Los Paraisos : Outside Pellagio Hotel

Whatever she had done last night must’ve angered somebody up there because this day was just getting worse and worse. Aria twitched as the crowd started to swarm away from her and the naked man beside her both to keep away from the public indecency Chirps currently was and to make way for the security to reach them. Should they stay obediently or make a run for the hotel?

The answer was clear.

“Move it!” She hissed, grabbing the ranger’s arm and pushing into the crowd, throwing another illusion up as to shield them from the sights of the people around them. No doubt she was going to have a heck of a migraine later from trying to keep up an illusion that had to change rapidly to match their surrounding while trying not to trip over anybody’s legs. She also tried not to focus on the fact that Chirps was still very much naked as she dragged him after her- she really didn’t need that mental image.

Somehow they made it to the lobby with much pushing and shoving, barging in through the doors that were closing behind a fancily dressed couple. A quick glance behind her on tiptoes over the heads of more paparazzi (why was this placed packed anyways? Ugh, all the noise was just killing her head) told her that the security was very much stuck in the crowd of flashing cameras and screaming people, allowing her to give a sigh of relief and dispel the illusion easily as the hotel lobby was no less busy, meaning that two people appearing out of the blue shouldn't draw too much attention.

She gave a whine when her head throbbed painfully again, leaning her forehead on a cool marble pillar nearby. If this day got any worse she swore she was just going to march up to her room and refuse to come out for… the next week or so. Yeah, that sounded good.
A quick post before heading off to bed :'D

That video, Pach @_@ That. Video.

Los Paraisos: Streets

Aria muttered to herself angrily as she strode down the streets, hands wringing at her scarf twisted loosely around her arms. This had not been shaping up to be a good day, with her waking up on a random roof wearing Chirps’ clothing, finding Chirps in a pile of hay all but naked, and later being found by Xan who had somehow ended up as a clown last night. She wondered how the others were faring- had they ended up similar situations as well?

“Hotel… sleep… sounds good… but… Aria… give me my clothes. You… can have your dress back…”

Hadn’t he noticed that the dress was an illusion yet? She frowned and took a breath to reply, but ended up inhaling the scent of burnt wood and metal. Coughing, she looked up only to see a large crowd of onlookers blocking off their path as they surrounded the blackened husk of a building. A very familiar building.

Wait… Isn’t that… the restaurant?”

And indeed it was. The Hell’s Kitchen restaurant where they had dined only the day before had been reduced to nothing more than charred remains. The three could only stare up at the blackened sign above the building in shock.

Had anyone been hurt? And wasn’t the head chef Moira’s brother? “Excuse me, but what happened here?” Aria approached the crowd and asked one of the men who was observing the building.

“Huh? Oh, the restaurant caught fire last night.” The man had eyed her baggy ensemble for a second but thankfully chose not to comment. “It was after it had closed so I don’t think anybody got hurt though.” He rubbed at his chin, then gestured to the police walking around the place. “They’re still trying to find the cause of the fire. I think they said it was a stove that got left on, but from what I’ve seen of him the head chef was always careful about things like safety despite the amount of plates he chucks around.”

With a quick thanks she returned to the other two, still refusing to look at Chirps and addressing Xan instead of what she had learned. Really, all of these things happening did nothing to soothe her throbbing head.

“We should go back and inform the others. Xan, do you know if there’s a shortcut back to the hotel?”
Woaaaah Rex :0 Wiki pages for Xan and Ari scream did you make them thank yooooooou <333

And these poor, poor guilders. Drunken shenanigans, shotgun weddings, and babies probably weren't what they were expecting when they heard 'resort' :'D

Los Paraisos: Streets

"What on earth?"

Uh oh.

Aria froze at that familiar voice, unwilling to turn around to face Xan. She was no doubt going to get a lecture from the stern girl about getting drunk off her feet and waking up in strange places and how she deserved it, followed up by a report to Tiberius or something similar. Or maybe instead of reports, Xan would hold this little incident as blackmail the next time she tried to skip a job.

