Aphrodite darted towards the dome but halts in her track as a wall of dark magic shoots in front of her and in front of Carolyn stopping her from attacking. Dark walks toward Carolyn and places a hand on her shoulder. His eyes show no remorse, no emotions at all as he turns her around and stares at her face and says. "Let him be, there is nothing we can do for that man as of now. Wait it out."

Aphrodite tries to get to the dome but once again gets stopped by Dark.

"Why are you letting this go on for Dark?! Why aren't you helping?"

Dark doesn't respond but focuses his attention on the onslaught, making him think of his past of what he done. He reacted this way, not to this extreme but he showed no remorse to the people that killed his family, and friends. He can't say he knows what this man is going through but he knows that he made his decision and will have to live with it for the rest of his life. The constant reminder, the cackle in the man's laugh will always haunt him eternally. Is revenge always the answer, does it really solve one's conflict in the past? It feels good to kill the person responsible but in long run what does one really accomplish at that point. These thoughts run through Dark's mind and to this day he still can't find the answer to the questions.

"So, this is what you wanted all along?"

Dark lands onto the ground between the cloaked figure and Carolyn. Aphrodite looking on in shock.

"Are you going to feel better, wiping this man off this earth, what's it going to accomplish, what will come back to you man? Tell me before you slice his neck open!"

Aphrodite covers her mouth before the gasp escapes. She knows she's in over her head, and immediately creates a telepathic link to Dark, a distress signal.

Dark lets out a laugh.

"Well I would be ly-----"

Dark's expression turns cold, and he begins to get angry and worried at the same time.

"Jade, if you excuse me I need to do something."

Dark drops all of the bags onto the pavement and takes flight towards the location of Aphrodite and Carolyn.

"Please let me get there in time."

Aphrodite quickly makes her way towards Carolyn, doing a zippered motion across her slips then giving her a thumbs up. The barrier didn't feel much of a problem after seeing Carolyn carelessly walk into it.

"So why are we following this guy?"

Dark smirks at Jade teasing.

"Yeah, can you believe that none of this is mine?"

"Hey Dark, could you be a dear and takes these back to the Academy please, I'll come pick them up later. Okay thanks!"

Before Dark could respond she takes off towards Carolyn's location. Swift and precise she manages to sneak up behind her and tap her on her shoulder.

"Looks like you're snooping on someone. Usually I'm the nosy person.

Dark hangs his head and looks over at Jade with a shrug.

"So what brings you down here?"

Dark dragging his feet several paces behind Aphrodite holding onto multiple number of shopping bags. Let's out a groan of frustration.

"So tell me again, why do you need all of this stuff?"

Aphrodite humming to herself, leans back and gives Dark a playful grin.

"Because I do!"

Dark shaking his head and wondering how he got himself stuck in this situation.

"You don't even have space to put all of this in your dorm at the academy."

"That's why we're going to my actual home and putting them there. I'm only going to take the necessary things with me back to school, plus it's the first snowfall of the year so I have to get the right wardrobe after all."

"You have got to be kidding.....Hey why did you stop all of sudden?"

Aphrodite looks out and notices someone in hiding.

"Carolyn, Dark it's Carolyn, what's she doing?"

Aphrodite immediately begins to create a telepathic connection with her.

"You look super suspicious right now, mind telling me what you're doing?"

Dark lets out a sigh as he is reminded with his agenda of meeting up with the Guardians.

"I know every member of the Guardians, unfortunately though I have another appointment today. Shopping, with Aphrodite."

Dark says dully, as he hates shopping let alone knowing that with Aphrodite this is going to take up the rest of his day. Although her modeling outfits is a perk. He leaves money on the table and a tip, as he rises to his feet he gives Jacob a nod and waves at Ashlynn, the bell rang as he departs from the cafe shop and the cold air welcomes him once more. Nothing too bad but he creates a small aura around him heating himself, before he takes off into the sky towards the shopping center.

Dark has left the scenario.

Dark lets out a hearty laugh as he gets under Ashlynn's skin once again.

"I couldn't resist on that one, but I see what you mean. That's some creepy stuff, amazing that I'm just now hearing this from you. I mean I'm sure they said it in the warehouse but I was a little out of it during that time. So you could still be the primary target for all of this, so whomever you become friends with can also be in danger."

Dark downs his second drink, and denies another refill of it.

"Still though, I have that feeling that it's going to happen soon, as if they have been watching our every move so far."

Dark raises an eyebrow. "That is odd, seeing how you have no traits of being a caring person to another human being."

Dark removes his hand from his face after listening to guy's information and proceeds with his thesis.

"Let's think about that night, their tactics were of a common thug, surprise attack their victim then overpower them with numbers at first right? Best time to pull that off is late at night, in areas where it's big enough to fit them all in, but deserted most of the time, near the warehouse for example. Assuming if they go with this same course of action we need to look around more secluded areas but big enough to keep them in check. I feel like they're hiding somewhere in downtown Ceteris. One of them is a white mage as well, for the fact that they were able to teleport in a group, no secondary white mages have that skill and even if they did I highly doubt they could travel that far. The one who attacked you and I was a psionic user, I felt more than just his fist when he attacked and lifting the warehouse and destroying it was more than enough to prove that theory."

"I have a hunch they will be coming out of hiding soon and I feel that they'll go after a new victim than one of us again. Someone that we know in our small group of friends. It narrows it down to Ivy, Aphrodite, Kyo, and possibly Carolyn. Carolyn should be the last person to expect cause I hardly see her leave the Academy, Kyo and Aphrodite are always wandering off somewhere, and Ivy, well if she is the next victim she could handle her own for a bit, but will get overpowereed in a matter of minutes."
