I'd rather ave a DC Comics avatar, like Ultraman, or Deathstroke.
Player Name:DeathstrokeSW

Character: Ultraman (Kru-Il)

Power and Abilities: All those of the Normal Superman

Affiliation (Justice League, HAMMER, X-Men, etc): None, Pissibly rime Syndiate.

Alignment (Good/Evil/Walking the Line):Evil.

Character Notes (Anything you would like to expand on [Established Rogues, NPCs, etc]):Inspired mostly by N52 Earth THree Ultraman, however, I did wanna put my own spin on him.

Background and Story So Far: Ultraman's story does not begin on Earth. Nor does it even begin with his birth. His story begins with his Father. Just as Zod staged a coup d'état, and sent his son to Eartth, Jor-Il, Renowned Kryptonian scientist defended Krypton. Jor-Il fought against Zod, and secured Kru-Il's place on Earth.

Fearing for his child's life, Jor-Il made recordings for the child to listen to as he drifted through space, swiftly making his way towards earth. The messages of power, strength, and self preservation and superiority of the self above all else were hammered into the child. As he crashlanded into a Minnesotan snowfield, he was discovered by John and Mary Taggert. The Taggerts took the boy in, raising him until he was seven, wherein they tried to abandon him. He promptly responded by burning their house down and burying them in the backyard. Not trusting humans thanks to the harsh messages from his father, Kru-Il bounced from foster home to foster home, merely passing the time as his body developed. When Superman revealed himself, Kru-Il instantly knew: He was not the last of his kind. But as he watched this Kryptonian, he grew into a sort of contempt for the other. This so-called "Superman" was selfless, compassionate. Where was his individual drive, his need for strength?

In the end, Kru-Il knew that he himself should be revealed to the world, but not as one of these "Superheroes." No, Kru-Il would serve only himself and his own aims and kill anyone who gets in his way. Thus, donning his father's old suit placed in the spacecraft he was ferried in, Ultraman was born. And the earth has Yet to See what he can really do.

Sample Post:

Metropolis, Day.

The city shines in early morning light, early risers and work commuters walk the streets, some with purpose, others with lizard like lassitude. Husbands kiss wives goodbye, and sons wave mothers farewell. Buses chauffeur their fares, and taxis stride the roads with an obnoxious overconfidence. All of this is carried out with the normal humdrum of life; children rush to school, adults to work.

From atop his perch on the Globe of the Daily Planet, Ultraman sees all of this, but it is not what he is looking for. He searches the city for a suitable way to make his mark, to make his presence known, to force these humans to feel his presence. Ultraman cracked his neck, and as he did so, the words of his father drifted through his head.

Stay strong, my son; for only the STRONGEST will survive.

Searching through the busy streets, he finally finds what he is looking for, Shifting his weight forward, Ultraman plunges into free-fall, letting the plunge force wind into his face, savoring the adrenaline rush. After fifteen stories, he pulled up, shifting into supersonic flight. Picking up speed, he became little more than a red-blue blur as the sound barrier broke.

FROM HERE ITS WIP
OK. I survived the Downtime, and here's what I have planned
OU: This guy:
DC: RF and if he doesn't work out, I'll do Deathstorm.
Deathstorm is the Crime Syndicate version of Firestorm. I've decided to go outside my hired killer comfort zone and do people with powers.
OK, I'll put him together.
I also have a CS in mind for Deathstroke. I don't care which one gets approved, I'll put up Slade later.
Finally found my character.

| Identity | - Eobard Thawne. Professor Zoom or Reverse Flash
| Origin & Backstory | - Eobard Thawne was born in the 25th century to cold, and almost unloving parents. As a child, his fondest memories are those when he was with his brother, Robern. The two grew up close to each other, and often played together. Then, on Robern's 12th birthday, he fell ill, coughing violently and vomiting blood. Medical tests confirmed. Robern was diagnosed with Stage IV aggressive Lung Cancer. The doctors gave him less than two months to live.

