I do hope you're being obtuse. Maybe you simply don't realize that you're doing the equivalent of telling a rape victim that at least he or she "got some" or pushing a person in a wheelchair over and laughing because they can't get up or writing a story about Nazis beating Jews and claiming that it's slapstick. It's a dangerous and treacherous footing, glorifying another person's problems for amusement.

*Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh* You're reeeeeeeeeeeally gonna go there?

I can't begin to tell you how terrifying it is to awaken somewhere else, having no memory of what you've done in the past or what it's like being told by others what you had done.

You're wrong. I know that feeling all too well. I have epilepsy, and whenever I have a grand mal seizure, I black out, and have no memory of what happened for five minutes prior and everything after is fuzzy as hell. My uncle drowned from epilepsy. Instant Death Seizures also exist. But if someone were to create a character that had epilepsy, I wouldn't object. Creative freedom.

But you know what, fuck it. I'm bored of this discussion. Mistress, take Aya off of active duty permanently. I'm replacing her with another character (by the way, this guys powers are slightly illogical. But you're gonna hafta deal with it).

And I'm not angry. Seriously. I'm just bored of defending fiction.

Edit: On second thought.... maybe we're looking at this wrong. Why not change the backstory a bit so that somehow whoever the alternate personality actually belongs to someone, maybe it's someone in a coma... or someone who was dying. Thus the Professor would focus not on curing Aya but helping the two co-exist until somehow, via mutant power or technology, the ability to separate them becomes available.

Um... Rather than look at this from a logical and reality-based angle, can we look at this from a fictional angle. You're kinda taking all the fun of this out for me. And I know true mental diseases aren't fun, but this isn't supposed to be an accurate reflection of reality. For Christ's sake, this is a world of mutants. Why put a real spin on it? Shit, if that's the case, why isn't Deadpool on meds?

Also, (as I stated previously) Aya is a mash-up of Tea and Ayame's pre-murder-of-Ariel-self, May is all the anger she has at herself directed toward the rest of the world... and herself, and Discharge is a personification of the mental unbalance she's suffering from having two extremes in her mind. The mediator. Discharge basically exists to lessen the burden of stress May's presence places on Aya, therefore preventing rapid shifts from one to the other, and (for the most part) keeping Aya in charge. Also I wanna break the fourth wall, and Discharge is perfect for that.
Okay... um... not what I want. So let's not do that. As dick as it is to say this, I'd rather her retain her personalities, because it's more... um... fun. Sorry. It's like Eminem's Monster "I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed. Get along with the voices inside of my head" I'll be honest, that, Yuno Gasai (Her: ), Deadpool, and Jaime Foxx' Electro were my inspiration for Ayame Denzan.
Speaking of, how would you like to handle that? What should the prof do to help her with her new... roommates.
Military?
According to Blazey, we handled that perfectly, Shurikai.
Huh? OH! Nonononononnonono! I wasn't trying to be condescending, and I'm reeeeeally sorry if it came off like that. I just didn't know if you knew what the MCU was (my aunt still can't tell the difference and she's seen them all). I'm sorry.

Wouldn't be Marvel's first flop. Also, I'm heading back "home" for two weeks. I'll have my laptop with me, it's a pretty boring place when you're not...well, being a good person. So, for me, this time around will probably remain pretty boring. I shouldn't really fall behind too behind. Even though, as I write this, I am actually behind.

I meant Marvel Studios. You know? The Marvel Cinematic Universe starting with Iron Man? And no, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, and Iron Man 3 don't count as flops because they more than broke even.
Not that I know of.
Don't worry. Damo is working on the reboot. He just has a lot on his plate right now.
