It was time for one of THOSE dreams again. Sachiko's dreams were usually of things that related to the day's events, but these were always the exception. Her only wish was that she could bring herself to interact with them more. She had an intense desire to poke fun at the man called Igor's nose. It was so ridiculous! But she never did speak. Only listened. She, like a few others, reached out to take a card. Sachiko couldn't help but be excited at the prospect of something other than more and more nonsensical rambling occurring in one of these funky visions. She took the card and looked at it. It depicted a moon. Before she could contemplate the meaning, she found herself wide awake. She giggled a little at how seriously she seemed to be taking what went on there. She imagined it would amount to nothing much in the long run, and clambered out of bed to begin the new day.
One look at her calendar made Sachiko's eyes light up. It was Kaminari's birthday! Today would have at least one pleasant event in it. She had already prepared a present to give to him and everything. She was a little disappointed she hadn't heard of any plans to throw a celebration for him. She would've planned one herself, but she had a feeling she had spent enough money on the present. Her family wasn't poor, but she sure wasn't made of money. But Kaminari was almost always busy anyways, so a party would probably be a wasted effort. A lack of festivities wasn't going to stop her from tracking him down and delivering her present, however! She gathered up the present and exited her house, breaking into a skipping motion when she was out on the street.
"You!" Sachiko's shout upon finding Kami would disrupt the usual quiet of the park. "You should not be so hard to find on your own birthday!" Sachiko had first gone by his house, and found it empty. So she resolved to check out his usual haunts to find him. Because she wasn't letting the opportunity to give a friend a gift pass without going to all lengths necessary. She was just glad she had the luck to find him before he had to go do detective things or whatever kept him busy on his own birthday. Coming closer to him, she continued talking. "Anyway! Here you go!" She handed him the present, which was presently wrapped. "I pre-ordered you the latest in the Chief Inspector Gamache series. I don't know what it's about, but I heard it's highly acclaimed and I know you love your detective stuff. Happy birthday, Kami! NOW PREPARE YOURSELF!" She quickly closed in and gave him a strong hug. This was another birthday tradition she never missed an opportunity to perform.
Well, I do apologise for using the word psychopath to describe them. It's just that, of course, those people would always play the insanity card to justify killing and raping and doing as they please. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone make a character that could be described as a legitimate psychopath and also be something other than a murderous creep or at least exceedingly aggressive. Kinda made it easy to think "oh look another generic psychopath" when, yet again, someone made a character that wants to run around killing people.

So yeah, sorry in case the phrase was a poor choice of words on my part.
Kamiria Haruhino

Right punch, left punch, right kick, left kick. It was nothing more than a basic exercise, but it was one Kamiria had been performing many times over in recent days. Maybe she would never be the greatest taijutsu master ever, but she sure wanted to give herself a better chance in a fight than that of a sickly, frail girl. Her new diet hadn't been a huge change, since she wasn't a big eater even before she went to meet with Waki, but she was definitely eating in a much more regimented fashion. Certainly no casual snacks, not even a once-off bite of anything unhealthy, and plenty of water, especially after a good workout. Sometimes she wondered if she wasn't taking to all this with more zeal than had been intended. But if that was true, it couldn't be anything but a good thing. She wouldn't become much better by taking the safe route.

She had been taking a rest for a while when she felt a familiar sensation. When you spend a long time around a single person, and have a knack for sensing things in general, it's not impossible to know when they're approaching your location. Niji was arriving, and Kamiria would put money on the other person not far from her being their Sensei, Kazuma. It was time to get to business. She was already coming outside when the pair of them showed up on her doorstep. "Niji, Sensei...." She began. Then she knelt on the ground before them. "I must apologise. The last time I was with you, I was nothing but a burden on the team and contributed nothing productive. If you would both forgive me, I vow to do my best not to be a waste of your time."

