Bonjour. I wouldn't mind throwing my hat in for GM, I may have an idea or two.
I can do something slightly different with his backstory, then.

What are your concerns? Perhaps I can help in mitigating them.

You don't, I'm very wary of people thinking they're not necessary and in his backstory you mention him doing it without knowledge of spells."Spirit" ... I'm honestly not sure to tell the truth. It's an area I haven't considered before.

I was thinking of his backstory being a sort of "instinctive spell" thing, something like "spells" cast by children of wizards in Harry Potter.

If we go with spirit, his abilities will range more into things like astral projection, summoning and binding animistic spirits and what would amount to ki attacks.

@Dead Cruiser: Sorry, but there's some real problems here.Firstly, I can't accept death as an Affinity. This is largely because, if it were corrected to fit with the Death Affinity already present in the setting, it would be extremely broken and unacceptable for usage. In its current state it already edges on broken. He doesn't appear to need to use spells at all, and the ability to rot things because he feels like it I don't really think is acceptable. Accessing the afterlife is not acceptable and it is also impossible for a human to do. "Death spirits" is extremely ill-defined, and I can't accept that either.

Hmm, well would "Spirit" be an acceptable affinity? The first part of his abilities are what I'm aiming for more than the latter, which can be worked around and altered as needed. If my character can talk to and kick ass this ghosts/spirits/etc, I'll be satisfied.

I didn't realize that I had to specifically list spells. I thought that it was assumed that his abilities were spells.
Well, let's give this a shot, then.

Ah, there was a visitor in the Silent Depths. Kun directed a fraction of her attention to this matter. Such a portion was more than enough to carry a conversation, even with another god. Arguis knelt before her, suspended in the void of her realm, before Kun in all of her majesty. The sight of a being as massive as Kun would likely break the mind of any mortal attempting to comprehend it, and so only gods could stand before her so boldly. Though his words were flowery, Kun easily saw through Arguis' intentions. He saw her as a tool, something to be used to his own ends and then discarded. He had no intention of winning any sort of war, he merely wanted to bring about chaos and observe what followed. The Queen of the Sea was much too old and knew far too much to fall for such a paltry ruse.

"I REFUSE." Thus came her response. Where the thoughts of mortals were lapping waves, those of gods were surging tides, and the thoughts of Kun were an all-devouring tsunami. "YOU THINK TOO LIGHTLY OF ME, ARGUIS. MY SEAS ARE VAST ENOUGH; YOUR PALTRY OFFER DOES NOT ENTICE ME TO FIGHT YOUR ENEMIES IN YOUR PLACE. BEGONE, AND DO NOT BOTHER ME AGAIN WITH SUCH TRIFLING MATTERS."

With a twitch of one of her mighty tentacles, the ether void of the Silent Depths swirled and flowed, pushing Arguis away. Qyrl gently bobbed and flowed along the stream, bumping into the god of chaos with their soft, harmless bodies. Each one gently pulsed with light, as though reacting to the contact, and languidly swam in random directions. Kun turned her attention away from the impetuous god, and thought to his attempted meddling in the mortal world. Perhaps it would be wise to send an emissary to Tyrithe, warning her of the potential of attack. Simply because Kun had been wise enough not to, there was still the chance that other, more foolish gods could be tempted by Arguis' offer.
Just spitballing....

Character could be an older father-figure of sorts for the Six. Was at one point an impetuous street-punk with with no concept of restraint or responsibility, abusing his powers. Eventually grew to respect the power he wielded, thus maturing and mellowing out. In character dynamics he'd probably strike a balance between "cool older guy who has mastered his powers and acts like a mentor," and "weird dad that does weird dad stuff," with just a bit of "can't take the streets out of the boy" hot-bloodedness.

Any chance of being able to play on of the Rogue Magi?

Can't find the exact line at the moment, but the OP notes that the Six are the only playable faction.

Anyway, I think I've decided on the White Necromancer. I'd be giving them the domain of "Souls," thus giving them spells relating to ghost, spirits, emotions, that sort of thing.

I'd have to know what you have in mind for any of these, but I can't say anything for sure until I see your bio.

Difficult to know the level we're working at with no bios yet posted. Do you plan on posting your own as an example sometime soon?
I'd be interested, if you'll have me. Position number doesn't matter. Have a few ideas, if you have any sort of preference. Was thinking of a mind mage, a white necromancer, or an artificer with either an electrical or arcane theme.
