Nora heard the sounds of airships ringing out through the village. A sound like that was easy to hear in a place that lacked any kind of crowds and activity. At first, she just figured that airship Jude mentioned had decided to land closer to the village. Then, someone else came crashing into the bar to deliver the terrible news.

"It's the Crucible! They've come to Krukow!"

"Alfred......you better have gotten drunk before coming in here."

"No, it's true! You can see with your own eyes!"

Nora once again went outside to check what was going on. But with every step, she just hoped that she wasn't going to see what she was told she would see. However, there they were, Crucible soldiers, headed straight for the square. ".....Fuck." Was all Nora said before racing back inside. "Bar's closed, boys. Get your arses out of here and go tell your loved ones you care before they get beaten to death!" Everyone had already heard the Crucible were here, and they knew she wasn't kidding around. Even in Krukow, they had all heard the stories. A huge, conquering empire that left nothing but misery in their wake could hardly exist without a reputation that preceded them by 1000 leagues. Nora wasn't hanging around on the off chance the sole battalion of less than merciless Crucible soldiers had been chosen to occupy Krukow. She was getting out of here, even if it meant hiding in the woods.

She had already grabbed the suitcase she used for supply runs in Kuiper and was stuffing it with as much as it could carry. Her money, her snacks, and some hooch for good measure. If she couldn't find anyone to sell it to, she could always drink it herself. In the midst of her hasty packing, some of her more extensively inebriated customers started getting in her way.

"Hey! The bar ain't supposed to close for another good few hours! I want a fuckin' DRINK!"

"Are you serious? The Crucible will crack your skulls open for looking in their general direction, and you want to keep drinking?"

"Aaaaah, fuck the crewsable, they ain't that tough!"

"Well...." It was time for Nora to think on her feet. "If you beat a Crucible soldier in a fist fight, I'll give you all the alcohol in this bar!"

"Fuck yeah! Let's go!" The drunkards charged out of the bar and off to whatever fate awaited them. Nora could only hope they would provide adequate distraction while she got the heck out of Krukow.
Haru Nyan said On a more serious note, try to imagine a mix between Shadow Rise and Shadow Mitsuo.

This went somewhere very disturbing for me. See, I thought Mitsuo, baby shadow, Rise, stripper shadow, thus together equals baby stri-EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
Any hope for a chance to interrogate Kami after the park owner finally left quickly faded when Sachiko experienced a sharp pain in her temples. The hell was going on today? Ayano, this creepy park owner, and now spontaneous migraines? It seemed as though all three of them had experienced the same bout of pain. But hey, wouldn't you know it, before she had the chance to say a word, they were being led away to speak with yet another of these carnival nutcases. And this one wanted them to watch the house of mirrors for no particular reason. Sachiko was in half a mind to stop him and demand an explanation, but he just ran away. It was like people were just trying to bewilder her at every turn. And then, a scream came from within the house. Kami seemed to instinctually decide they would have to go in and help. Sachiko really wanted to protest, but then he started dragging them both by the hand again!

At this point, Sachiko really was suppressing the urge to just stop everyone and rant and rave about how ridiculous this all was. But, if someone really was in danger, she supposed they needed to try and do something. She would've preferred that they took the time to tell someone though. Maybe even call the police. Who knew what was going on in here? This place had been nothing but bizarre since they had come here, and she was feeling really unsettled in this blighted house of mirrors. Suddenly, Kami stopped, making Sachiko squeak a little. She hadn't been expecting it at all, and being in here had put her on edge. He claimed to have seen something odd. Sachiko hadn't. She didn't want to investigate either. She was going to suggest they all leave right now. And then....something reached out and grabbed Kami. "What the fuck!?" Was the first thing to come bellowing out of Sachiko's mouth. She had little time to process the sight before she felt herself being grabbed from behind. "WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUU-" She screamed, until was pulled all the way back into the mirror.

And then she was gone.
"C'mon guys, I was just kidding..." She said in response to how seriously they took her. Surely they ought to know she of all people wouldn't actually demand an apology over something so small? Of course, it didn't seem to be much of a problem because Kami quickly gathered them both up and dragged them off to whatever destination he had in mind.

Is this what it feels like when I drag people around? Man.......I had no idea how fun this could be!

