The day had been like any other, Scarlet and I had woke early that morning before either of their parents. They had decided to sneak out of camp and go for a swim. We had never been allowed to swim without supervision before and they hadn't been since the incident.The lake was cool and shallow with a small island in the middle of it. After about fifteen or so we... decided to check the island out alone. The island was rather small no more than a few miles in diameter. We explored most of it but there was a cave... I just had to go in. If I wasn't so stupid we would never have gone in but... AUGH!! The cave wasn't empty. I would have died if Scarlet hadn't had run for help..." Although he hadn't known Harry long Daniel knew he could trust him with this embarrassing secret of last summer's excursion.

@jorthon Daniel glanced over at his sister who stil haden't begun looking for a partner. Neither of them were trained in combat and he didn't want Scarlet getting paired up with anybody too dangerous. Scarlet knew Daniel was looking at her, but didn't react to his gaze/ "Sure" Daniel replied a little worriedly. Scarlet just continued to sit against the wall watching the fight going on in the center of the room.

@jorthon "I'll be fine, she'll just ignore me for three days and then we'll be back to normal. I'll just have to make sure she's fine up until then. And maybe the class might cheer me up a little" Daniel said ending a little more happily than the entire rest of the conversation with Harry. Daniel walked through the entrance to the class room and sat down next to Scarlet who just turned to listen in on the conversation to the person sitting next to her.

Daniel didn't know why he was telling a complete stranger stuff he can't even tell his sister but he didn't care. "As soon as dad found out about Scarlet's power he's had me running around cleaning up after her. If it wasn't a fox and a cat it was a hawk and a mouse or an eel and a tadpole." Daniel rubbed the back of his head. "I'm sure I can steel feel the electricity that thing had stored away. Well the point isn't that I need to clean up, but somebody always gets hurt by it, if it's not me it's a farmer or a priest and I... Sooner it later it's gonna be her. But all she does is turn her back on me. It happens every time, we're inseparable until she makes something else fall in love."
