It's that boss dialogue that intrigues me most...What makes secret bosses so special, are they sentient? Being able to talk with them and them being likened to players make me think that...

Easy, man. Stumbling upon some serious plot stuff. Why don't we stop digging, yeah? And no questions about the Soul Crystals... Heh. I'm playing, yeah, Secret Bosses were once players.

No problem, Shiinen. ^_~
Shiinen, I like the attack, sounds badass, just have one question or suggestion rather, can't counter special abilities with this move and here's why: we will be upgrading skills so why not leave it as a counter to melee and then upgrade to include melee skills? It's just so you have room for growth.

Edit: Thanks for the summary, Wanderer. I appreciate that, my dude.
Wanderer - Not sure if you've read some of my posts but you will notice I've been doing just that, giving enemies special skills. As a general rule, feel free to do the same. I. Want everyone to help populate with as much as possible.

Benefits of leveling up include the following:

- Ability to take on stronger enemies
- Use of better equipment
- Unlock skills
- Upgrade skills
- Raise SP
- Unlock level specific quests and dialogue for secret bosses
Shiinen-chan, give it two more levels, it's still a tad too soon. I had decided level 5 would be a good threshold to get new skills.
Okay, anything to help you guys. So no issues with my seemingly-arbitrary-but-not-really-because-I-know-what-I'm-doing system?
Yup, at some point you encounter 3 Forest Trolls between levels 2-3. You guys get to pick the configuration, could be three trolls all level three or all level two, the range I provide is a guideline. Please make note of it in the footer as this will help me.

I'll post a list of the things I look at when deciding leveling for everyone to see.
Hah. Everyone is doing great, I'm just trying to keep you all from freaking out which seems I've ironically caused. Everything will even out, I promise. Does anyone have an issue with the first Level-Up post?
Not at all, like I said, quality over quantity. Don't feel worried if you didn't level up as fast as somone else, I'm taking different things into consideration, it will all even out. Also, the Boss is at 45% not 50%. Hah. Edit that bit man otherwise we won't ever finish this guy off.

Also on a general note, please stick to what I have in the footer otherwise it gets a little confusing, should be enemy and level. If anyone wants a detailed breakdown of how I'm assigning levels and loot, I'll be happy to provide that for you in a guideline. Or maybe I should post it in the OP? Don't hesitate to PM me if you want as well.

Edith: Kitten, we're collectively fighting just one boss and as of your last post he should be at 45% health, sorry, should've clarified that.
Level-Up!

Ares -> Level 3; 8 Gold; x2 Wolf Pelt; Wolf Fang

Prince -> Level 3; 9 Gold; Wolf Pelt; x2 Wolf Fang

Vick -> Level 2; 5 Gold; Wolf Pelt; Wolf Fang

Sir Valentine -> Level 2; 9 Gold; x2 Wolf Pelt; Wolf Fang

Lilith -> Level 2; 8 Gold; Wolf Pelt; x2 Wolf fang

The Imagineer -> Level 3; 75 Gold [Our Way or the Highway Complete]

The Wanderer -> Level 3; 75 Gold [Our Way or the Highway Complete]

Xenoko Feng -> Level 2; 75 Gold [Our Way or the Highway Complete]

Moon234 -> Level 2; 75 Gold [Our Way or the Highway Complete]
That's fine, I'll take into consideration Quest completion as well among other things. Technically, you can still level up without every killing an enemy.

Edit: If anyone at any point thinks I'm being unreasonable, let me know! I really want to be fair to everyone.
