Yeah... don't be doing that without getting other RPers permission. Works contrary to the spirit of these.

I wasn't planning on it. This is just a hypothetical. But the fact that telekinesis, such a simple and common power, can present an invisible attack that cannot be dodged or blocked and can kill in one hit, presents a strange imbalance. Not even in the sense of "forcing" a hit, but in that most players/characters have no logical means to actually defend against such an attack, and the hit (if one is following reasonable logic) is forced without any sort of unfair play on the behalf of the player.

I'd just like to hear your thoughts on this, as such a scenario tore asunder a previous Superhero RP that I partook in.
I have a few character ideas, the foremost of which being somewhat complex.

Would it be possible for a supernatural creature to be sealed and serve as a familiar (or more specifically, a shikigami)? My first character idea is that of an older, experienced onmyouji who some time in the past depowered and sealed into servitude an old and powerful vampire.
I'd like to make a character for this, though I'm unsure as to what I should make. How do you quantify such powers as telekinesis or telepathy, which can be impossible to evade without special abilities or equipment? A tele-neck-snap is difficult for a character without enhanced durability to write their way out of. Equally so are "mind-rape" powers, though much of that relies on the other player, and the results are usually disappointingly similar.
I'm certainly interested. Will probably gobble up Demonbane just to keep it out of the hands of lesser mortals.

I'd advise against a stat system. Trying to quantify mechas with a power scale will invariably result in headaches when you have to factor in things like Diebuster and Turn-A Gundam. Unless you want to refer to an /a/-based power level chart, which is a headache unto itself.
