I really don't want this to die again is anyone still here?

One character many Role-players

Okay so so far we are a non-magical human Prince/Princess. I think for now we do basic world building. What kind of environment is the kingdom? I opt for a more traditional medieval setting like forest and hills with some plain land with maybe some other varied terrains scattered about. Any other specific thoughts?

Supernatural Inn (Reboot)

Name gently dried Autumn's arm with some paper towels. And retrieved some gauze to rewrap her arm. While gingerly wrapping her arm Name told Autumn with his characteristic smile and gentle voice, "There we go good as new! Don't worry about it it'll heal in no time! Now how about we finally have that breakfast?" Name asked thinking of his coffee quickly cooling on the table.

Halfway through their improvised meal Name asked Autumn, "I need to pick up a few things, stuff like groceries, a new bed, some extra clothes for you, maybe some toys? If your feeling up for it would you like to come along?" Name asked politely.

"I don't want to rush the poor thing." Name thought to himself, "But she needs to start being more comfortable with people and her surroundings. Plus I have no idea what kids these days like. Dam! Am I really getting that old?"

Alright so does everyone want to start the story not in complete control of the government like a prince or Noble or start on top of the chain?

I was thinking we take things slow with how long the turn are like a section of a conversation or a few hours of a day and adjust for long term when needed.

I'm thinking we develop it as we go along so that we don't spend forever here and so that each person can put their own touch to the story.

I'm liking these ideas especially of magic being there, but so uncommon that it isn't super useful. Maybe even a future conflict could be between whether magic is hunted or something along the lines of hoarding those with aptitude for the kingdom.

Okay it seems most of us are for the king idea so next let's decide if we want any development of the world Before we create the character or if we want to try and improvise while role-playing. Also do we want a low or high fantasy setting? If it's high with magic and different races and such we may have to do more world building before the story so things don't get to tangled off the bat.

Also I can see this being fun with either a person taking their turn as the ruler of the land as his parents have done before him or as a pauper or stranger suddenly in control of the kingdom.
