to wait and see what came of their sparring match. It was always interesting getting an idea of how people would fight, and Takeshi thought now was a good enough time to find out some more about the two students.

And so he sat, shrouded in the mist, waiting for his third student to arrive. As he sat lazily on the water's surface, Takeshi's thoughts briefly traveled to Mika Hayashi. He wondered how she was faring with her new students. The thought made him shiver slightly, he already felt sorry for them. Turning back to the action ahead of him, Takeshi watched to see how things developed.
