Let's wait for some clarification on this, shall we?
Damn, I should've held off on posting myself. Would've had Sachiko see Kato and tackle-hug him XD Now it would just feel awkward to post twice in succession.
In spite of their best efforts, it seemed this girl was determined not be co-operative. "Well, at least we tried." Sachiko said, getting up. She could only hope the girl wouldn't decide to do anything rash. Sachiko then heard a voice from behind her. Her first hope was that it might've been Kato that had arrived! But no, it was Rui. At least he was a familiar face compared to little miss boxcutter. "Uh, hey Rui..." It felt awkward making small talk in a situation like this. At least Kami seemed to be comfortable speaking with him in such a casual manner. She wondered why she seemed to be seeing so much of this guy in a short period. She met him yesterday, then he showed up at the park, and now here they were in bizzaro world near what looked a lot like the aforementioned park. There was a lot going on here that she just could not get her head around. As had been mentioned a few times, their only real clue as to what to do was to continue looking for those strange people. Sachiko took that to mean the others must have seen someone too. That made things even weirder. Was their some meaning behind these people, or was it yet another uncanny coincidence that they had all encountered someone or something here?

"I wouldn't mind carrying on after those people myself, but we're still missing Kato." No matter what was going on here, the last thing Sachiko wanted to do was to leave this place without finding all her friends. If Kami was here, Kato ought to be to, and in that case she sure wanted to find him.
I'm not sure if there will be a real battle for Sachiko, but if there is, I know what I would pick for the theme.
Alright, let me settle this for ya'll >.>

Once upon a time, I remember Gero randomly declaring all Genin got promoted to Chuunin (like, near the beginning of the RP, 2 years back? XD). In fact, if memory serves me right, that's the only reason Niji got the rank herself, unless she did an exam while I was away. So there was a time where Kamiria had the label Chuunin slapped on her position on the roster. Of course, when I came back recently, I realised how stupid it would be for her to have that rank in spite of never having earned it, so I didn't write it on her CS. And I don't expect her to get any ranks until she does something meaningful with herself.

Case closed.
I decided to take a look at a video of this Dancing All Night thing, cause I hadn't heard of it before now.

I was just gonna get Ryouta to smuggle Sato stuff from his family's shop. And speaking of which, no one ever actually accepted it formerly and I'd like to know if the whole family metalworks thing is okay with you guys.

"Hey Ryouta, can you get me some weapons?"

"What for?"

"To fight mysterious creatures in an otherworldly realm."

"Okay, cool."
Oh hai Vance.

I don't mind you venting on that topic, but let's just hope the newbie doesn't wander in here and get offended XD

I must say that in regards to people thumbing around without a heading, I more often than not see GMs that are content to pitch a fit about it but not do much to actually address the problem. They seem to think everyone ought to make their own little events inside a greater one. They give you a war, and then they complain when people indecisively mill about wondering what to do. Are they all supposed to invent a small battle to dick around in? When did they become responsible for getting things done in the RP? I like that most of the people here are confident enough to give people something more specific to do, because I really feel like going back in time and slapping the people I'm thinking of for just expecting everyone to get moving on their own.

Fyi, I happened to be amongst the few enterprising people that made their own fun in the example I'm thinking of. I still got pissed that the GM seemed to think it was everyone's fault but their own.

It's a family relic. Belonged to his grandfather, who fought in WWII, and has been kept in the family as a keepsake of sorts. As such, it holds a lot of value to him and his family.

These are the kind of details that should go in your backstory.

I suppose it's okay to have, provided all it will be doing is sitting around gathering dust. After all, unless you're planning to add persona details later, you won't be using the gun in the bulk of combat in this RP. Of course, I'm going to need the strictest of assurances that you won't be whipping the gun out for anything less than friendly. I have been in at least one RP that went up in smoke because some nutter decided to stage a holdout in an RP when he suddenly felt like it.
Sachiko tensed up when Kami seemed to decide to try and diffuse the situation himself. Whoever this girl was, she had to be dangerous, given she just happened to have a makeshift weapon on hand in a situation like this. She knew why Kami did, but what was this girl's excuse? Whatever it was, it was a risk to approach her so casually. But Kami managed it. He didn't lose his cool, and it seemed that, even if he didn't manage to disarm her, he did diffuse the tension. When the girl sat down, Sachiko came closer. "Wow, you really are a born officer, aren't you, Kami?" She remarked. It was pretty impressive to see in person. Before continuing, she realised the girl still seemed pretty on edge. She was stammering out something too. She was talking about the Student Council President. Sachiko was sure she had heard a rumor about a creepy girl that was seen hanging around the Student Council room all the time. Was it this person? She sure seemed creepy, especially with that boxcutter on hand.

"Hey..." Sachiko began, kneeling down to talk with the girl, though keeping a slight distance from her all the while. "We might all be strangers, but the only way you will be able to find Akemi or your brother will be by figuring out what's going on here. What do you say, you want to help us out?" She added her softest smile to appear as sincere as possible. Truth be told, she wasn't entirely comfortable with this, though it wouldn't show on her face. Having this girl following them around this place might not be all that safe, but on the other hand, it might be worse if she was left alone to stew in her paranoia. Sachiko chose to hope that she wasn't quite as nuts as she appeared to be.