As it turned out, they were headed to an amusement park. Sachiko had wanted to come to this place since she heard it had opened. It was fitting that they would come here on Kami's birthday. Plus, she was sure it would probably take his mind off all the drama, if only for the day. She did kinda wonder about this place, though. She had always thought Warakuma was supposed to be a small town, but they somehow managed to sustain things like carnivals and arcades. She would've wondered about this a bit more, but Kami was explaining what he knew about the place, and it would be rude not to listen. It seemed he was excited about the park, which was a good sign. When Kami's phone went off, she didn't think it would be anything too important. But then, in a rather blasé fashion, he said that Ayano had contacted him. "Wait, wha-" Was all she could utter before they were up to get into the park. Sachiko was more than a little baffled. Wasn't Ayano supposed to be avoiding them? When did she start contacting Kami? Just now? And he didn't seem all that fazed about the woman he was crying about just a little while before contacting him? She would've started to ask questions about it, but they were approached by some strange man. He claimed to be the owner of the park. At first, Sachiko was only half listening, because she was still wondering about this Ayano business, but this man was really acting strange. He asked for their names, too.

"Oh, uh, Sachiko Mogami, pleased to meet you." She shook his hand when he offered it. She kinda hoped he only wanted to greet them, cause she was hoping to starting asking about the sudden communique from Ayano.
There's still room. Go ahead and make an app for one of the empty persona spots. Or feel free to take a non-persona user if you want.
Anyone who isn't adverse to getting drunk in a seedy bar is free to come on down to Nora's! She'll appreciate your money company!
There was always activity at Nora's little bar. There was always someone that felt like drinking, even when it wasn't entirely appropriate. Sometimes vice was just a little too strong for people to ignore. That kind of behavior was probably why some people looked on her locale with suspicion, considering her a vile temptress that led otherwise pure citizens into a life of debauchery and sin. Of course, she didn't care about the rumors and the slander. As long as these drunks were prepared to pay, she was prepared to provide. But, even though someone was always here, it was usually the same old pack of drunks that comprised her regulars. She had heard most of their stories already, and she knew there wasn't much point in engaging them in conversation. It really did get mighty boring passing out liquor to the same faces every day. Sometimes she wondered what she wouldn't give if a better opportunity would just waltz right in through the front door....

"I saw airship!" The cry came from someone who had barreled in through the front door. "A big one! It landed to the north!"

"Jude, what did I tell you about getting drunk BEFORE coming here?"

"I swear it's true! And now the Rift Hunters are milling about the town! Come look!"

Nora got up from her lazy position at the bar to take a look outside. This sounded too exciting to possibly be happening in the boondock town of Krukow, but Jude sure sounded het up about it. And he was telling the truth. Nora could see a few of those Maximus fellas making their way to the town hall. It didn't confirm that there was an airship on the island, but it did mean Jude wasn't completely full of it.

"Hmmm...." Was all Nora uttered before returning to her seat.

"That's it? You're not going to look any closer?"

"What's the point? If it's a problem, the hunter boys will take care of it. With luck, maybe there'll be a bunch of thirsty crewmen with fat wallets coming to the only place for good hooch in town. But else, I really don't give a damn."

And that was that. Jude eventually let go of his excitement and settled in for a drink himself. Nora was just going to wait, keep serving drinks, and see if anything profitable would come of this.
I once decided that an RP I had a hand in creating could go hang, but it wasn't so much that I hated the idea and more that I hated how the group had turned out. That being how the characters in the RP acted, or how they were managed by their players. I just couldn't stand to be a part of it anymore, so I just let it fall when it started go inactive.

I also called it quits on an RP I started once, but again, it wasn't that I hated the RP, but felt that I couldn't really accomplish what I had set out to do. I had wanted to have a sort of faction dynamic going on, but eventually there was too few people to have meaningful divisions.

x_x I go away to do group work and I'm greeted with this...What...exactly is this? What's going on? D:

This thread is here because Savo decided to take initiative and make a thread where he can edit the OP. That way we can carry on in spite of Roxas deciding to ditch out.

Everyone can just post in the IC of this thread like they did in the old one, carrying on from where we were in the old one. We still need to work out a few details, but if people just get started on the general progression, it will be like nothing ever happened.
I think the most important thing to do right now is to focus on making progress, not on making ambitious plots or any such business. We need to keep the little moments going, or everyone's going to lose interest and leave before we can even think of the bigger stuff.
