In my opinion, once you've been RPing long enough you get a feel for what you should and shouldn't do. I find most people are actually responsible about this. Anyways, I'm actually really interested in this. You can count me in as long as you don't mind my inconsistency with logging on.

Indeed, but it's probably worth stating just to make things clear, and avoid any possible confusion.

I suppose I'll count you in, then.

If the game is great, a lot of money.

A big if.

More likely, they're going to release some half-assed game to cash in on the notoriety of the original Shaq-fu.

Sounds kinda interesting, but I also worry that with powers left unchecked like that, everyone could get waaay OP. I'll keep an eye on this; what level were you thinking? Free/Casual/Advanced?

Well, mostly Casual standards, really. I'm not going to force anyone to write paragraphs upon paragraphs, but I also really dislike one-liners and posts that lack in substance. As long as you're descriptive enough that everyone else can figure out what you're doing, and actually doing something plot-wise, you can be as short or long as you want.

As far as powerlevels go, there's no real limit to what you can have as long as your character remains interesting. Because setting a strict limit on a setting that thrives on being over-the-top like this just seems wrong. I guess you could say your powers scale in relation to character development, and as long as these powers don't make things boring, then you may have them.

Of course, I'll rule out anything that seems too godmodder-ish (like immunity to evertying[sic]), unless you really convince me. If someone ends up godmodding anyways, then measures will be taken, ranging from a stern warning to retroactively pretending he never existed. I hope it doesn't actually have to go that far, and trust you guys to use your better judgement to keep things fun. Because an awfully dangerous world, is no fun if it's not actually dangerous.

Does that make sense?

Nay. The question has no correct answers. Nor does it lead to any kind of contradiction, though it may seem like it. Lets work at it.

If you ask about picking something at random from a set, you need to know how many times it appears, and how many total elements are in the list. In other words, you need to know the proportion of that given something in a list.

So, we can evaluate the odds of picking a certain answer at random by dividing the amount of times it appears over the total amount of answers, and multiplying by 100 to get a percent value. If this value is indeed what the answer states, only then is the answer correct.

Lets write down an equation to describe this a little better.

(i/a) * 100 = x ; where x is the percentage given in the answer, i is the amount of times x appears in the list, and a is the total number of elements in the list.

If you plug in the numbers, and the result is some True mathematical statement, then that is indeed the correct answer.

So, if the question were the same, but the answers were:

A)50%
B)25%

Then the answer would safely be A, as it indeed is 50% of the list. (1/2 * 100 = 50% is True)

Now, if we look at the actual answers:

A)25%
B)50%
C)60%
D)25%

And then looked at how much of each question constitutes space in the list:

A)50% (A and D are equivalent, so we can say it appears twice and omit D.)
B)25%
C)25%

We find that none of the answers has a value equal to the proportion of which they show up in. Therefore, none of them are correct answers, and the Professor is a sneaky bastard for posing this question. Q.E.D.
That is really great, assuming anything ever happens.
If you've ever seen any movie/game/series where the world is desolate and everyone is dead, then you're halfway to what this RP is about. This is set a few centuries after the end, where society has somewhat bounced back, and things are functioning again, to some degree. Almost nothing resembles the old world, but the mail works, kids go to school, and you do not have to worry about roving gangs of bandits on motorcycles. At least not on a day to day basis. In other words, things are relatively fine, at least for a substantial amount of people.

That said, everything is layered in dust and rust, and there are plenty of ruins and bombed out cities, and buildings covered in vegetation, to the point where a great deal of land is still far from recovery. That doesn't stop people from living there however, and cities built literally on the ruins of other cities are not uncommon. Other tracts of land are covered in chemical spills, baked in radiation, patrolled by killer robots, occupied by sentient fungi, claimed by zombies, or trapped in a temporal flux, rendering them fully uninhabitable for the time being. For most people anyways.

So apparently life in a world which is trying to kill all humans is very hard. Which is why humanity evolved superpowers. Several centuries of living in a radioactive hellhole has caused most survivors to develop superhuman abilities. Those who didn't and managed to survive anyways, have at least become skilled enough at surviving that they still count as superhuman. Bullet-dodging, walk-on-walls levels of superhuman. To keep up with the people who shoot fire from their hands and lasers from their eyes.

To recap: Civilization is no longer in any danger of going extinct, but the world is still pretty screwed up. On the other hand, most people are badass enough to deal with it. Its a fairly tongue-in-cheek setting, not entirely serious, where pretty much anything goes as long as its cool. I've got some plot hooks planned, but nothing to stop people from just doing their own thing.

So, anyone interested?
At least they're not all government owned revolutionary channels who do not shut the fuck up about how amazing and revolutionary the government is. And how everyone who thinks otherwise are awful human beings who are literally trying to depose the beloved leader.

In other words, at least you have bias in both directions. I have to troll people on Facebook to get meaningful information.
It looks like a cool game. Unfortunately, looks like I'd have to pay money in order to play it.

Also, it seems to be pretty much identical to Cataclysm, but with actual graphics and actual floors. Minus the L4D ripoff zombies, of course. And the creepy as all hell lovecraftian stuff.

There is a subscription button. It lets you know when things are happening.
"Well, I'm new here, so I just wanted to know," She said, crossing her arms. "I'll just come back when I'm ready, no big deal." He had a point. Jiggly was glancing left and right, it's huge wobbly eyes darting all over the place. It'd be a while before she could go ghost-busting or the like. Then again, it's not as though she was in any hurry.

She heard a squeaky 'Hello' resonate in her mind, like a sound that was right next to her and far away at the same time. A psychic type? Odd for certain. She turned around, to see some sort of green blob embryo pokemon. She'd never seen one before. Definitely not a native species. 'Do you have any food?', she heard. So it was a beggar, too. She had to investigate further.

"Well, I don't have any food on me right now, but I could easily get you some," she replied. "What's your name, if you don't mind me asking?"
