The Mythical School of Fey

Rorschach began staring at the new little girl, talking to naives. He wondered why such a defenceless and young person would come to a school like this. He started to wonder whether he was scaring her, he was looking at her while holding a knife. He decided to instead look at the other new person. He could see he had a tail, which intrigued Rorschach slightly, thought since coming here he had seen much weirder things.

Rorschach smiled under his mask. He liked watching everything unfold somehow… it was amusing. He chuckled quietly to himself. He continued throwing the knife up in the air and catching, taking note of the two new arrivals. He noted Kuro's tail, he guessed what it was.

Rorschach watched with interest as Kuro attacked the dummy. "Hmm…" he muttered to himself before walking over to the weapons. He gazed at them for a moment, wondering what to do. At last he reached out and grabbed a bowie knife, his favourite. He strolled over back to the same mat and sat down again. He calmly span the knife in the air and caught it again, doing this repeatedly.

Rorschach walked into the class. He could see that for some reason Kuro was on the floor. He guessed that he'd probably been knocked out by someone. He went over to a mat and knelt down, wondering what to do, watching the others. He sat still and silent, seemingly meditating but really just staring into nothingness.

Characteristics: Rorschach is a very mysterious man and does not speak often. He prefers the name 'Rorschach' to his real name 'Walter'. He is usually a very calm person, even in the face of danger. His mask scares people, simply by them looking at it. Walter is quite unstable and crazy but hides this particularly well.

Backstory: Walter Joseph Kovacs was born on March 21, the son of Sylvia Kovacs, a prostitute, and an unknown father only known to Walter as "Charlie". His mother was frequently abusive towards him. At the age of 11, Walter became involved in a violent fight with two older bullies, and subsequently his living conditions were finally looked into. He was removed from his mother's care and put in a children's home, where he rapidly seemed to improve, excelling at art as well as gymnastics and amateur boxing. After leaving the home when he was 16, Walter took a job as a garment worker in a dress shop, which he found "bearable but unpleasant" partly because he had to handle women's clothing. It was here that he acquired a certain dress fabric that he would later fashion into the mask he wears. It is now the second year at school. Rorschach has already received a few injuries but the person he hated more than anything was dead. He would not have survived without someone he adores though, Maia. Rorschach thinks he loves her, though he is too shy to tell her.

-Beginning of the new year-
Rorschach walked out of his dorm… well, now it was his and Maia's. He would secretly over the moon by this but tried to hide it best he could. He knew this would be the day in which some new students would be arriving. He decided he would be nice to them, he didn't want to re-create what happened to him. He walked down the stairs and sat at the bottom of them, staring at the front entrance.
