Been here on the guild since April '08, seen a lot of change but still love it. I've been on and off, I've GM'd fantastic projects and train-wrecks, it all comes with the territory. I once tried to make a YouTube ad for the guild because I'm slightly insane. In a weird place with the Guild right now, seems like so many names I knew are gone, but more than happy and ready to meet new people. Been writing casually for over a decade, a lot of that practice has been here. I have some small short sci-fi stories printed in anthologies but those are so heavily edited they don't even feel like mine any more.
When not on the Guild I'm most likely working, playing FFXIV or the Souls series or (insert recent must play video game).
Anyone with a passing interest in sci fi needs to read Saga by Brian K Vaughan.

I know those feels though, as regarding trying to get into the flow of the guild and instead being caught up with real life issues. Happened to me a couple times it was has been nearly 5 years here. Don't let it out you off. I'm sure the people you were engaged with will understand :)

There's no problem with saying 'hey look at this other thing over here' but there is an issue with it being the only thing you do here.
Now I know the guild just restarted so you could have been here years for all I know, I don't recognize the username but just refrain from blatant advertising. If you get to know people here and ask them to join your site of course we promote that. Just don't put yourself out as an advertiser. You'll get a bad name with other members.

Welcome back though! We're still in the reshaping process and Mahz is building things from scratch so as to make the site even better than before without the restrictions of VBulletin.

Well welcome back! As you may have noticed things changed. Hank wrote a helpful explanation, if you are to know everything but long story short; old site got wiped and Mahz is building this one from the ground up.
