Name was waiting in the lobby area writing unenthusiasticly in his notes. What Nate had said over the phone had deeply troubled him and over worked his imagination. He knew government and public opinion was low of the supernatural with groups like the Inquisition and Nightshade Security but this deeply troubled the old doctor.
It was always Stanley's belief that as scientist we must always be humane about research and discovery that the line into savagery must never be crossed. It was for these same reasons he never drank blood or tested his cures on anyone but himself. Why should anyone else suffer because of his affliction?

He knew Nate for a long time. Grew up with him and made it through medical school with him. When Name was bitten he lost everything his family, his clinic, his life.
The only one from the old days who knew were Name was is Nate who helped sneak him equipment to start a rudimentary lab in his room. He took a drink from his coffee and watched the door. Minutes later Nate walked in with the child bundled in his arms. Name stood up and walked over to his old friend. When he say the state Autumn was in and her clutching the rabbit in her sleep it broke his heart.
"How is she?" Name asked sadly.

Jasper watched in awe and a large amount of confusion as one by one the "manly" members of the expedition hurled themselves into the ocean. "These men are more land sick than I thought." Jasper told his cat know pasted out asleep at Jaspers feet.
"For dinner I feel all would benefit from something simple, something easy to digest." Monty meowed under his feet. "No, too much salt, to plain." He stated half to himself half to his cat. Then he spied the gypsy girl talking to the mercenary.
"Was she onboard the whole time? I can't remember seeing her below deck." He whispered conspiring to Monty. He remembered the emperor's opinion on those who wander. "I have a few questions for her." He confided in his cat.

"Squads A and B, and all of their support staff, report to debriefing immediately for assignment!" Barked over the loudspeaker. Two months ago squad A had recruited replacements for several gaps in their team. Since then nothing has happened, just waiting around on base for a mission.

I have a proposal to help intertwine our characters. It's your character so it is absolutely okay if you say no.
What if Nate was an old friend of my Character Dr. Name and when he dropped Autumn (and Aiden) off at the inn he left her in his care. Name would view her as what he has lost and therefore be very loving and protective of her.

If you are on board I'll leave it up to you how much or if at all Name knows about Aiden.

Once again your choice I just think it will give our characters a reason to be around each other.

I'm confused here. What are you guys unclear on exactly, or are you waiting for the story to progress a bit? If it is the latter I suppose I can start tomorrow.

I have no idea what your gif is from but I just imagine someone watching it and their parents or girlfriend walking in, and then having to try and explain it!

Anyway I remember the Loki and I could always use a terrain friend.
