Ok, I'm done rambling about the Eleventh and move forward. I'm going to walk in, kick an unseated member's ass and call myself "in the squad" my permanent acceptance can come from a "test"

So...now to use my shikai on an unseated, nameless NPC of 11th squad.

Look, I don't want to make anyone mad here, in fact I think y'all are nice. It's just, Squad 11 means a lot to me y'know? I'm not looking to be head captain, Central 46, or anything else. I just want to captain Squad 11. Squad 7 is Kenny's squad and if he makes captain, great. But Squad 11 means more to me than just a pack of thugs out for blood. In many ways they are the purest squad of the Gotei 13. Swordsmanship and strength are what matters there, not kidō skills or how fast your Shunpō is. In many ways, they are the embodiment of kenjutsu, the "way of the sword." They are brothers in arms, bound by swords. Sure, we may be bloodthirsty and violent, but we protect what we believe in with an unmatched fierceness. There are those of us willing to go to any length for what we want. I am one of them and my soul resides in Squad 11.

You laugh, fine. But I will not hesitate to do what is necessary to reach Captaincy of squad 11. You misunderstand that it is not something I'm willing to step down for. Sure, Shiro might become captain, and sure he might be closest to that coveted Haori. But I have something he doesn't; I have time on my hands; room to grow in power. I have the privilege to be under his command and be taught everything he knows. There will come a day when he has no more to teach and when that day comes I will butcher him.
