Been here on the guild since April '08, seen a lot of change but still love it. I've been on and off, I've GM'd fantastic projects and train-wrecks, it all comes with the territory. I once tried to make a YouTube ad for the guild because I'm slightly insane. In a weird place with the Guild right now, seems like so many names I knew are gone, but more than happy and ready to meet new people. Been writing casually for over a decade, a lot of that practice has been here. I have some small short sci-fi stories printed in anthologies but those are so heavily edited they don't even feel like mine any more.
When not on the Guild I'm most likely working, playing FFXIV or the Souls series or (insert recent must play video game).
Anyone with a passing interest in sci fi needs to read Saga by Brian K Vaughan.

The Transorganic Alliance Party
The Transorganic Alliance Party, commonly just referred to as the Party, or the All Party began life as a political movement in the Arcturus Imperium several decades before its collapse. The movement was started among middle-class traders and among former veterans and current soldiers. These people shared one thing in common, what they as 'forced' cybernetic augmentation at the hands of the Imperium. Whether physically forced as part of their service or economically forced by circumstance, the founding members of the All Party fought for the rights of the early transhumans. It was however, a difficult fight to have in the oppressive Arcturus state. The Imperium began cracking down hard on the Party and overtime began punishing regular citizens for even a murmur of collusion with the organization. This dogmatic crack down only fanned the rebellious flames amongst the oppressed transhumans, leading to greater angst.
Necessity called for greater measures and over the decades the Party became associated with more radical movements, eventually becoming synonymous with transhuman terrorism. Although terrorism is an act, not a cause, many looked past the growing militant ambitions of the All Party and flocked to its banner across the Imperium. As more and more people felt the biting need to transcend their organic shackles, the influence and threat posed by the All Party grew significantly.

Ssshhhhh. That's suppose to be a secret, So basically the Gods would be trying to help, they would be the ones responsible for kickstarting our little adventure, I mean, if there's enough interest I'm up for people playing as the gods whilst also having a mortal character, but they will be limited in the extent of what they can actually do.
Info on the world; i have a map, with geographical areas defined but I want people to be free to create nations, yes nations, on the map if they wish. This can be as much worldbuilding as it is a Character RP, if people want both. If people just want a story driven experience without the need to create background I have plenty ideas myself, but I often find people enjoy adding to the world too. It is not going to be a nation roleplay persay but adding factions, nations or organisations is totally ok. As are new races, I'm up for anything as long as you just run it by me :)
And to answer your actual question Zran, any kind you want. If you want a dwarven gigolo go for it. If you want to create a new race to play as, go for it. Wizened wizard, pregnant mother, fisherman, royal knight. Whatever you see fit.

No problem. I intend keeping up to date on where we're at anyway.
