Hillian, if I remember correctly, you run Jtodd, and if so, a cameo/minor involvement in Cassandra's arc'd be appreciated; and it does tie into Jericho, but my plans for Cass extend beyond the Wilson family
Name: Grant Kain
Hero/Villain name: Wraith
Age: 17
Race: Human
Alias: None
Appearance: Brown hair, green eye(one's missing) 6' 170. Wears a gray tactical vest, no sleeves, nothing on his arms. black camouflage pants, black combat boots, and a mask that covers the lower half of his face. Has a tattoo of a black and grey dragon on the back of his shoulder

Powers: none

Skills: He knows Systema and Filipino Kali, making him an expert in hand to hand combat, fire arms, knives, staffs and chain/rope weapons. He is a skilled marksman, able to snipe his enemies from far distances and is trained in the arts of stealth, often hiding even in plain sight to get up close to his enemies and stealthily kill them. This is usually done by snapping their necks or cutting their throats with his knives.

Weapons: sidearm, combat knife, sword. He improvises weapons on the fly as necessary, using whatever's available at the moment.

Gear: night/heat vision goggles.

Personality: He is intelligent, and driven, clinically detached from the moral questions that plague the profession he finds himself in. His demeanor is cold, often hiding care as detachment or frigidity. When it comes to his enemies, however, he is ruthless, and relentless in pursuit of a target or objective.

Backstory: Raised from birth by his father to be a killing machine, Grant was destined to violence even from a young age. By age ten, he had mastered the hand to hand combat skills and bladed weapons bequeathed to him by his father. At age 16 is where his story takes a turn; at age 16 he first encountered the Titans, forming a bond with his siblings, and becoming friends with Rachel. He fought alongside the team until his brother Mason was killed, and dissappeared for six months. Upon his return, people noticed a darker change in him, and his friends hope to lead him back from his murderous origins.

Black-Bat

Gotham City, New Jersey
Night.

The air was cold. So cold you could see your breath. It was common for the winter but some thought that Mr. Freeze intentionally made it colder just to spite the city.

Cassandra Cain, known as the Black-Bat, paid no heed to the cold, enveloped as she was within her suit. Silently, she bounded from rooftop to rooftop, searching for a single site in particular. Barbara, the current Batgirl, had rigged a comm relay within Cassandra's cowl. It was-as with much of the Batfamily's arsenal-directly linked to the Batcomputer, and on this night, Cassandra had caught wind of another murder. Gotham was known for its murder rate, but this one stood out, in part because it was her first case without Bruce, and in part due to the killer's modish operandi. Whomever he or she was they were making it look as if the victims had taken their own lives.

Of course, the GCPD thought the cases were open-and-shut, and with this being Gotham, their attentions were elsewhere. The dispatcher had called the victim in, but no unit had responded yet. More time for her to investigate, in her opinion.

At last the crime scene came into view, and Black-Bat leapt from the rooftops to the alleyway with a grace that would have shamed an Olympic gymnast. Thinking back to what Bruce had taught her, she took notice of her surroundings first, switching the lenses in her cowl to the augmented reality that had come to be known colloquially as "Detective Vision." As she did so, she took in the brick walls, the strewn refuse, the overturned trashcan, before focusing on the victim himself.

He was young, twenty-one if she had to guess, with sandy brown hair and blue eyes clouding over. He lay slumped against the wall, gun in hand. Cassandra stepped forward for closer examination.

She didn't know why, but something about the dead always made her pause, whether from respect for the departed or fear that she might've killed, Cassandra didn't know. Approaching the victim with a hesitant caution, she realized that his arm had been broken, but not by external force. A clenching in her gut formed, and she knew.

"It's him." She whispered.

Sorry it was so short, my focus has been on Cassandra. I'll lengthen it after I post with Black-Bat.

As soon as I envelop her in my hug, she grips the shoulder pads of my armor, screaming in pain. I know how she feels, the burning in her veins, the grinding of bones as they reset themselves.

Finally as the last scream dies down, she goes limp, staring up at me with a tired, accusing glare. "What the hell did you do to me?" She asks in a voice more tired than the glare. I look down at her and release her, turning to pull on the mask again. "I saved your life, Rose. I gave you a diluted version of the serum that made me what I am." She stares into my cold blue eye, not finding the emotion I'm trying so hard to hide. She needs to perceive her father as strong, for her sake.

"There's more. I had wanted to tell you this earlier, but it's about your brother, Rose. Joe's alive."

Name: Cassandra Cain

Alias: Black Bat

Role: Titan.