@Cuco: IT'S AN AKATSUKI FULL OF JOKERS!!! F'real though, there's only one Joker, but way too many people try to recreate his dynamic.

How appropriate, since it was a Naruto RP I was talking about XD

Amazingly enough, the Akatsuki wasn't that bad in that particular game. To me, the worst was the three characters made by one guy to comprise the highest level members of Kumogakure. All prepared to fight and kill for whatever reason, and also loyal to one another for whatever reasons (given it was 2.5 years ago this happened, you might forgive my hazy memory).

This in general pisses me off for personal reasons, straight into the special kind of evil category and dropkicked off my RP's without warning. One does not simply generic psychopath. Now this doesn't stop me from allowing others to try making genuinely mentally unstable characters, but I'm plainly uncomfortable when others make mindless monsters out of those who have traits that I also have.If that makes sense.

I'm not sure I follow you. Like, you reckon you're a bit unstable, and find it offensive when people poorly represent such a thing?
Brovo said A lot of evil characters are actually written poorly, often given no motivation for why they do the things that they do, or coming up with hair brained schemes that any fifth grader could defeat with a little bit of common sense. Most often evil is used as a shitscreen shield for doing random, depraved acts for no more reason than to be "edgy" or "cool". It's to the point that when people say they want to join any of my RP's with an "evil" character, I will probably shoot them down unless I know them well enough to trust them.Because, really, no, it's not cool to join a story for the sole purpose of wanting to murder your fellow players when that's not the purpose of the plot whatsoever.

This used to be one of my chief gripes. I once ran with this group where more than a few people would create, as I called them, "generic psychopaths". They generally just happened to be insane and capable of all kinds of cruelty, yet also balanced and logical enough to fight efficiently and make sound decisions in general. It was even worse when they made a small group of them that had no real reason to show loyalty to one another, but fought as a pack because, of course, they were all the writer's little pets >.> And naturally, they found any excuse they could to start a fight and get someone killed. No one ever seemed to get terribly fussed about it until they were explicitly targeted, though XD

It's been a really long time since I've actually encountered someone who's done this, however.
Okay, I'm sure done now.
"That was not nothing! Hey, don't-" She first wanted to try and stop Ayano from leaving. But, something in her just decided to let it go. In the mood she was in, she just decided that she had enough of today herself, and left without saying a word to the others. She even shocked her parents upon her return by storming straight into her room and keeping them out. It was the first time she had done that for a very long time. With time, Sachiko calmed down, but then, she started to feel bad about what she had done. Although she still felt that Ayano's attitude was ridiculous, it wasn't becoming of her to treat her with aggression. Ayano was still a friend, even if she didn't think of any of them the same way. When she thought about it, Sachiko realised she knew where that bout of anger had come from. That meant this night was time for another first in a long while.....she was going to write in her diary. She only had the one, and hadn't written in it for a good year or two. For good reason, as it was filled with.....painful thoughts. It was there to be filled with painful thoughts. But once written down, Sachiko always found them easier to lock away.

When she eventually decided to head to sleep, she had one final thought about what had happened today. Ayano's behavior was hardly appropriate, and she still neither understood it nor condoned it. And if it had made Kami uncomfortable, that much was certainly unacceptable. She had to do something. Because, no matter what, she was still her friend. They all were.
Personally, I would at least like to see the arcade scene to a relative conclusion. Seeing as Haru-Nyan is almost certainly going to post when I'm asleep, that would mean putting it off for at least another day.

And make a metric ton of bear puns.

That sounds unbearable.

This is plot related stuff though... With all the drama, social links and such.

Yes, I'm sure our emotional nonsense is of exceeding importance to the cult XD

I remember one Persona RP on the old site that planned to make social links an actual thing by way of them giving people boosts in combat etc. No idea if Roxas has similar plans.

EDIT: When I think about it, I suppose our drama might be used by the cult to try and manipulate us or something, but it will still be the cult's actions that make the focal point of the plot.