Wincing, she turned slowly only to gape at the state her friend was in. The usually down to earth Xan was clad in a dripping and muddy clown outfit, complete with large red shoes, sagging frills and makeup dripping down her face. Aria’s eyes scanned over the marker scribbles all over her face and arms, and back to the young woman’s understandably upset look.

Aria, while normally might have burst laughing, was in too much shock to even move for a moment, only broken out of her reverie by the pained groans from the ranger by her foot who she had all but nearly forgotten about.

“What the hell… happened… to you…? And why are you… wearing my clothes…? Did… did we…?” His face flopped back onto the ground. “And where the hell… did this dress… come from…?”

She deadpanned down at him. “The dress came from me not wanting to be associated with a pervert running down the street naked.” Then she peered at him questioningly. “Did we? Did we what?” What did he mean by that? The only logical reason for her to wake up wearing his clothes and him wearing her scarf is that last night they obviously-

Oh.

OH.

OHHOLYGODSABOVENONONONONOWAYTHEREWASNOWAY

Her face reddened and her expression shifted into something between anger and mortification, hands tightening around her scarf until her knuckles were white. Did they? No, there was no way, right? Even if she had been drunk out of her wits to do something like that was impossible. Flirting was acceptable, maybe even a little bit of kissing, but that? Nope. Nopenopenope. She couldn't tell whether the nausea was from the thought or the hangover.

“Ha- haha, you’re funny Chirps,” she managed to choke out, fingers twitching . After realizing what the man had been insinuating she was flat out refusing to look at him, eyes instead trained on an advertisement proclaiming the sale of some nearby shop. “Of course we didn’t. Nope. Just because we’re wearing each other’s clothes doesn’t mean anything. Now let’s go back already so I can go take a shower and get changed into something that doesn’t smell like booze!” She whipped around and started walking, not caring at all that if Chirps failed to follow he’d end up in nothing but his birthday suit again. “C’mon Xan, let’s go!”
OMG DON I CAN'T EVEN WAT

Also poor, poor Chirps.
Just posted!

Take good care of the cute baby, Tae :'D

Los Paraisos: Streets

Aria’s face reddened almost immediately after Chirps tumbled out of the hay, immediately noticing the lack of clothing on his body apart from her scarf. Her poor, poor scarf. She squeaked and covered her eyes, having seen waaaaay too much of Chirps than she had ever wanted to. Before she could demand an answer of why exactly he was naked and for him to give her scarf back, a loud scream interrupted her and she felt a breeze whip right past her and she opened her eyes only to see a very naked figure streaking through the streets.

“My scarf!” Aria gave an anguished cry at her most beloved clothing disappearing from view and quickly gave chase, sprinting after the fleeing man. “Get back here, Chirps! Give it back!”

The two rounded a busier street, and almost immediately shrieks from other visitors pierced through Aria’s still vaguely pounding head. She covered her ears, wincing, before summoning up the energy to throw up a quick illusion of one of her dresses around the still running man. if later asked why she had chosen one of her dresses instead of something like a bathrobe, she would answer that it was because in her hungover state it was the first thing she thought of, but in truth it was also partly because she was slightly upset over the fact that she would no doubt need to disinfect her scarf after this whole ordeal was over. Did he have any idea how long that would take? It’s not like he could complain; iIt would certainly be a pain if he was arrested for indecent exposure with everything flapping everywhere, and she certainly didn’t want to be the one to explain the situation for security.

Now how to get him to stop running?

Before she could conjure up another illusion of, say, a wall or a hoard of angry chickens to block his path, Chirps promptly tripped, most likely taken off guard by the sudden appearance of the clothing around him. He landed on his face with a painful thud and Aria quickly caught up, quickly unwinding the fluffy scarf from around the ranger’s neck with one hand and the other on the waist of the loose cargo pants that had been continuously slipping during their little chase.