As Eobard watched his brother waste away in a hospital bed, something formed in his head. An obsession, When Robern died, Eobard became obsessed with the most precious thing In his society: Time. Believing that the key to this was the enigmatic Speed Force, he spent years researching the topic, learning all there was to know of both the Speed Force and its users. He studied with a hunger, an all encompassing drive for the knowledge that he could use to go back and fix his brother, At the age of 16, he became the youngest entrant to the Flash Museum. At 20, he became its youngest Professor. During the course of his obsessive studies, however, he became fixated on one Flash, perhaps the greatest of them all: Barry Allen. Convinced that Barry had led a life similar to his own, Eobard became certain that it was through Barry that he could Save Robern.

Using his not insubstantial finances and technology of the era, Eobard replicated the accident that made Barry the man he is. Endowed with Superhuman Speed, Eobard finally had the means to achieve his goal. Running back in time to Robern's death, he tried to save his brother, but to no avail. Robern still died, and Eobard still mourned his death. Fixating on Barry, he decided to go further back in time, and secure Barry's help.

[Year One/Flash's year two]
Arriving in present day Central City, Eobard approached Barry in civilian guise, Amicable at first, the two got along well, When Eobard revealed that he knew Barry was The Flash, Barry confronted him at first, nervous as to how he obtained such sensitive information. Eobard responded by vibrating through the wall of the building they were in. Surprised, Barry began a partnership with Eobard, Dubbing him Zoom. For a time, The Flash and Zoom worked the twin cities as partners. However, this partnership was short-lived as Barry saw Thawne become progressively more violent, and when Barry found out about Thawne's endgame, he threw Thawne out, taking the initial Red outfit of Zoom away. What little friendship they had ended there, and all of Thawne's hero worship of Barry as a paragon of Speed curdled into a hatred of him, and a vengeful attitude. Going back in time, he decided to take what mattered most to Barry away from him, just as Barry had taken his hope of saving Robern away. Then, he fast-forwarded through the years, watching Barry grow without a mother, and a father in prison. He relished Barry's suffering, and waited. Soon, Barry would know his former partner was now his opposite, his Reverse

| Character Notes | - Eobard's still 5'11, 179 pounds, strawberry blond, blue eyes.
| Powers & Abilities | Superhuman Speed-As a result of replicating Barry's accident, Eobard can now move at superhuman speeds, capable of easily breaking the sound barrier and moving at near-light speeds.
Intangibility-Vibrating at certain frequencies, Eobard can move through solid objects.
Limited invisibility-as a result of moving at high speeds, Eobard moves quicker than the human eye can perceive.
| How is this character different? | Eobard latched on to his brother, creating the trauma that pushed him to become Professor Zoom., he started out good at first, almost like a Kid Flash, but more grown, has a more believable reason to hate Barry.
| What is your goal with this character? | I wanted a character that suited me, and RF was it. He embodies, in my eyes, this sort of implacable rage. He HATES Barry, and I wanted to give him a more believable reason for that.
| Sample Post |
The sun shines down on a Nevadan desert as a lizard crawls through the bleak terrain, coming to rest atop a rock. Its rest is short-lived, however, as a Yellow-Red Blur races past it, completely obliterating it with his sheer speed. The sound barrier breaks, and to his perception, everything is immobile. Eobard Thawne, Once the Hero known as Zoom, races onward, his determination etched into his face.

The bleak terrain quickly shifts into an Ohioan plain, full of luxurious green grass, and animals hard at work. He scythes through this, crossing it in an instant, blowing past a Wisconsin Town. He was field testing a new suit, unsure of whether it would hold fast under the extreme speeds he could, and would, generate. So far, it was doing nicely.

Cutting across the Atlantic Ocean, Thawne pulled the cowl down over his face, keeping his nose and mouth exposed. Bolstering his speed, he ran even faster, cutting across Europe in under a minute, before coming to an abrupt stop. "Perfect." He said, eyes red, and angry, rage set deep in to his face. "Allen destroyed my life. It's time I destroyed his."
Wow. Thanks. I had a reverse Flash Idea, but I don't know if it'll work. I'll post it all the same, see what comes up.
THat a bad thing?
Y'know, after some thinking, I actually don't know what character to do now.
