I noticed that a bunch of our characters are skilled in taijutsu, so I changed Reiji a bit. Instead of his being skilled in taijutsu I made him skilled in kenjutsu. Just thought I would let you know so when he takes out his sword in a battle you guys won't be surprised.

Personality: Hagashi, Reiji is a quiet but intelligent teenager. He's not anti-social or anything like that, he just doesn't feel the need to speak just to hear himself talk. Reiji doesn't flaunt his intellect and let's people believe he isn't very smart. He does this because all people see him as is the son of his parents. Rei also doesn't rub the fact that he is royalty into people's faces. He isn't conceited or self absorbed. Reiji is actually quite kind and believes that compassion is the way to friendship. Although obtaining friends can be a challenge for him, because most people confuse silence for dislike. Rei is quite determined when it comes to finding his path as a ninja. He won't let anyone stray from his path or deter him from his training. Reiji has a little mysterious vibe coming from him, like he knows more than you think he does. That's probably just because he is so smart but doesn't show it. His academy scores set him right in the middle, although he probably could have been the smartest in the class if he wanted to. The only people who know of his true intelligence are his parents.

History: Hagashi, Reiji was raised under the highest nobles of the Hagashi clan. His father Daisuke, and his mother, Ayame, treated him with kindness and love. Knowing their son would be the heir of the clan, they didn’t pamper him and instead prepared him. At age eight his father began to train him to be a shinobi. The early training gave him an edge during his academy days. Paired with his high intelligence, he excelled easily. Well, he could have excelled easily, because he never let anyone see how smart he truly was. Reiji made himself seem like an average student, right in the middle of being intelligent and dumb. The young prince was very attached to his father, who taught him everything he needed to know. Reiji never lived selfishly or acted like a brat. Reiji learned about his kekkei genkei from his father. All the techniques he knows are weaker versions of his father’s. The training was strenuous but the results were amazing. Although his career as a ninja is off to a good start, he was not good at one thing. Making friends always seemed to be a problem for him. Most people misunderstood him and thought that he was anti-social, but really he’s not. He just chooses to not talk every five seconds, but if he does talk then it’s probably straight to the point. Reiji hopes that one day he will take his father place and become the leader of his clan, and a strong ninja. He will let nothing and no one stop him.

Clan: Hagashi Clan: The Hagashi is a well respected and feared clan. They are well known for their Kekkei Genkei, Beast Release. They train their clan members the second they are able to, and the training is hard. They focus on their Kekkei Genkei in training, and let the Academy do regular training. Most Higashi's have large chakara pools, and adequate chakara control. Reiji's parents are the high nobles of the clan, he is a prince of sorts.

Dreams and aspirations: Reiji wants to become a strong ninja and the leader of his clan. It his heir but f anyone challenges his right to rule he has to fight them and whoever wins gets the throne.

Kekkei Genkei: Beast Release: The Hagashi clan has a very unique Kekkei Genkei. Beast Release is a very diverse ability that has many techniques.

Description: Beast Release allows the user to utilize two types of Jutsu. The first kind allows the user to gain certain aspects of animals in order to enhance themselves physically (called Beast Imitation). The second and harder type to control and master allows the user to create animals out of chakara. If the user also has a chakara nature, the user can integrate the nature into the beast (Called Chakara Beast). When using Beast Imitation Jutsu's, the user uses the Serpent Hand Seal. When using Chakara Beast Jutsu's the user uses the Dog Hand Seal.

Description: Reiji activates the Jutsu and his speed and agility becomes enhanced. The more chakara he puts into it the faster he gets. Reiji uses this technique to buff his taijutsu, and it works splendidly.

Weakness: Because of how simple this technique is, there isn't really weakness. At the moment he can use the technique for a full minute, then he must wait until he has enough chakara to perform it again.

Description: This is Reiji's trump card, his father taught him the weaker version of it. Reiji's skin turns into red scales and his pupils then into slits and his irises turn green. This enhances his strength and endurance.

Weakness: Obviously the most prominent weakness is the large amount of chakara this takes to perform. Even with his large chakara pool Reiji can only use this technique once during a fight. The second limit is that he can only use the technique for 45 seconds. The final weakness is the chinks in his scales. While in this form, Reiji has a few chinks in his armor, and if something stabs through a chink, the whole Jutsu is cancelled. The chinks move every time he takes on this form.

Name: Chakara Beast Style: Eagle Strike

Kind Of Jutsu: ninjutsu

Description: Reiji performs the hand seal and thrusts his hands towards his opponent. An eagle made of chakara shoots out and hurdles towards his opponent. He can control it because it is made of chakara. He can use it in one big hit, or he can split it into tinier birds and pepper his opponent with blows.

Weakness: This technique is very hard to control, and it's major flaw is that it can be dodged.

Name: Windy Blade

Kind Of Jutsu: kenjutsu/ninjutsu

Range: Short

Nature: Wind

Handseals: Tiger

Description: Reiji channels wind chakra into his sword, Itami. The blade becomes encased in wind chakra and its sharpness increases tenfold. Because it is encased in wind chakra it can actually hit its target without touching it if the object is close enough. This technique takes little chakra to use, so Reiji uses it often.

Weakness: The technique can't hit anything past short range, even with the added range of the wind chakra.

Description: it is the sword in Reiji's picture. He extremely skilled with it and sees it as an extension of his body. The sword is able to retain his chakra without breaking. It was originally his father's but it was passed down to Reiji.