“What is wrong with you, running off like that?” She huffed, frowning down heavily as she leaned against a building, trying to rub away the headache that had only been aggravated by the run. “Naked, too!” She was not in a good mood; usually when she was hungover she would just take some painkillers and rest, but this morning had been ridiculously hectic and she hadn’t even been awake for an hour! She wondered how everyone else was doing as she nudged the prone man with a foot, irritated. “If you don’t get up I’m leaving you behind. Naked.”
I may have to drop out as well ; - ; I'm not sure if I have enough time to keep up, especially since it's only going to get busier for me as exams creep up. I didn't want to drop but since I probably won't be able to do my share of writing efficiently it would probably be best to drop before I have a chance to slow you guys down.

Best of luck with this RP! Hopefully we'll have a chance to roleplay together again sometime in the future.

Los Paraisos: ???

‘‘Owowow…’’ Aria groaned as she sat up slowly, rubbing at her pounding head. From many previous experiences she was pretty much one hundred percent sure that the painful headache and dry and fuzzy feeling mouth were the symptoms of a bad hangover, but this was certainly a hangover on a scale she had experienced before. Exactly what had happened last night? The last thing she remembered was… Aria sat back and leaned against a nearby chimney, trying to remember-

Wait. Waitwaitwaitwait.

A nearby chimney?

Her eyes snapped open, almost immediately squinting back shut at the light of the morning sun. After another few attempts her eyes finally adjusted to the brightness, and she could only stare in confusion.

What the heck had possessed the drunken her to spend the night on a random rooftop?

She staggered to her feet using the chimney for balance, wincing as her back cracked from a night spent in an uncomfortable position and somehow managing to stay upright despite the wobbliness in her legs. A quick scan of her body quickly showed that her location was not the only thing that had changed overnight.

The dress that she had been wearing last night had somehow been changed for a large orange shirt, baggy cargo pants and a red scarf in place of her usual feathered one. A quick scan of the rooftops showed no sign of her clothing, but did manage to dislodge a very familiar white bandana from her head that fluttered softly down to the shingles on the roof along with a few feathers of the same color, causing her usually tied-up hair to fall loose.

Actually, this whole ensemble seemed strangely familiar… Oh Gods wait just a moment isn’t this-

Aria had all but frozen into place, staring down at what was undoubtedly Chirps’ guilder outfit. How the heck had she even gotten her hands on these, and what the fuck had made her change into them? He hadn't even been wearing this outfit last night! Especially if her suspicions had been right about him only owning one set of this outfit and wearing it every day- ew ew ew no she did not need to think about that. At least instead of stinking like sweat and other gross things, they merely carried a faint scent of alcohol no doubt imbibed during yesterday’s festivities, of which she still remembered nothing.

After a moment’s consideration she tied her hair back with the white bandanna (as much as she was loathe to wear it, she didn’t want Chirps to scream at her for losing it later and she was at loss for a hair tie) and slowly started to move across the rooftops with a determined frown towards their hotel that she could see in the distance between two tall buildings, taking care not to trip over any ledges or fall off. First thing right now was to go back and refresh, before hunting down a certain ranger and hoping he had information on the whereabouts of her scarf. The dress she couldn’t care less about but her scarf was special, not to mention fluffy.

After a few rooftops she finally managed to find a ladder to climb down (thanks Gods for random, conveniently placed ladders) and stumbled into the alleyway. Making her way into the streets, she passed by a strangely located haybale. Normally she would have passed it right by, but what caught her eye was a tuft of black glossy feathers sticking up from it. A very, very certain kind of black feathers. Fluffy black feathers. Her scarf!

She quickly moved towards it, a hand reaching out and grabbing the tuft carefully. Half of her scarf followed- "Aha!" A victorious grin was given, but quickly followed by a frown when the scarf snagged as if it were caught onto something. A few more tugs failed to dislodge it and not wanting to damage the scarf Aria pushed away some of the hay to find out exactly what it had snagged on. In hindsight, she probably should have seen it coming but at the moment she was unsuspecting of what the hay would reveal.
