Scratch the part where I said it was getting dark, I'm gonna edit that out.
So I have a question for all of you. What kind of things do you want to see in this roleplay? I'd like to make this roleplay fun and exciting for everyone involved, so any suggestions and ideas would be great!
With a start, Billy realized that he was crying. Disgust rippled through him and snapped him out of his daze. He was being a ninny, he couldn't just lie around and feel sorry for himself, he had to take initiative and do something about it! Stubbornly, Billy forced his aching body off the ground and to his knees, groaning in pain. Raising his right hand up to his face, he gingerly felt along it. His left eye was swollen shut and the right was blackened, and couple nasty bruises covered his cheeks. Feeling along the ridge of his nose, Billy realized that it was broken. His nose had been broken a few times before, so no biggie. Bracing himself, Billy pushed himself to his feet. Nothing seemed to be broken, but his ribs felt bruised. This wasn't going to be fun.

Billy sat huddled in a doorway, chewing greedily on the small slice of raw pork fat that he'd managed to scavenge out of a pile of filth. He was sure to get sick the next day, but it would assuage the pain of hunger for a little while. He didn't have the energy to snatch another meal at the moment, so this had to do.. The doorway provided partial protection from the rain, and Billy pulled up his knees to his chest and laid back. Was this his life now? Without a home and scavenging to survive?
Carden's eyes widened as the group began to head towards the church. What was going on, was someone hurt? Could their be some kind of...dark creature there? He shivered at the thought, scared. Nevertheless he followed along the group, these people really might help him and he couldn't afford to leave them behind. Carden slipped his knife out of his belt, but he doubted he'd be much use to any of them if something happened.

Favorite way to cook your toast?)

@User I know this is a free roleplay and all, but would you mind explaining more about your character? Why he's called "Doc", why he's "insane", why his shirt is bloodstained and etc. After than if everything checks out, you'll be accepted :)

@Savo, feel free to encounter characters as you see fit. Once all the characters have banded together we can start the process of them getting to know each other and all that. I'll try and keep everyone having fun with different events and storylines and stuff. :3
Ahhh, I'm sorry I keep getting caught up in things. I'll post tomorrow when I wake up
Name: Cassius Sherry

Age: 16

Weapon: His violin, can transform the sound notes into piercing needles that are propelled towards enemies.

Godly Parent: Apollo

Magical Power Able to convert sounds into actual physical forms. Depending on the nature of the sound note, he can alter them into a variety of different forms, from physical forms such as arrows, to other things such as light.

Appearance:

Personality: Cassius is emotionally shallow and isn't often able to feel emotion, and often when he does it's not what he believes he should be feeling, confusing him greatly. Lack of empathy and has trouble understanding why and how other people behave. He often adapts the personality that he believes would fit the situation or would make please others around him. His true, empty nature is covered by layers of false personalities which don't often open up. Being alone his entire life, he finds it hard to shoo away his feelings of deep loneliness. Cassius often does not know how to respond to social situations due to his almost absolute lack of interaction during his childhood. He longs to find his place in the world.

Bio: Cassius's mother didn't want him, he was an accident. Learning of his demi-god nature before he was born, she was horrified of her soon-to-be child's form. But rather than treating him bad, abusing him, or anything like that, she ignored him. Only talking to him during absolutely necessary situations. She worked most of the day, and when she got home nothing was said to the boy. Cassius was home-schooled due to his mother's fear of the something happening surrounding Cassius's powers. His violin was his only escape from this life, and he often played it for hours on end. Due to this treatment, Cassius's powers never showed or developed until later in his life, only manifesting when he was 16. Now he's been sent to Camp Half-Blood to train and prepare for the future.

Sorry for the lackluster app, it's 1 a.m. and for some reason I need to apply right now even though I'm half asleep. xD
So it does! Thank you all for joining, and I hope we're able to make an awesome roleplay out of this! :3
Wayland took up the same jog as earlier on his way to the gym, albeit this time a bit less enthusiastic. Sure, they'd still be piloting soon enough, "soon" wasn't the same as "now". As he exited the hangar, he looked back for one last, longing glance at his mechanical frame. Of course, he'd been to the gym before, so he knew the way well enough, and he realized that he'd need to go much faster if he wanted to get there in time. Wayland cursed his short legs and drove himself into a sprint, determined to get there in time. He'd been late before, and it just meant that he'd get to pilot his mechanical frame for an even lower amount of time, and that would not do. Mechanical Frame pilots were supposed to the best of the best, being late to training sure wouldn't place him in that category.

What he lacked for in height and speed, Wayland made up for with endurance. Keeping up the run, he approached the doors to the gym. He silently hoped that the lecture would be short and to the point, though a lot of times they weren't. Curiosity filled him as he wandered what they would be doing today. The rumor around the Academy was that combat training was occurring today, which sure would be something special. Well, soon you'll find out, Wayland silently told himself. As he burst open the doors of the gym, still running, he realized that he was late. Red-faced and huffing rapidly from the run, he pulled himself up and into the line of pilots already present. Pulling himself into a clumsy salute, Wayland smiled sheepishly, staring forward at the instructor.
I've put in the first ic post, feel free to write intros and everything for your characters now! :3
