Again with death. Haven't you people had enough death? Killing and murder and suicidal tendencies. When had death become the new sex? The threat oozing off of everyone's lips? The implication behind every innuendo? Or were they all just weaklings and fools who could only feel strong with the threat of death to hide behind.

Well it didn't scare Mordred. If anything, it might be the only way he'd experience freedom again. He was at once offended by the girl, indeed by all of their collective morbidity, but at the same time he pitied her reliance upon such tactics. His heart ached in it's sympathy, and still he felt insulted to the core. Maybe that was what pushed him to speak in a vague sort of poetry. A song from his madness to hers -well, a couplet at least:

"Give me liberty or give me the kiss of death,
I can't fear the Reaper if I've got nothing left!"
He regarded the girl before asking. "Well, judges have been accusing innocents even before the days of the holy inquisition. So, what's the truth?"
Mordred walked over to the girls who were exchanging their "I didn't do its" and joined in with his own inverse confession.

"Well, I never worshiped satan, did drugs or held a ritual sacrifice, but here I am the same as you. Outcast and slandered."
Malfeas watched the chaos as the tavern roof exploded with fire and a whole group ran out, lead by a goat in a coat and goggles. He must have been the G.O.A.T. pilot. Indeed the G.O.A.T. soon came by picking up a few more people.

The monk ran up to it and hollered to the pilot. "HEY, DO YOU HAVE ANYMORE ROOM IN THERE?" Curiousity had gotten to him, but he justified it with a sense of responsibility. Since they seemed like a bit of a motley crew from all backgrounds, it would probably be helpful to have another goat on board.
Posted.

And I just realized that Baa kind of reminds me of Gir.
Malfeas stood on the highest branch of a large tree, seeming to defy gravity for his stature and the smallness of the branch. But it was no work of telekinesis which brought him up here. No, it was merely a goat's natural agility and graceful sense of physical balance. And here he stood in meditation, as he had for the last two hours, mind clear and awaiting passer by to pounce upon, horns first.

When a G.O.A.T. went flying overhead instead, he decided it might be a good idea to follow it's course. So he set off in it's general direction and followed the road to find it parked. Pressing on further, he entered the town of Dry Hook, and seeing that posters were being put up, he decided to investigate. Apparently the Goblin King was missing.

"Hmph. I wonder if he simply forgot he was King..." Malfeas said aloud to no one in particular. Foolish folk, the goblins. And it was often difficult to have any sympathy for fools.
Name: Brother Malfeas Baphomet

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Race: Ancient Goat

Main Weapon: Telekinetic Force (He's trained in the use of telekinesis in it's combat forms (known as Krevi Ulfov, or Mind Fighting). These forms and techniques allow an Ancient Goat to master various offensive and defense techniques. These forms were developed by Ancient Goat monks and perfected in olden times within the Temples to Azazel.

Personality: Brother Malfeas is an Azazelian Monk and adhere's to the teachings of the ancient Goat-Demon and his disciples. This is a double edged sword however, since Azazel is benevolent toward the Ancient Goats but he is often a trickster (and sometimes downright cruel) toward others.

The Scapegoat, as Azazel has been called, is a patron of intelligence, balance, and nature with aspects warrior, hunter, scholar and trickster archetypes. There is much written about the belief that every being has a wild spirit and a harmonious spirit wthin themselves and that each must be appeased and brought into balance with each other in order to truly empower the self.

Azazel's teachings encourage strategy, discipline, willpower, wisdom, art, courage, and honesty. Stupity, lying, limiting one's perspective, giving in to fear, favoring extremes rather than balance, and bringing harm to the natural world are considered avenues toward Azazel's wrath.

Though some doctrinal disputes do exist between various temples, the core theology, dogma and ritual essentially remain the same. Daily meditation and prayer. Burnt offerings upon his altars and incense within his temples. Blood sacrifices were once popular, but have not been practiced in centuries.

Brother Malfeas is a both a scholar and a diplomat who prefers to study and catalogue these variations rather than get caught up in the arguments. The only time he becomes partial is when someone appears to be abusing the Word of Azazel for personal gain. And when that happens, he becomes very partial indeed.

However when not engaged in priestly pursuits, Malfeas tends to be an adventurous sort. He follows his wild spirit where it will lead him and seeks out new experiences when they don't seem particularly likely to result in injury or worse. In all of this he is rather happy go lucky and laid back. As much as he tries to master his wild spirit, though, it just never quite works out. Especially when the beer is flowing.
Mordred exits the van at once, hungry for the fresh air. Yet, as much as it invigorates him, the excitement is shortlived for he knows that the liberty he now experiences is temporary at best. He scan's his surroundings, briefly considering another rash act before falling into the common parlance of the friends he'd had yesterday. "This is gonna suck!"
