Been here on the guild since April '08, seen a lot of change but still love it. I've been on and off, I've GM'd fantastic projects and train-wrecks, it all comes with the territory. I once tried to make a YouTube ad for the guild because I'm slightly insane. In a weird place with the Guild right now, seems like so many names I knew are gone, but more than happy and ready to meet new people. Been writing casually for over a decade, a lot of that practice has been here. I have some small short sci-fi stories printed in anthologies but those are so heavily edited they don't even feel like mine any more.
When not on the Guild I'm most likely working, playing FFXIV or the Souls series or (insert recent must play video game).
Anyone with a passing interest in sci fi needs to read Saga by Brian K Vaughan.

It's been flying for Advanced really. Veridis I'd say go for it just not every second word out of a characters mouth lol. That said the offical rule for the forum is supposed to be PG13. Most of us follow the Fonz rule especially since the forum went down and we didn't have mods. (Think Dark mentioned that in a different context.)
I'm personally completely fine with swearing. I have labelled the RP as mature, and as such anyone viewing it is doing so at their own discretion. Mature doesn't mean vulgar though, it means handling themes such as swearing, sex, violence and emotion in an adult manner.
So long as the swearing fits the context it's ok with me.
I'm Irish, swearing isn't even a thing here it's just a part of normal speech, but I understand other countries have different sensibilities.

I use Xbox because I have a small group of friends on there and we hardly game on PC. I probably would use DEVPRO if my friends were capable of it. Including Skype and everything.
Well dev pro uses very little resources has chat and is reasonably well automated.

It can never be a goblin only power as anyone can be a cannibal. But I agree that there is a slight encroachment on Kiddo's concept.

All the characters have been called by one of the gods in some manner. Though the beckonings were sporadic and brief as the gods don't have much sway in Enduwin anymore.
They're all converging on the point of origin, having been directed to the plains and being called to the exact point by a magical shout/call by Shankee.

Edited Bawzel's sheet so as it now says, "The orcs of Vish’Kar have yet to join the many lesser warbands that now follow the Famine."
Also just to clarify, Dúv despises the concept of life in general. I got the impression from the post that he was just using the orcs for mindless killing and if they died too it was a bonus; sick
And marching to Ifreann is physically impossible. It's another plane of existence. Think oblivion. You'd need an opened, sustained portal i.e. a god.

Like I said I had assumed we had met. The character sheet said that the orcs were already operating under Bawzel's hand. Still having a first encounter like this could be awesome.