Brief Bio: Born to assassin David Cain and Lady Shiva(Sandra Wu-San), on May 23,1999, Cassandra Cain was destined for violence before she even drew her first breath. As a toddler, Shiva gave Cassandra to David, who then took Cassandra to a monastery in Tibet, where the monks neither spoke nor socialized. Here, David trained her in silence, teaching her no language but violence. For Years she was instructed in every kind of martial art, learning everything to know about combat. When she had mastered hand to hand combat, David moved on to weapons.

Using his contacts within the League of Assassins, David brought in numerous tutors, all the best in their chosen weapon. By age Ten, She had mastered shuriken, by eleven, the staff. As she progressed, Cassandra developed the ability to read body language and emotion. When she was 13, David brought in a condemned serial killer, and instructed her to kill him. She did so, believing it to be a game, but when she saw the man's face, she was horrified, scarred by his dying expression, terror.

Running from her father and home, Cassandra swore off killing and became a homeless girl. Arriving in Gotham, Cassandra spent weeks avoiding the criminal underground until one night she was cornered by several thugs. Barbara, then Batgirl, had arrived on-scene following up a lead on the gang the thugs belonged to, started to help when Cassandra fought back. Amazed at the girl's fighting ability, Barbara took the girl to Bruce, who agreed to take her in off of Barbara's insistence.

Having already assessed her combat ability, Bruce began to train her in the art of detection, interrogation, and tracking. Unfortunately, her training had left her mute and unable to understand written or spoken language.

Working to rectify this, Bruce brought Cassandra to Elixir, the man who had saved Jason's life. Joshua then tapped into her mind, and rewired her to be able to understand English. With her mutism and dyslexia more or less fixed, Cassandra sought to go back out in the field but found that her linguistic ability had come at a cost; her combat ability was dampened.

Angry, Cassandra spent hours learning both English, detective work, and regaining her combat skills. She pushed herself so hard she often slept in the Batcave. When Bruce deemed she was ready, she went back out in the field, this time as the new Batgirl, with Oracle being confined to a wheelchair.

During the five years she operated as Batgirl, Cassandra fought Bruce's Rogues, and even made an enemy of her own: David Cain, her own father. David had spent years tracking down his daughter and when he found her at Bruce's side, he vowed to kill her AND Bruce. What ensued would arguably be the worst fight of her career. She had beaten her father, but at nearly the cost of her own life.

A month later, Barbara came back foe the wheelchair and Cassandra stepped down as Batgirl, noting how badly Barbara needed the mantle. Taking her old costume, Cassandra decided to go solo for a while, and renamed herself Black Bat. Bruce approved, and gave her the Bowery to patrol and protect.

Now she has caught a case that may prove she has what it takes to be a detective. A string of Gang-related deaths in the Bowery May be more than suicide, and the signs point to a telepath…

Equipment: in her utility belt, Cassandra carries batarangs, a grapple gun, a mini forensics kit, and a collapsible staff.

Abilities:

Master Hand to Hand Combatant: Having been raised from birth by David Cain to effectively be a weapon, Cassandra is a master of various forms of close quarters combat, and can even read body language to anticipate opponents' moves

Detective: While not as good as Bruce, or Jason, Cassandra is a detective in her own right, and is still struggling with the field, although, she is learning.

Athlete/Parkour:Being in extremely good shape for someone of her size and weight, she is an excellent athlete, and can easily best Olympic gymnasts. She can also navigate the city via Parkour.

Weapons-master: As a child, David drilled weapons training into her, forging her into a weapon capable of fighting with almost any weapon, especially swords or shuriken.

Near-Photokinetic Reflexes: By watching video or seeing an acrobatic or combat maneuver several times, she can perform any move within normal human range. She still has to practice in order to achieve proficiency

Personality: Cassandra is tomboyish, and never thinks in a feminine sense. She tends to think tactically, and prefers to intimidate rather than flirt with the guys in her life. Due to her unorthodox upbringing, she has a fear of becoming like her father, or mother. She has a temper though, and as such, tends to be headstrong or impulsive.

Appearance:

Unmasked, Cassandra Cain has black hair, and green eyes. She is half-Asian, and significantly more toned and fit than a girl of her height and weight. . When in costume, Cassandra wears the same outfit she sported during her Batgirl days, having only modified it slightly. She now wraps tape around the gauntlets, and her cape is more tattered.

Affliation:
Batman/Bruce Wayne(Mentor): Bruce took her in at Barbara Gordon's request. He has overseen much of her detective training, and considers her a daughter. She in turn views him as a father figure and Bruce has even formally adopted her as Cassandra.
Jason Todd-Cassandra has met Jason, but only after he became Red Hood. She considers him rude, and abrasive.

Other:
Her height is 5'5" and her weight is 110