Reiji Hagashi -- The Training Grounds

Reiji was glad that Hiroto at least acknowledged his presence as his teammate also lifted his chin in greeting. Then Hiroto turned from him and continued his training. This irked Reiji only slightly. Just because he did not start the conversation did not mean that he did not want to talk. It's just that he did not know what to talk about. The Genin smirked, so be it. He knew that Hiroto was a clown, and had quite the temper. Reiji prayed that the guy could be mature when the time called for it, or he has going to go insane. He did have some kind of respect for him, Hiroto had the determination to be one a ninja even when his clan wasn't even inclined to become ninjas. Reiji had just decided to introduce himself but he smelled a new presence, and turned to see his new sensei, Kyuko.

Well shit, did she have to be so beautiul? Why would they match up her with two teenage guys? Reiji kept his eyes on her face, using every ounce of willpower he had. Kyoko introduced her self and revealed her Sharingan. He internally shuttered a little but shook it off. Reiji was impressed by how much of a "no bullshit" kind of person she was. Boy was she in for a surprise, having to teach Hiroto. Then, as if right on cue, Hiroto opened his big mouth. "So basically, your specialty is mind-fucking people, right?" Hiroto said, Reiji actually face palmed. "For fuck's sake," he muttered. Reiji scoffed at Hiroto when he introduced himself, why did he have to be partnered with him? The Genin sighed, "I'm Reiji of the Higashi clan." After that he fell silent, that was all he had to say.

Suddenly a fight broke out between the douche, Kanajiro, and another guy from the academy. His name was... What was it... Hayashi! Reiji paused the watch the fight. While watching he observed Kanajiro, hoping to find some sort of weakness. The only thing he could come up with was two ideas to defeat him if he ever fought him. Hayashi was also a pretty good fighter also. Reiji hoped to test his skills against them one day. Hiroto wasn't worth his time, he wanted to go against his rival. That stuck up Kanajiro, the leader of his clan. Reiji would have to wait until he was strong enough for him to become leader. He would have to surpass his father. Reiji turned back to his sensei and Hiroto, hopefully she could at least make him stronger.

Reiji Hagashi -- After The Funeral

With the somber mood still tangible, the funeral came to a close. A gush of wind ruffled Reiji's hair as he dropped back down to the ground quietly. The Genin sighed and thrust his hands into his pockets, he needed to get out of this gloomy mood! He knew one thing that would lighten his mood, or at least distract him from the deaths of that day. Today his father came back from a mission, he had been away for a week. Of course Reiji loved his mother but he had a really strong bond with his father. The Genin hoped that the man would still have energy to train with him, he wanted to be sharp and ready to go the following day.

Later That Day

At the Higashi Training Grounds, two figures clashed, the sound of kunai clanging rang out into the silence of the forest around them. The two figures broke apart. Several beads of sweat slid down Reiji's face and mixed with the cut on his check to create a red streak down his face. He was too focused on dodging his father's ferocious offensive barrage to acknowledge the pain. Daisuke Higashi managed to catch him once in his abdomen and once in the liver. Reiji felt the breath leave his body with a "umph" and he jumped back. The Genin took a few seconds to recover, and to analyze the situation. They were practicing taijutsu that afternoon, and it was obvious that his father had the advantage. Reiji took the few seconds he had to devise a plan, and when his father come for him, he smirked. Reiji dropped low and swept his fathers legs out from under him and in one fluid motion, brought his other foot up for a round house kick. The teenager's foot smashed into the larger man's chest. Daisuke flew through the air at an impressive arc. He managed to flip and land on his feet. The leader of the Higashi clan breathed heavily. "You have grown stronger my son, one day you will be strong enough to lead this clan with honor. That is enough training for today, and keep this in mind. You have made me proud." Reiji grinned and gave him a thumbs up, "I will never give up and become stronger each day! That is my ninja way."

The Next Day- Morning

Reiji got up earlier than he usually did, today was a special day. His mother was already waiting for him with a plate stacked with food. For those who didn't know him, Reiji had quite an appetite. Although maybe it was because of his heightened sense of smell, he could smell his mother's cooking from a mile away. "Have a great day sweetie" Ayame called out to her son as he flew out the door. Reiji wanted to get to the training grounds early before his sensei and teammate got there, showing up early always left a good impression. Sadly, when he got there, he noticed that his teammate was already there. Well, Reiji assumed that he was his teammate, his sensei had instructed them to meet her there. Reiji finally recognized the boy as Hiroto Narumi. This was the perfect opportunity to see what his teammate could do. All he knew was that Hiroto specialized in taijutsu, which was quite popular in Iwagakure's new Genin. Reiji made sure his presence wasn't known and observed Hiroto. Once he felt like had enough information, he made himself known. The Genin made sure his footsteps could be heard as he approached. Reiji stopped in front of Hiroto, and did not say a single word. All he did was lift his chin in greeting. Reiji had heard that Hiroto could be quite obnoxious, but prayed that they were only rumors. Also, where was their sensei? Kyoko Akiyama was the Genjutsu Expert of Iwa. Her legacy was a brutal but admirable one. He heard that she ripped out an Uchiha's eye after a battle and had it implanted to her's. Reiji meant this in the manliest way possible, but her abilities scared the panties off of him. He never liked the Uchihas or genjutsu, they gave him the shivers. Too bad though, he was going to have to get used to it.
